I think a better idea is to not get crazy girls pregnant by avoiding having unprotected sex with crazy girls. It avoids, you know, crime. You'd be taking a HUGE risk there buddy. You're willing to risk being in prison 14 years? You're honestly willing to go there? Because this dude probably thought he wouldn't get caught either. You've pretty much admitted intent on the internet already. Everyone thinks they're smarter than the cops until they get pinched.

A Florida man tried that. He's in prison now. For 14 years. You'd be a pretty big idiot to try it.

My daughter's only 10 months old so I can't really say I've got it figured out. I don't really have a parenting philosophy mapped out yet. We have general ideas of what we want to do. I want her to be smart and inquisitive so we read to her and let her explore. We expose her to different music and food and people. I don't want her to grow up only seeing the world in one way. I want her to be independent. Right now that's pretty hard because she's not even a year old. But say she's getting to the…

Of course I do. I'm a little shocked you don't, to be honest. I mean. If you don't know a single sane, honest women you're either meeting the wrong women or you're going into it with confirmation bias and are reading every single little sign as a proof of your correctness. It's like that saying if you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into them all day long, you're the asshole.

I'm not going to say that your wife's tantrum is legitimately warranted but pregnancy fucks with their hormones. My wife didn't get angry with our first (or the second) - thank you lord jesus - but with the first pregnancy she was weepy. All the time. Like. She's not an overly emotional person - she doesn't cry a whole lot. She put down her dog after it got cancer and she got misty. She loved that dog. But when she got about 6 months along if she'd, say, forget to put soap in the dishwasher she'…

Of all the best managers the ONLY great managers were women. Holy shit. The guys were total jackasses who were content to sit on their asses and let others scramble, didn't provide adequate direction or support, and then shuffled the blame when things went inevitably wrong. They were smart or well connected or happened in at the right time but lazy as fuck. I'm a manager now. I try to break that mold.

Probably tinder too. I was out of school a year in my early twenties between undergrad and a masters and that was the worst time to score women. Coming out of the college scene it was just a lot more difficult. College girls are fun and experimental and will totally go home from the bar with you. Bar girls I found were more skeptical. Also by the end of university people start to lock that shit down. 23's a weird age. You're too old for some girls because you've already graduated and aren't just…

Finance: If you mean getting a degree in finance? That's pretty garbage. Maybe become an account and get your CPA. But if you're trying to become some sort of banker or what not that takes connections, not to mention you'd have to be kissing a ton of ass as well. Yeah. I have a job in finance-ish. Not a CPA. Hedge funds. The trick is not to talk about what I do. Because most people find that boring as fuck. Finance isn't sexy the way that doctors performing emergency brain surgery is sexy. But w…

Don't have sex with crazy girls. Even if they're crazy hot. Seriously. Don't do it. Some women, yeah, might be secretly nutso but absolutely, positively, 100% DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH THE OPENLY CRAZY ONES.

Yeah, I'm more lean-fit too. I'd much rather be out running than bench pressing or curling or lifting. I like running. I like it. If I'm going to be out exercising, I want it to be something I enjoy and sweet jesus there is nothing I enjoy less than pumping iron. I do it once a week to keep myself from reverting in a stickman. My wife's into running too (we used to do marathons but I think she'll be taking a hiatus this year due to pregnancy) so it's something we can do together. But it leaves y…

They're not all that silly though. Innovation changes society. We live 3x longer than people did in the middle ages as a result of innovations and we can shift the goal posts. 100 years ago a fifth grade education was fine. Now, socially, it's unspeakable to drop out at 11. Our benchmarks move. A 38 year old and an 18 year old is gross and if I was that kid's dad I'd be fucking rageful.

This is unrelated, but I fucking hate the shit out of that excuse. What humans used to do in the past is such a bullshit way of excusing behaviour. Up until the past 70 or so years, hygiene and health care were crap, doesn't mean we should stop taking showers or seeing our doctor. Up until basically a hundred and fifty years ago you could own other human beings and beat them and shit. So maybe in 1850 it was cool for 40 year olds to marry teenage girls but lets not pretend that's a great precede…

Thanks. Yeah, it's definitely been a bit of a shock and very unexpected. She's got some milk in the freezer and we hope we can stretch that until her milk dries up (I'm surprised it hasn't already, to be honest) but we're probably going to have to alter our plans.

Her chronic undereating and overexcising throughout her pregnancy did almost result in a miscarriage. And it wouldn't have been debatable beforehand anyway. We are married, stable, two incomes, and can afford a second child. We were planning on having on in the future (or at least I was and she was 'open to it'). There's no way we'd have aborted regardless of how we found out. Redpillers also know better than unfounded and overreaching paranoia. Nobody likes 9/11 truthers. We don't want TRP to b…

Eh, I chose not to wear a condom. She was on the IUD before we got married. We decided to have a baby. She took it out. We had a baby. She was breastfeeding which reduces our chances and I was using pullout. Not perfect but we figured odds were decent we'd avoid it. She didn't 'trap' me. I mean. I'm already married to her, it's not like she got knocked up to illicit a proposal.

The original and first follow-up were made before I knew she was pregnant and were about how she couldn't lose weight after the baby. This was just continuity. Well, with the first pregnancy she had a lot of the classic signs. Cravings, sore boobs, no period, morning sickness. No periods and the sore breasts seemed normal for a woman who was breastfeeding. Had no cravings. No sickness. She didn't really show much with the first baby so I'm not surprised. She's only 3 months and she didn't show u…

Totally. And I have. For me it just helped me get a different perspective on what I needed to commit to a marriage. Before it was kind of like "when I love a girl enough". But realizing what comes with marriage, I realized I needed to be more proactive in selecting a partner who met my other needs too. In addition to just sexual compatability (and a relatively low but not virginal number of partners), I wanted a woman who was smart, interesting, family-minded BUT who was also a professional. I d…

22 isn't really the male prime. Your SMV is going to still climb considerably throughout your twenties - that's the steepest incline in my opinion. 25's still got a solid 5 post-wall years. I guess it's up to you. Enjoying the sex is only a good reason to keep a plate around. It's got to be more than that to elevate to an LTR. It's got to be so good you don't want to have sex with anyone else. It sounds like she's good material but you don't seem sold on the idea of settling down with her.
/r/askTRP14/05/14 08:52 PM

I'd wife-up. Powerful family, smart, networking potential, educated. Socially she sounds like she outranks you whereas sexually you outrank her. You're trading off lower SMV for better socio-political mobility. It's a trade-off I'd be willing to take in your position. At least until you're established. I dated a girl I wasn't all that into for two years during grad school. She was sweet - the kind of girl who'd bring you supper and coffee during an all-nighter. She wasn't bright or really great …

Talk about stuff you're passionate about. It gives you a chance to showcase you're not a complete moron and girls tend to get excited second hand. You're excited, they're excited. To a certain point. Like I'm not going to tell a woman about my love for the Habs if I can see her eyes rolling around the back of her head. But sometimes getting excited about things is enough to get them into your conversation. If I have to talk about nail polish colours or some bullshit I'm going to be boring. Strai…

Sounds like a terrible LTR. If you're committed to it, I'd say tell her straight up you're sick of her bullshit and you don't trust her - she says one thing but your bank statements say something else. You're the provider so it's your right to monitor your money especially with long term plans for a house. It's not okay that she's buying alcohol, lying about where she's going, or drinking alone. Tell her she's cut off alcohol when you're not there. Period. End of story. She goes to the bar with …

I admit - my alma mater got rid of all frats about a hundred years ago. Didn't limit my social circle or my value or life-long friendships or with girls. But I think living non-Greek is easier in universities that are also ... non-Greek. If I'd gone to a university with a real greek life maybe I'd have bothered. But that shit is weak in my country.

'Puts his son in the shower', unless he's disabled, I have no idea why you'd need to do that. His kid is in the second grade so he's, like, 6? Maybe 7? I'm a new dad so I don't have experience with 6 year olds but I think they sometimes need assistance. Shampoo in the eyes, forgetting behind the ears, etc. Getting them to actually bathe.

She's still breastfeeding and we're hoping that can continue up until the baby's about 12 months old. WHO recommendations and immunity and whatnot. And she does! She loves the mommy yoga classes - she's also super excited that she gets to introduce our daughter to exercise and flexibility nice and early. Your body is your temple and whatnot. And she gets to hang with other moms and babies. Not many of her friends have kids yet.

Haha. I was prepared for it - thank god - but I've definitely fucked up that trap before when it caught me off guard. My wife's generally pretty proactive about exercise - I just looked into them because it was suggested to me and I found some I thought would appeal to her. She's got lots on her plate with the baby so doing it for her wasn't a big deal. I printed off a monthly schedule and she's got it on the fridge now and has a couple highlighted that piqued her interest so I'm not concerned.

She's tracks calories but she can't drop too low in calorie count because she's still breastfeeding (and will be up to 12 months we hope). So it's important to stay at a certain intake or her milk supply will vanish and we'll be kind of fucked. I'm honestly not really worried about the weight loss until our daughter's totally weened. Looking at her calorie counting app thing she's at about 1600 calories a day and she's just not budging in terms of weight. I don't think it's reasonable to go down…

That's just not going to happen. I mean, I'm the one who got her fat by knocking her up. Makes sense that I'm not going to bail on her because after under a year she's not back to her pre-pregnancy weight. That's not RP, that's just asshole.

Well when they're having a hard time shredding pregnancy weight it calls for a bit of a more sweetheart approach. And she's also so conscious about the changes in her body - it wasn't something she's even remotely blind to. It troubles her far more than it does me. And by spank do you mean, over the knee spanking or are we talking about the little ass pats?

Yeah, that's definitely what I went for this weekend. Lots of admiration for her body - she put it through hell. Labour was single handedly the most amazing and fucking terrifying thing I've ever been a part of. And I'm definitely going to let her know that. I'm not really concerned about exercise (other than the fact that she does a substantial amount and hasn't lost any weight - wtf body, that's some weird shit right there). She loves exercise and always has. Before we got pregnant she was sup…

I find her attractive. She doesn't think she's attractive. And that makes her sad. Which isn't what I want. As a guy, I don't want to see my wife unhappy. And I certainly don't want her feeling so shite about her body that she's constantly trying to hide up when we have sex. So my plan of attack was to give her plenty of attention - something we haven't done a lot of since the baby - and let her know I still like her body even if she doesn't. And then to also support her in her weight loss goals…

Actually it's one of the things that didn't change all that much with my wife. She had a really easy birth though - a total champ. Didn't even need stitches. Our daughter was kind of small though - which I hear does affect what goes down. The first time we had sex was maybe four weeks after and she wasn't as tight as before but it wasn't that noticeable. And by two months after birth it was pretty much back to normal. Wife's super flexy though. She's a yoga nut. I think it probably helped. All a…

I hadn't really thought about it but I'd guess he's kind of RP. He's a guys guys and people either fear him or love him but there ain't nobody that disrespects him. He's got some beta in him (he puts up with my ma cooking some of the earth's worst food - seriously the woman's casseroles could be labelled toxic waste without batting an eye) but even as kids it was always "ask your father". All big decisions got run by dad first. I have zero idea of what their courtship was like. They met because …

I really don't think I should encourage my wife to fast while breastfeeding because if her supply dries up our kid's going to be a bit fucked. Maybe in 5 more months.

The problem is she's not comfortable and it's kind of upsetting. I don't like to see her so miserable but she's really down about her body. I don't think she's unhealthy - especially since she's breastfeeding - but I want her to either get accustomed to being a bit larger than she was before we had our kid or to get it in high gear and lose the weight because it's just making her sad. and I miss her tits. Seriously maternity bras are the worst.

We're at a mixed stage but she's still breastfeeding at least once a day.

I think she was just expecting the baby weight to just disappear afterwards because, you know, that's the way her body has always been. Running and yoga and a pretty good diet have always kept her lean and tight and now it's doing nothing for her. And a baby obviously equal some added stress. She's definitely gotten a lot more anxious in the last 7 months. To be honest she could probably use a massage. Maybe I'll set her up on a spa date for her birthday.

A trainer might not be a bad idea. Her yoga's pretty intense and makes her pretty bendy which I have to admit is fantastic. I went to a session with her to see what it was about and even though I'm in great shape that shit was fucking brutal. I think part of our problem is we've always been super active - our second date was playing volleyball, we've run some marathons. She's never had to really think about exercise because it's something we do for health and fun not to look good. So she's never…

Honestly, I couldn't envision nexting her. I remember when I thought about proposing - I was dead set against marriage before her and held out pretty admirably for many years - I asked myself would I still lover her in 10 years? 20 years? If she gained 100 pounds? If she got hideously ugly? Would I run into a burning building for her? And no matter what the answer is always yes because she's it for me. And I don't want to be away from my baby girl. I didn't get why people stayed together for the…

She's already weighing out food and using the livestrong exercise/calorie tracker app. She's definitely eating less than she's expending - I think the app's set to 1400 calories a day. The thing is she's pretty well versed with fitness and health because it's her job and she's always been really into running and sports and she loves yoga. Before she was pregnant she did it every single day. We're active people so exercise isn't an issue in terms of getting her to do it. Her body just isn't respo…

She'll never go for red meat. I think she'd actually divorce me rather than have to actually eat a steak. She hates everything about red meat. Taste, smell, texture. I'm pretty supportive right now but fuck if it's getting anywhere. She's not losing weight or getting more used to being chubby. We're go for family runs. I could get her to push the stroller instead for some added exercise. It's just super weird. She does even more exercise than she did before the baby and her body's like 'fuck that'. Maybe keto would kick her system back into gear. The starvation mode is possible. I do kind of worry if she's eating enough or if our meals are too far apart.
/r/askTRP23/04/14 01:30 AM

The fruit she eats is pretty reasonable - usually a grapefruit with breakfast or half an apple or a few blueberries when she's pureeing the baby's food. She's a nurse and really into nutrition. It's totally baffling why her body isn't responding to the exercise and diet to be honest.
