I’m pretty sure they’re not together but there’s still a wedding photo on Facebook. So romance!

Yup… he said in his message it’s his weekly breakfast with her too… also turns out he got married less than a year ago… only moved out in November and is still married to his ex

So romance.

When I told him it was super inappropriate, he said they were a “package deal” and now he’s blocked

The sad thing is… they’re higher quality guys than the ones on the apps which I’ve just deleted for my own sanity. There was another guy I matched with from this event who has actually organised a proper dinner date at a nice place and accommodated my preferences…so we’ll see… but at the same time it’s just so sad to me that this is now a rare and impressive thing for men to be able to do these days… when really it’s just totally the bare minimum!

Yup and like the park date… both are zero effort… and bringing your kid makes it less than zero effort because it’s something he was going to do anyway — he mentioned it was his weekly breakfast with his daughter… so reading between the lines this could be his only time with her each week… what a way to spend it

Yeah… nailed it… so sad

That and/or he has no sense of boundaries or consideration for the physical and emotional safety of his kid…

Yes… 6 months is recommended… and imagine if that was your child and your ex was doing that… fuckkkkk

I used to wonder the same thing. Then I started dating guys who were actually into me... and realised if a guy is actually into you, he makes it very obvious and will put in a lot of effort to be with you and make you feel good. If he isn’t doing that, he’s not into you. Guys aren’t subtle.

What is your end goal? Marriage, long term...?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/09/20 05:09 AM

Yep. In Australia, just as one example, indigenous science was extremely advanced and they discovered astronomy long before Europeans and they could reliably use the sky to navigate long distances across the continent. They could also do the same with finding water. Not to mention knowing how to live totally sustainably for thousands of years without destroying the planet... as the “developed” people are
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/08/20 12:17 PM

Indigenous culture isn’t “developed”? 😢

I like to think of it as a nudge for women to be in our power and being in charge of what happens to us. You don’t rely on him to do the right thing. Doesn’t matter what he does. You’re the one with the high standards and self love and respect. You’re on your throne and don’t have time for nonsense, you’re acting like the queen you are who won’t tolerate lvm. Next!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/06/20 02:07 AM
7

Ah I think I get it now! Both are true:) and if we all refused to let lvm treat us like that and we walked away they could still want to treat us like that... but wouldn’t have the option 🤣
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/06/20 10:36 PM
54

It doesn’t excuse their behaviour, but yes we do let people treat us like shit. If we walked away or broke up with the guy or told him off, he couldn’t keep doing it, could he? On some level we are always making a choice. So let’s choose to only let people people into our lives who treat us well. And stop letting people treat us like shit💪

I went out with a cop whose idea of a surprise romantic and adventurous date was takeaway food “that was $10 and didn’t make him sick” and xbox. The warning sign was he kept trying to get me to organise the dates. And I refused. And that’s what he came up with. That was the third and last date. Bye.

If we all did this as women... think about how much the world would change.

Punched him in the eye! You made my day sister💪💪💪
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/05/20 06:28 AM

Yep and childhood trauma such as a troubled relationship with your mother as a child is one of the key causes of narcissistic personality disorder in adulthood
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/20 03:04 PM
45

Yeah you can’t communicate away selfishness!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/20 04:05 AM
51

Not to mention he could keep reinfecting her. It’s an INFECTION! So gross and selfish 🤢🤮
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/20 04:03 AM

Aside from everything else, bad spelling and grammar always get me. What else are you going to be lazy and half assed about?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/20 03:58 AM
35

The number one red flag for me (backed by science) is his relationship with his mother. If he has a bad relationship with her or none at all, he’s way more likely to be toxic. So I always find out about that pretty fast. Another great test is after a few dates and things are a bit more established, cancelling a date and seeing how he handles it. Is he understanding and reschedules or does he have a meltdown or get really angry?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/20 01:57 AM

If it feels like there’s a back and forth conversation then yeah. But it sounds like I shouldn’t even be having a “conversation” even if it’s just for a few minutes... but then how am I meant to know if I like him or he likes me if it’s just like one or two texts a day over a few days?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/05/20 01:51 PM
1

Depends. If a guy asks me out and we’re making plans over text and right in the middle he stops replying for 30 minutes without any explanation then yes that’s a long time. I know you are trying to help but I’m not texting any of them for longer than 10-20 minutes max per day and if they don’t ask me out after a few days I unmatch. Most days I only look at my phone once or twice (I have a separate phone for dating which I keep off most of the day)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/05/20 01:44 PM

Do I really even want to be talking to someone who takes forever to reply?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/05/20 01:11 PM

What would you consider reasonable? 5 minutes?

A guy who ran a yoga studio I used to go to got married... and he and his wife both changed their name to “his last name-her last name.” now that’s a high value man!☺️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/04/20 04:37 AM

Can confirm. Some men see ghosting as a challenge and think you want to be chased. Reject him politely and block right away
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/04/20 02:46 PM
3

Yes, just cuz he’s an ass doesn’t mean you should let your queen robes get dirty. Don’t stoop to his level. Say something simple like that and don’t wait for a reply — don’t engage. Then block.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/04/20 02:45 PM
3

Better to be the bigger person, tell him you have to let him go and then block. Also makes him less likely to pursue you. A few times I’ve ghosted or unmatched and it’s made them stalk me and try harder... they act as if it was some sort of mistake or they’re confused. This way I think it’s pretty clear what’s happening.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/04/20 02:42 PM

Yup...

I went out with a guy once who asked me to leave my used tampon in his bathroom so he could go in and look at it after...😳

Yeah and what’s with all dudes proudly proclaiming they have dad bods. Ew! Imagine if women said that “hey I’m overweight and don’t bother to exercise or take care of my health and proud of it!!!”

I reported it to bumble and they are investigating and let me change my name to just my first initial to protect my safety💪
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/04/20 08:26 AM

Bahahah. How did you know?🤓 he’s also about 13 years older than me
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/04/20 05:03 AM

Yeah that’s the thing... I use the full version of my name not the name I go by professionally — like Dick vs Charles if I was a guy. And he still found me!! I may have to use my middle name now.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/04/20 02:26 PM

Yep that’s where my thinking was going with that!

Once I dated a guy and dumped him for being useless and toxic and months later of no contact and me having moved on I find out he asked my therapist for her to do couples counselling for us. Which is funny because he was also chronically broke and probably expected me to pay for it. But the kicker for me was he was so sure of himself and that he wasn’t the problem that his solution, months after I stopped caring, was couples counseling rather than actually going to see a therapist by himself, fo…

I’d say assume the best and go in with kindness — and perhaps say that if you were in her shoes you’d want to know so that’s why you’re sharing and that women gotta stick together and support each other. If she gets upset don’t engage as others have said... just wish her well and know you did your best 🌸

For bumble I just start the convo with either a flower or smiley emoji and nothing else... and then let them do the rest. For what it’s worth I’ve used both tinder and bumble and while there are less guys on bumble they are much better quality. Tinder is a dumpster fire and I’ve stopped using it.

Thank you! I appreciate your in depth reply Yeah see I’m busy too and have a phone I use just for dating which I keep off most of the time and I generally reply/have a brief chat to them once a day or less... and I am warm and kind and when I do. I never chase and don’t ever call or text first. With other guys who have been flaky I’ve done exactly what you’ve suggested. Just ignored them if they don’t pick an actual time but they usually just disappear which I see as them filtering themselves ou…

Yes and we are trained to doubt ourselves and blame ourselves and please men... so be easy on yourself and keep practicing trusting your feelings and intuition and not stuffing down your feelings. Rori Raye’s work in this area was a game changer for me in shifting this as it was a process for me as well! Have a look at her stuff💖

Hey I get this is a scary time and it’s making people fearful and angry... but it’s also important to ask good questions and think for yourself and do research and stay informed and be kind... each country and region has different situations... Sweden is just one example of a govt that hasn’t gone into lock down and yes you can meet strangers or anyone and people are still gathering in large groups without any physical distance requirements. It hasn’t worked as well for them as here... but there…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 05:13 PM

Ok, you must know better than the scientists and the health minister who have successfully contained it with no community spread and have set the rules we’ve all been following🤣
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 03:54 PM
14

I wonder how that’s working for him...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 03:18 PM

I think this is also don’t date a person with narcissistic personality disorder, regardless of age... I dated one for 4 months and he was only 2 years older than me and this sounds exactly like this behaviour...!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 03:13 PM
-14

6 people have died in my state. They were all from cruise ships. There’s only about 500 cases, and almost all of those have been from international travel and cruises and have all been contained and there’s no community spread. We can’t leave our cities and no one is allowed in the state or the country. So exactly how is anyone going to spread it? There’s a reason the govt here is letting us go outside and meet 1 person and is talking about further relaxing these restrictions soon...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 02:42 PM

Mmm thanks but not what I was asking for feedback on🤣... and you don’t know where I live so you can’t really tell me what the rules are or aren’t😘

Thank you. I keep forgetting to trust my intuition!!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 02:09 PM

None of it is your fault. There is absolutely no excuse for sort that disgusting behaviour!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/04/20 01:57 PM

Thanks a good reminder:) I wouldn’t ask a guy out full stop but if I was a man and jnto someone I wouldn’t leave it a week — it’s rude and flaky!
