Yeah, I'm trying to but it's not easy. The thing is he called me to ask for advice on how to get with her, and I don't want to have to be competing with one of my best friends for this girl. I've even talked to this guy about trying to get back with her recently so I have no idea why he'd call me about it, the whole thing just rubbed me the wrong way. I know she has zero obligation towards me I'm just acting like an afc I guess

This definitely makes a lot of sense. Well I made out with her just about every time I hung out with her it just never got further than that. It was kind of complicated and we didn't really have any privacy ever, I mean I realize I should have and probably could have pushed it further than that but it never happened.

are you saying I should have responded angrily or something? Honestly I had already moved on from this chick and didn't ever expect to hear from her again, so my response was actually pretty honest to how I was feeling. I also think getting reactive and being aggressive or whatever would just show her how much she got to me, which would give her more power. alright well I texted her and she responded about 3 hours later saying "hey [name]! sorry i just got off work and I would but I have a final Friday..I'm not looking to it." so I told her if she wasn't too busy studying this weekend she should come out with me, to which she responded "well I'm going out Friday and Saturday for two different friends bdays lol but I'll let you know where we go and if your dt we'll try to meet up." Thanks for the thorough advice I really appreciate it. About the texting, she was definitely the one to initiate it. I tried to avoid texting too much but for the first couple weeks she would basically always text me first and then ask me random questions and shit to keep conversation going. In retrospect I should have not been so available , it just kind of threw me off how much she tried to continue the texting. I'll definitely take your advice and text her in a few days and see if she'll hang…
