Bit of a different situation than that unfortunately. We don’t see each their right now as she lives far enough away from me I won’t see her over summer (university students) but it’s inevitable I’ll end up seeing her at my squads house parties and their house parties as we had a relatively clean break but didn’t want to exclude like 1 person from either cause we were all pretty close. And since I was the last one to throw everything at her and take an emotional shit all over her, I am doubtful …

Yea I think even though I was the last one to give in and be a total faggot, it’s best I just acknowledge the cringe and move on. I’m NEVER contacting her from now on, and I’m planning on short vague responses when she inevitably speaks to me, if not ignoring if I can muster up the strength to do so. Totally depends on the girl, once had sex with a girl after her texting 'mate' and 'pal', however other girls that call me 'bud' or 'pal' I know I have no chance with.
