Zebra is spot on, please go an speak to a mental health professional. They will ultimatley tell you that it is not your fault, but they will help you through the process to get to the point where you beleive and agree with that statement. Organisations like lifeline or the like may be able to assist if you do not/or cannot afford to see one.

you have nothing to loose, and the ex isnt an issue to you. Any problems are for those two to sort out.

Start with the side bar and work from there.

Thank you. That is the plan, I am going to try and set something up with the 7 tonight, the 8.5 on Sunday afternoon/evening, and the 9 later in the week, but I have told myself that I must set it up today. I have done the first hard part of getting a number, now I need to maintain the tempo. All three have potential.

I was thinking the level of superb dress that Brad Pitt's character had in this movie, but thinking bout it, Clooney was up there as well. (This is the only movie that has made me think I want a white linen suit)

I completly agree, things go so much smoother in general when we are all just polite to each other. If a woman holds the door open for me I am more then happy to thank her for it :)

actually the origin of the term is chevalerie (of french origin, or cavalier in a more english-ised version), which loosely means a person who fought from horseback or owns a war horse. It was later co-opted by the noble classes (who in turn had became knights of various orders) into the currently accepted definition of courtly love towards a woman. Apart from that you are spot on :) it is about showing that you are a person who is an example to others to follow, that you own the situation, and …

I have used the one where I threaten to take them over the knee and spank them, it got a very positive response along the lines of 'I had better misbehave again soon then'. I saw it as an opportunity to escalate.

Once I finally overcome my AA and get a conversation rolling, the topic always seems to roll around to travel and where you have been. One I will always use and seems to work wonders is telling them about the time I spent in East Timor right after the riots when I was with the Navy and doing humanitatian aid rebuilding work there.

As do I, when being playful with any of my female friends it is Miss [firstname], they like it :) I asked one what she thought of that and she said it made me look more the gentleman.

recoveirng AFC here, I think that you were being the AMOG even without realising it. While you might have initially perceived him as being the AMOG, his own actions by not showing propper calibration towards the HB8 (esp despite hooking up with the HB10 a bit) elevated you to the AMOG and thus the desirable target for the 8. Just my two cents, still learning the dynamics of interaction :)

Anecdotal evidence is only useful for convincing people who don't know the difference between a structured scientific study and anecdotal evidence. This is the smartest comment I have heard in a long time, thank you

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
