1	Dear Nice Guy Friend This is a tricky question. I've spent a considerable amount of time working in a bar, though this is just my experience. It isn't as common for a man to buy ladies drinks during the first encounter then it used to be. I think people have just held onto those beliefs. On the other side, there are guys that think that just because they bought you a drink you owe them something, like a phone number or sex (yes, I was told that once).
