Christmas!!!! I love Christmas so much. I'm that giddy lady running around telling my family and friends "it's __ days til Christmas!" By the way ladies, it's 42 days til Christmas!! :)

I started an advent calendar tradition a couple years ago with hubby that uses sexy-time items as the surprise. I put up these tiny little stockings in the shape of a Christmas tree on the wall of our bedroom and stuff them with things like lingerie, toys, lube, and little pieces of cute paper that suggest an activity. He really likes it, and he likes the fact that I put the effort into finding the tiny little items that we would both enjoy.

Just bought my man this watch.

It's a homage to the Rolex Submariner, but for literally 1/50th of the price. I'm a 22-year-old broke graduate student and can't really afford the real McCoy, but I spent a few hours searching reviews and videos on Amazon, Youtube, and various watch connoisseur blogs, and it's an extremely solid and attractive choice from what I can see.

My boyfriend currently wears a leather-strap Fossil everyday and I know he would definitely enjoy a new watch, so I hope he likes this one.

We're in an LDR (that will no longer be long distance in about five months, woot woot!) and he's coming to visit me for a week over Christmas break. I can't wait. I'm planning on making him all his favourite foods from scratch, plus I'm pretty much going to exclusively wear lingerie when we're home alone together, which is a nice gift in and of itself...

I'M SO EXCITED! I came from a family that was pretty most wonderful time of the year growing up. I'm trying to resist decorating because SO's birthday is between now and Christmas. He is an absolute bear to shop for. He'd mentioned wanting a watch, even though he won't wear it often, and I was thinking I could engrave that. Now the challenge is finding a watch, in budget, that has an engrave-able back, that's stylish, that he'd want to wear. And figuring out what to write on it. Any tips? He'd mentioned liking Shinola watches when I was flipping through a catalogue, but those are a little more than I wanted to spend. He also has a favorite scotch that's fairly expensive that I was considering.

My gift usually comes in the form of unique cooking. It is a lot of work but if you have a full freazer and good health you can do a cookbook advent Calender. I love cooking and I am quite good at it. The gift is just in the work. This year being harder since I start a job on the 23rd...

I keep a running list through the year of things I notice that would either solve some problem in his life or add luxury/comfort that he normally wouldn't spend on. So, this year, a good travel jacket, a new guitar case, and a super nice electric razor.

Last year I did this whole 12 days of Christmas gifts leading up to Christmas day with different themes and wrapping and notes and I think it kind of overwhelmed him haha. So, sticking to the basics this time ;)

I'm going to stay with my boyfriend and his parents for Christmas. I've bought him two computer games that are on his wishlist (The Talos Principle and Besieged), and I'm planning to additionally get him christmas-themed candy and chocolate from the Harry Potter theme park in Universal Studios, because he's also a Harry Potter fan like me. His parents are getting a tea set because they drink lots of tea (the tea has whole flowers in it, it looks so pretty, lol).

For his birthday a few days later, he gets a peanut butter dark chocolate mix and a tin of Illy coffee beans, since he drinks coffee every morning and snacks on peanut butter and chocolate pretty often.

I love Christmasssss! It's my favorite time of the year! It's our first Christmas in our new house and our first Christmas wherein we get to celebrate exactly the way we want to. So, I want to start a bunch of new traditions and just have a really fun time.

For the husband, I have purchased his favorite whiskey Writer's Tears, and we are getting each other Christmas ornaments! I actually made his ornament (looks something like this ). He's getting me a new dryer for my birthday (Christmas Eve baby!), an ornament for Christmas, and a "surprise"!

He asked for a Dremel and I usually add a small surprise each year. Last year he wanted a new drill and I added a cover for his hatchet. One year I surprised him with a beer brewing kit and he loved it.

SO sometimes reads my Reddit comments, so I won't give away any secrets. :) I just had to say that I love your idea! It's sometimes difficult to get him presents because he likes to pick his own electronics - and electronics are his favorite thing. Usually I figure something out! I keep a little hidden list of present ideas year round and add to it as I think of things.

I'm getting him a new playstation :) No surprises unfortunately, it's what he wants, and it's kind of expensive (at least to me, I don't like Christmas to be a big, stressful expense) so that's all I'll get.. Am I being too stingy? Maybe I will get him another small thing to go with it.

We're both so contrarian and anti-holiday-obligation that I cringed upon seeing this topic, lol. You ladies have some wonderful ideas, though!!

We aren't doing the whole present thing, but since his son is with his mom for 48 whole hours, we'll be driving to a neighboring state where weed is legal, renting a cabin in the snow, and soaking in the hot tub and getting high as hell (this is not a normal occurrence!). We're both used to working so hard that this will be the perfect holiday!

Wear a skimpy santa outfit. One that has a short skirt showing off your thighs and a top that exposes your belly. Then wrap your hands and arms and whatever in pink ribbon. Make it clear to him that you are his present to unwrap. Proceed to have sexy times.
