If the friendship is that important to them the despite you making a pass at them and it fails(possibly in a flaming heap) then IT DOES NOT MATTER!

If you truely are a friend of importance to them then things will go back to how they were before you made a pass at them. Step up take the shot, you have been the AFC orbiter for to long now. If they choose to change things with the friendship after making the pass then they were not the friend that you thought they were.

You have no reason to be scared, sack up and make a pass at the woman you think/know you have feeling for. Worst case you know how they feel about you, and that knot in your stomach will be gone. Best case you now have the woman you have bene pining over, (even if only for a night)
