yeah it’s weird to think that those memories and routines will never be the same again… it was my decision to leave because it was bad, but every now and then when i’m tired i’ll go back there… but i’m making good new routines with them now

A year out and randomly i miss the house and being around them all the time…. very glad im out of the terrible marriage and getting verbally abused… but every now and then i go huh was it that bad? but kids are way way better off, my new house is good but obviously not the big house i used to have… don’t miss the ex at all but yes the routines still come up as missed some and its strange… have 50/50 custody and we do 2-2-3

doesn’t at all, i understand. i chose to leave after being in a similar scenario of her unhappy, emotionally cheating, and beating me down. my sons are better off and it has worked out

I deal with it on the 50% the kids aren’t with me especially on unstructured weekends. Luckily have good friends and a good girl i’ve been dating, but sometimes the quiet is weird
