Ain’t beta to raise the concern but this should’ve been set during the vetting period prior to an LTR. The words she sends now are not important, she could just as easily be texting her ex about how she’s just trying to find a nice way or a good spot to drop you off. You need to be prepared for this or get out now. Focus on yourself and your priorities.

I’m learning this the hard way now. Don’t waste an hour on this shit, clearly state “you can do whatever you want but I wouldn’t want to be with someone that acts like “insert action here”. From her actions after this is clearly stated you can vet. In your scenario, if it were me I would just get up and leave with no explanation or drama. By express her emotions she means she needs to take his dick while she moans.

Had to come back to this post because really reflected on this and I would even apply stoic concepts to this (this will be my personal approach). Conceptualize the fact that a situation is either good or bad but it’s about how you react. So if you enable it to be fuel to your fire and use it to better yourself then that is more of a proactive approach than a reactive one which should be the goal. A personal example would be I have an LTR prospect I am vetting and she has been attempting to get m…

If you’re looking for yes men you’re in the wrong sub. If you call her out you’ll fail. Forget her words, what does her actions say? If she’s still fuck you, who cares let her throw her childish tantrums. Edit: read another one of your responses about this being thrown in at a church sermon, you have either to just not acknowledge or have a witty response like “well it’s a sin I’m willing to pay for”

With you guys on this..... talked to someone in my life I consider has RP mentality but obviously hasn’t followed the group and they said that this comes from expectations from others instead of doing your part for what it is and expect nothing so anything is a bonus. Hard to practice but been reflecting a lot about it today

I don’t think you ever stop learning. But with recognizing patterns and digesting the information you are able to recognize the reality in situations and take them for what they are. TRP also gives you the freedom to focus on what’s important once you’ve digested its truths because you now know where to focus your time. It also helps when you fall off the horse and lose course and need to be recentered.

Thought I’d share this with you since it may be applicable to you. I fell off the horse this weekend with my mindset, let life kind of run away with it a bit and had a very difficult time to mentally reset myself but I just applied what we talked about and it helped immensely. Sometimes it isn’t just reflection or writing down emotions but it truly re-centers me. My example would be when I let myself live I let some emotions take control instead of driving myself through logic and maintaining fr…

Apologies on the delayed response here but owning it for me has been a exercise of everything described above doing it in a regimented format and slowly I have been able to begin to achieve the inner peace/acceptance I searched for. Personally, proactive reflection for me is reading, journaling and meditation. While I have just started to get into the meditation headspace it has really turned around my mentality in a variety of aspects but mostly around overthinking. I have been able to categori…

Do you have better things to do that are important to you like gym, hobbies, purpose? If she fits in the schedule sure but If you’re moving your shit around for her, it’s a hard no. I agree with the first comment though, I think for the long term your time would be better purposed towards reading the side bar, the books recommended and then applying what you learn IF it fits your schedule.

I have struggled with this heavily in the past and still do from time to time. One thing I always remind myself is that no one is responsible for my problems other than myself. They sense your inner turmoil because you allow them to and you wear them on your sleeve. Your estimate of this perception you believe these women have of you are all imagined and self-created which means you have the power to revoke them completely. This may sound counterintuitive but what I do is bury that shit and deal…

Exactly - like I love lifting man, I fucking love finding enlightenment under the bench press but what gave me my real wake up call is when I got some lab results and shit did not look good and my lifestyle like this was not sustainable. Now I’m more motivated than ever. The people that care for you will love you whether you’re lean or thicker... so why wouldn’t you care about every one else’s random opinion of you. My goal is that this upcoming year when I get those lab results, they look good …

Almost same exact situation as you except I have a different mindset - I don’t care if girls get more attracted to me. Took me a while to figure this shit out but the more I started focusing on doing things (like this) for myself, the better I truly felt and more focused and natural my drive was for that goal so I challenge you to reflect on why you’ve decided to take on this objective.

Love this response and the notes with it. I would add that if she ever asks “well what are you going to do?” Just be as ambiguous as possible while remaining in frame, “I have a lot to do actually” would be my response... this sort of mystery or lack of direct response is what will keep her intrigued. Failed too many times in this realm not to see it at least a bit clearer now.

Stop caring, keep checking your fast ball regularly (gaming chicks) and focus on yourself. I don’t care what the other RP guys think, some here only focus on the female aspect of TRP than the full encompassing view of having self respect and true confidence that is derived from within. If you use the tools in your arsenal that the RP gives you, you’ll be indifferent of the outcome or prepared for it if it does come to that (branchswinging, etc) but you’re indifference and focus on yourself if do…

Stop caring if she goes on a girls trip. Be confident enough to know she won’t do shit IF she went and IF she truly respects you. Don’t cancel, huge mistake. This is your time and you need to get your mind off of her and realize that your male friendships are important to you. Hold yourself at a high value. That’s being said, she may test you with a classic “I should go on a girls trip” and that’s when you just agree and amplify or use another test technique (be dismissive, reply with low intere…

My buddy had his business not do well and ultimately sold his part of the company to walk away. Here’s the thing he missed when he talked about how sad it was to walk away: while it was a failure, he has gained priceless experience and stories from these experiences. Decision making capabilities, new perspectives in the industry, etc. May sound cliche but I am learning now it isn’t about the end goal as much as it is how you are trying to get there

Was in this same place once before. After continuing self-improvement I came to the conclusion that if I am truly in control (of emotions, of how I react, etc)... would I rather be depressed that I know the truth and keep telling myself it’s hard to accept OR appreciate the fact I am discovering this truth and find joy for taking thing for how they are and being thankful I am aware of things I couldn’t even fathom of before... that was my turning point

He’s providing her with dick. I literally laughed at this post, how could this guy consider asking that here when it’s laughable the lack self respect he has for himself. Like everyone else’s recommendation - hit the gym, read, and re-build. Stop digging this fucking hole deeper.

OP, take it from someone that in the past would break this rule and looks back and regrets the fuck out of it. Invest your time elsewhere instead of this chick

Like I said - this is probably the answer you don’t want to hear but it’s the truth. In fact it’s the same truth most of us are dealing with right now and that’s why I sympathize with you because I know it’s not easy. Despite you claiming she accepts you for your flaws, she doesn’t (don’t listen to what she says with her mouth, analyze her actions). Women are judgmental and emotional. They are not capable of the same sort of defined love we are capable of. As soon as you show a position of weakn…

Lol dude you know the answer, it’s just not what you want to hear. Cut her off, detach from her and focus on you. She is not wife material and will never be, she has 0 respect for you. Work on other chicks because the effort on this one will bring you nothing.
/r/askTRP06/12/20 10:20 PM
2

I wouldn’t even let her continue being a plate for the time being. First step here is detaching completely, once that is complete and you can see her for what she is acting like and why she’s gotten to this level of disrespect with you, then you could consider having her as a plate because then you’ll never go back to the attached version of how you saw her. Easiest way to do this is think about it like this: When a girl cares about some shit, she does it right. She didn’t even care to fully hid…

Don’t follow up. The preying off of you wanting her to come and following up will only lower her interest since she knows she has you. She’ll reach out if interested. Get a 1 person breakfast, become outcome independent.

I’m around the same age as you and have a similar career/financial situation. I recently started slowly but surely overcoming the anger and depression phase and have also implemented lifting into my schedule. Most of my anger and depression phase stemmed from what you struggle with. Female validation. While I’m still learning and working on it, I see the more I continue to invest in myself, the more I value myself. Example - recently got invisalign for teeth, booked 2 vacations for next year (1 …

What else do you like to do? What are you passionate about? I’m constantly asking myself these questions to keep turning negatives (stress from work, stress from family, insecurities) into positives (becoming a 10 or less handicap at golf, getting in shape at the gym, cooking great meals). This is a proactive way to deal with things. I think art is the first step for you like golf was the first step for me. Just need to keep on getting better at anything and everything you’re passionate about or…

Your answer is what you said learn to be comfortable with being alone. I would also recommend realizing, you don’t miss her. That’s a cold hard fact. You miss the thought of her or the company or just having someone there. This chick used you basically as a crutch if you think about it. As unfortunate as her situation is, she needs to seek professional help because you aren’t gonna save her and her having pictures of her ex and shit should show you enough. As fucked up as this sounds, get out of…

I agree with this approach. Find something to calm your mind, we’re all into hitting the gym here and getting in shape but balance is needed. For example, golf is my go to in order to find peace of mind.

She’s playing games with you because she thinks she’s all high and mighty and has control. My play here is don’t text for a while and see if she reaches out. If so, this confirms her interest, invite her to dinner at your place and don’t imply sex this time. Show her a good time and she will open up to it.
/r/askTRP08/07/20 08:00 PM

How can we make someone else our mission when they have their own path? Realistically you have 0 control over someone else. You do control your own future though. Now you ask why after you it shouldn’t be her. Well this is prioritization. Has she been vetted correctly? Shown you she deserves that slot in your priority list? All questions you have to ask as you promote I believe.
/r/askTRP27/06/20 11:28 PM

Hope you realize that now and do not try to convince yourself that she will change while with you. She won’t. I learned the hard way in the same situation.

I could see that if you’re looking for someone legitimately conservative politically. An idea of mine would be to make that “right-wing” group interesting. Join it, sit in so you can act like you’re in it and do personal work while at meetings and then suggest a pregame or meet up at a bar to get the ball rolling. Take control into your own hands.

My advice - date someone who’s mature enough to take care of their own relationship and problems. More importantly, date someone who understands relationship privacy. If you’re with a girl who can’t be mature and realize that there needs to be privacy in a relationship, she should be gone after the first incident because all that’s happening now is her friends hate you and will instigate shit.
/r/askTRP27/06/20 10:43 PM

Join groups and go to events that are in accordance to your interests and the girls will be there waiting. Example - I like soccer. I play co-ed soccer on some team I signed up for. Chicks that have the same interest will be there. Low effort, high success.

I’ve lost my dad a long time ago. Around the date my best buds usually know I need a balance between alone time and their help to keep me busy so I don’t dig my hole too deep. Simple answer - listen to him, check in on him and invite him to things that will occupy his time and help rebuild himself (gym, hanging with a group of people, events, etc.)

I personally go through highs and lows like riding a rollercoaster. Since you’re asking about feeling below average I’ll give you what I do during my lows. I just keep my head down and just keep on chipping away at the shit I don’t feel good about until I feel good. Own the fuck out of it. While you’re working just be present at work, when you’re off go hit the gym. When you meet girls, “hey I work at x bar, lets get some drinks when I’m off of work”. Oneitis is the answer to all of these questions. The fact you’re asking this in this sub shows that you are attempting to convince yourself that it’s okay she has all these red flags and you want to enjoy her company. As soon as she fucks you over you’ll be back here asking why you went back to your old self and didn’t realize that unfortunately putting all your eggs in one basket isn’t the best route to go unless she properly vetted. TRP isn’t against relationships, it’s ensuring you’re focused…

Girls go through phases based on if they got hurt or got tired of alphas but in the end they always go back to us. Betas come in during the middle of the phase where the girls are hurt or tired of dominant guys and want to try something new which sooner or later the girl realizes they want that alpha in their life.
