Your title seems to imply some sort of time travel. EDIT: I don't have the link you're looking for.

This seems like a controversial topic for TRP, but I'll give you my input. I say it's controversial because of this sentence: Truly, my problem is a complete lack of self discipline. It's not, because it's hard to draw a line to distinguish your ADHD from your lack of discipline. What is NOT controversial is that in the end, nobody gives a fuck, so it's up to YOU to make up for the deficiency, no matter what it takes. You'll hear ADHD is made up, you'll hear "just eat right", you'll hear you're …

You're right, it's all about delivery. I just hope he didn't sound like my ex girlfriend who said it all the time.

As someone else pointed out there is a difference between TRP which is theory and embodying these traits, being "alpha". So yes, you're right about learning TRP. However, at this point in my life (24), I'm learning what it means to be a man, and I've realized that I WANT to embody a lot of these principles so I need to take action. I do think time off is the way to go because right now it's just all theory for me. I appreciate the support. I'll return with something to share.

I see what you mean, but I feel like swallowing TRP comes with responsibility. I.e. being a man, being alpha. That's the way I take it. So from your view this is just me "upping the alpha".

I'm actually quite happy with where I'm at in terms of progress. I feel great, I look better than ever, I'm back in school, etc. What I'm not okay with is that there is something that I want and I'm not going after it. I don't mean a woman, I mean women. It's just not a trait that I want as a man. So I'm taking this time to obliterate it. Also, appreciate the support. I'm just hoping that someone else in my situation will realize it.

I have definitely noticed differences in the way I think and act. But it's not enough. I know that I'll always be BP unless I have the courage to take action. Even if it's just one aspect of my life. Like you said, most BP will remain so, and I refuse to be one of them.

“What do you like about me?” You used this to make your point about being confident but it wreaks of insecurity. Looks like you did a good job overall, but let women worry about shit like that. You already know why she likes you.

I think it's great you you're aware of your situation. It's an important step. The next one is action. What you need to realize is that it's okay to be selfish. Let go. Don't make this about her. You are better without her. Realize that she's only bringing you down. I was in a similar, but less extreme situation recently. I was making changes in my life and I got in a LTR with a girl who validated my newfound ego. I had been wanting to move out of home and I did, I took her with me. At the time,…

While the point you're making is cool, this post sounds really sandy to me. Post "The worst thing about slayers" on TRP and you're gonna have a bad time. Our goal here should be to become the slayers. Not necessarily just with women, but in life, and if you're coming here to complain about people who are better than you, you're doing it all wrong. Become better than them. However if your point was just to write on theory, try standing back and examining it without so much bias.

I don't think this philosophy makes it clear that you should walk away from your LTR, only that you should be aware and in control of it. Walking away may be the best way to take control, it may not be. I walked out of a LTR a couple months before I found TRP because I felt a call to embark on this journey to become a man of my own. TRP is a huge game changer, and it is helpful both in and out of a LTR or marriage. I feel like the decision is yours and which way you go will determine how you con…

I'm new here, but I'll share what TRP means to me so far. From what I've seen, TRP isn't about making us happy. In fact, most of it, when read passively for the first time, should make you angry. TRP is about opening your eyes to a truth that has been hidden from you. The Matrix, to use the metaphor is a lie we've been told about what it means to be a man. See, in the film, Neo knows he is getting disconnected. When you first stumble on here, you don't know what you're in for. You suddenly catch…

Kong needs to start seeing a male barber. Anyway, I like this. It flips the responsibility on men because we are the ones deciding the dynamics of the relationship, as we should. The women should be receiving your invitation and merely deciding whether she accepts the deal or not, it is not on her to have a friend option if you don't give her one. The key word here is responsibility. We are men. We embrace our responsibilities and go forth.

You briefly mentioned Socrates and I wanted to add to that. I'm at uni and I had to take a Greek/Roman Humanities course this semester. It has amazed me how many of these ideals were embodied by the ancient civilization, especially the Greeks. The concept of Arête is that men needed to strive for excellence (mostly intellectually, in battle, and physically). The idea that a man needs to be a man and fearless (even of death), honorable, respectful, and more importantly strive to achieve his desti…

The way you described everybody as the same as me gave me this crazy idea of treating everyone as if they were me. Why would I be afraid of approaching her if she's just me. Why wouldn't I make that joke when it's just me hearing it. I don't know if I'm conveying the image you gave me but it blew me away for a second. EDIT: They're all just you. Have fun with yourself.

You've done good so far, dude. She's into you if she's asking you for a second date, and yes she knows it's a date. First of all relax a bit. Breathe. It's okay, no matter what happens. Remember to have fun and get to know her. There is no pressure and it's not the last date you'll ever have so be at ease. As you said, you will want to escalate even if it's not smooth and you stumble. A museum is a perfect place to take it slow, which will be good for you. You can lead her to a different room by…

took me 1 hr to w rite this. I like you. Anyway, obviously "kiss them" is the answer, but I'd suggest trying next Friday sober (maybe just some approaches) because at least when I'm drunk, I have a lot of courage but I can't even think of what I'm doing. As a total newbie, I think it helps to learn sober.

As someone else said "I like you" is great. My ex girlfriend used to ask me that even two years into our relationship and that was usually my response. Relationship or not, it lets them know you're into them and it has a dominant tone.

I did this for the first time last night. The key, I think, is to not STAY alone. Approach guys, girls, make friends, find a wing, etc. I read somewhere that finding a "nest" to come back to is helpful. A set that you can come back to in between others to relax with. Basically meet people like you normally would.

This is basically the idea behind the SimplePickup Youtube channel. Check it out. Mostly the "Get Her Number" episodes.

I'm also new to Seddit but I've experienced this somewhat with my best friends. It's hard not to want to share all this great information with people you want to see succeed, especially if it'd be fun to progress together. However, in this situation it's better to let your actions speak for themselves. Try not to tell them about how great Seddit is and how everything they do is wrong. Instead, you can "show them something interesting you found", maybe ask them what they think so they are exposed…

This is a great FR, man. I'm really new to this but I relate to the vibe you created. I thought it was great that you were not afraid to involve other dudes, especially when you are out alone. I can definitely see the RSD influence too. Last night was my first night out alone, I was also sober and I had fun. I can definitely see myself heading in this direction. Keep it up.

I walked in a straight line to her and she sees me. I dont break eye contact. She does. Feels good. This is just the best, isn't it? Good job on the number close.

First off welcome to the challenge. You're already doing great things on day 2, in my opinion. If you'd ask me, I'd say you could have introduced yourself and chatted with HB7/8 for a couple minutes while knowing you had a group waiting for you. This would have set you up for later, worse case scenario, you just pumped your state. Keep it up.

Don't beat yourself up. You went out and opened. From what you described you were having fun in your sets. You didn't care what these people thought about what you said you just amused yourself. That's good. It sucks when you don't reach your goal so let that fire you up for the next day. Keep it up.

I actually thought I was "too good" to take small steps like I did day 4 and I should be going all or nothing, but I was so wrong. They help and I will continue to push forward. Thanks for the support.

Dude, you implemented what I said the next day that's awesome. What you said about having fun is so true. If you're having fun and don't care you can't lose. Either you convey fun to the girl and she's interested or you don't and you amuse yourself and have a good time. Keep it up.

Day 3: I had the same problem on campus on Friday. But it looks like you made the best of it. Remember to try to take it further every day. Happy late bday, bro and good work so far.

Hey nice work on day 5. Sounds like you opened really well and got her into you quickly. I'm also glad to see more people have joined the challenge. Hopefully they'll stay active and comment. We could all use the constructive criticism and ideas.

Surprisingly I'm good with all of these things. I've been working on eye contact for a while. But for some reason stopping someone for reasons other than that with "everyone looking" feels weird. I know it's illogical.

Day 5: I went out at night. I went to a local college bar because it's near me and there'd be plenty of people. I also decided to be completely sober for this. There was a cover until 12 so I walked around outside and opened a few sets. The first were a couple of guys who were walking out. I told them I was new to town and asked if this place was any good. They were friendly and we ate shit for a bit until we were cut off by a guy yelling at his girlfriend near us. Two guys and two girls came to…

"Hi. You're cute and I wanted to meet you" Or literally anything else. You know you have table tennis in common with her, so you're already one step ahead.

As far as being direct, you can make it a rule to be direct in the first 30 seconds. (From SimplePickup) You can open with something like "Where is the post office?" and halfway through interject with "I'm kidding. I thought you were cute" with a smile. I think using the indirect works to tease yourself into doing it, and then going direct is necessary so she knows your intent and you do (by the time you say it you have no choice but to keep going from there).

Good job approaching! From what you described you definitely could have pushed the interaction further. Especially after she picked up a good vibe from you. Instead of disagreeing with her you could have teased her about it. Good luck tomorrow!
