Oh that is so cool! My kids are close in age too and I hope it makes them best friends for life! I hope everything goes smoothly for you and the baby when he comes:)

I know you asked for a book but I'm going to suggest this documentary on Netflix called Babies. It follows four pregnant women in different parts of the world about to give birth and then follows the babies for the first year. I am so grateful that I watched it with my toddler when I was pregnant because it helped her understand that there a living thing in my stomach and it's going to come out and be apart of our family, instead of it being an abstract concept. It quickly became her favorite mo…

They are these squirrels in her backyard that she feeds peanuts to! I'm so jealous

I watched the first video about what they eat in a day and I thought it was very awesome how she takes care of her husband and makes him different food then her. I also am incredibly jealous of the fact that she has "pet" squirrels! How cool is that! They took the peanut right out of her hand!

I think this is a fun idea! Edit: I guess I should explain say why I think it's good idea haha! Often times I see posts and write out comments and then I discard them, thinking these random people who I don't know and don't know me don't care what I have to say. With something like Facebook I would be able to build up more of connection and engage more with people. It wouldn't feel like a throw away conversation.

I would love to do this! I have been using Fitbit and my fitness pal to track food, steps and log pictures.

What sunscreen do you ladies use on your face? I have been switching between a baby organic one that is SPF 50 and a Loreal one that is 100 SPF. I recently read an article that states most sunscreen doesn't protect as much as it says on the label so do you reapply through the day?

I'm not 100% sure how to add pictures to comments but I think a lot of feminine fashion has to do with deliberate but "dainty" touches. Adding jewelry, layering, cuffing your pants, scarves, and belts all tie your outfit together and elevate it from haphazardly thrown together to polished and put together. It doesn't all have to be pink either haha!

I have had immense problems when it comes to birth control! I originally started taking it in middle school because of my long, heavy, irregular periods and even at 13ish I could tell how much my body felt off. I always felt bloated and like I had a stomach ache and was woozy. Thankfully I only needed it for a few months to regulate my hormones. Fast forwarding in life I have tried two different kinds of birth controls, the nuva ring, and the mini pill. It's all been hell. I have gotten fevers, …

When I was pregnant I was so emotional about food! It was as if we didn't have a full pantry and fridge of other things to eat! Once I accidentally dropped my pizza when I was pregnant and my anger sharks shifted into maximum override and I threw my plate against the wall and started crying! Looking back it was so embarrassing!

You should try JCPennys! I had a coupon for there and I ended up getting a white pair that had flowers on it. They surprisingly had a wide selection and were pretty cheap!

You guys are rock stars! Do you feel like because they have such different parenting philosophies at each house that they go wild at their moms and when they come back to your house are more disobedient?

Wow I'm impressed that you guys don't watch tv! We try to only watch kid friendly shows while she is awake! Listening to electronic is a great idea since there isn't anything inappropriate messages or surprises! Do you ever worry it will lead your kids to finding other inappropriate dub step artists like Borgore or go to raves?

I have been running into this same problem lately! As much as I love the beats and catchiness of today's music it's lyrics and messages are trash. I would not encourage my daughter to act like a hoe so why do I listen to music that does? So my solution is to just listen to oldies around her and in the car we listen to books on tape like American girl dolls and the hardy boys, even though my daughter isn't even two yet haha. You have to start setting good examples young!

Right now I regularly watch Jaclyn Hills YouTube videos and Zabrena's YouTube videos. I really like Zabrena's because she does frugal Friday and lots of dupe videos so I don't end up spending a ton on makeup I end up never using. I love the way Jaclyn's makeup looks it's so flawless and blending beautifully but sometimes I feel discouraged because I'll never spend $100s on a Marc Jacobs lipgloss, so the pressure to buy is definitely there! I would love to hear hair styling channels you ladies wa…

My guy and I were just talking last night about how prevalent "adult children" are today and I definitely think that this is overlapping. No one wants to take any responsibility for the lives or actions so it's better to live in denial. They know at some level deep in their conscience that sleeping around in their 20s, never settling down, making poor financial decisions, weighing a ton, etc are not a good idea for the long turn but it's easy. It's harder to do what's right. But if someone stand…

I can definitely see how it could become a hinderance for your relationship, if you develop an addiction or find that it's easier to do it yourself then have to make the effort with him. I only use it if I'm 100% not in the mood but I know he is, so use it but it's not the "main event."

My mom was a cleaning-nazi right before we left on trips too! Once she told me I would miss out on Disneyland if I didn't finish cleaning my room so I stayed up almost all night cleaning! It's totally worth it though!

I am a total workout novice but YouTube has been my best friend recently! There are tons of different videos for all types of endurance a levels. Lately I have been loving Fitness Blender and more specifically their 100 squat challenge. Even if it's just 20 mins a day of their squat and ab workout I definitely feel the burn the next day.

This one is a pretty old movie but it's definitely a classic; Swiss Family Robinson! I think the relationship between the mother and father shows that she trusts him, follows his leadership, and she supports him, in turn his actions show he is continually thinking of her happiness. When they discover that they are shipwrecked the father jumps into action and the wife follows instead of having a meltdown. The father builds a real house for his family, even if it's in a tree, while the wife makes …

You are so right! She probably has watched one two many chick flicks and idolized the group of unrealistic friends who are codependent. She should be appreciative of finding her husband and getting to experience life with him. My family also has stunning group chat! I love it:)

Well honestly it kind of depends when I run it by him! Sometimes I'll just be like hey I'm working on the meal plan do you want anything and then I'll keep what he wants in mind while making it or other times it's at the end. It's pretty easy if you plan it around sale because you know you're gonna be having chicken since its on sale, that way you don't have to come up with everything in your own! :)

This is what I do when it comes to meal planning and grocery shopping. I take out my notebook and I go online to pricematcherz.com (or any other like website) which lays out all of the best deals and sales on food for the week and I make a list of everything I think we may want or like. For example I would write down that Kroger has goldfish on sale for .99 and Aldi has chicken thighs on sale for .49 an lb. Afterwards I got to Pinterest, my cookbooks, or to the slow cooking subreddit, you may wa…

I definitely think the best is how easy dating my guy is, I have never felt so comfortable being my goofy self and letting him see the real me! I never really clicked with any guy before and I never had a long lasting relationship before him. It's amazing having someone love everything about your personality that most people don't see! Plus I love seeing his little quirks most people don't have the privilege of seeing either! Looking back the bad is definitely how I acted sometimes! I was so unc…

Last night my man thanked me for being supportive which meant a lot more to me then he knows because I feel like lately I have been failing at RPW. We aren't in our ideal situation right now since we have had to move back home while he goes back to school soon and works so the situation really brings me down and I feel like most times I drag him down too. The good: Lately I have been trying to stretch our grocery budget while still making meals my guy will love, and I feel like I finally accomplished that for this week. I put a lot of time and effort into meal planning and couponing/deal searching yesterday which will continue to pay off throughout the week! -Blackberries finally went on sale so I was able to try a new cobbler recipe that I have been waiting forever to make! I have been with my SO for almost three years an we have a child together. I found this sub about a week ago while looking for meal plan ideas. I love that this is a place were women can better themselves and also their relationships.
