I do not think they would sympathize, but rather say “This person’s personal life is becoming a liability/headache, better to be safe than sorry...” It’s a terrible position to be in. My doctor told me only about 5% of patients he’s personally seen on Propecia experience libido or erection problems. A coworker who takes it swears by it, as well. From what I’ve read, it doesn’t exactly reduce testosterone... it’s mechanism is more complex than that. My plan is to have a thorough blood test after 3 months and see how my testosterone levels are then. If the numbers look bad, I can hop off the drug.
