The last date I went on we grabbed some bombass food, and afterwards I proposed we grab some drinks afterwards at this bar I like down the street that she had never gone to. She obliged. Indicatacion number 1. We both went to the bathroom after eating, and I tried to put my arm around her to guide her towards the exit. While I was doing this I noticed that she put her hand out as if to hold my hand as we walk there. Knowing this, I immediately step outside and we hold hands while walking to our …

I was literally the most popular person in my high school. Didn't help me get laid. I was a virgin all of high school, and never had a girlfriend. I fell hard for a couple of girls and dated one for the summer before she went off to college (she was a year older than me). I learned a lot, but in terms of actually getting a girl it made no difference. College was a different story, but that was my high school experience.

You know I think it's kind of interesting. I feel like a decent amount of us have dated people that have self harmed / have BPD. With my experience, I found that one ex of mine to be extremely empathetic despite her flaws. Do you think that it also says a bit about ourselves, and our desire to be loved? I mean the fact that we're on this subreddit kind of speaks that we are here learning and discussing things about attraction. After writing it down, I realized it's super hard for me to explain, …

Mostly getting to know the other person - build some rapport and common ground so that we can just kinda laugh and vibe. The about halfway through the date I begin escalating and then go from there

First of all, next time just use Yelp when you're setting up a date. All you should be asking is where she lives, and then MAYBE ask her, "Do you prefer X food or Y food." Or say that, "I love Z food so let's go here." But after that, if she's still willing to make time for you, it sounds fine, especially if she offered drinks

Focus on school, but not on work. A job at 19 is usually complete shit, especially if you don't have your degree yet. You need to build a collection of experiences in order to grow as a person. Understanding social Dynamics is one of the most important skills you can have, ESPECIALLY if your in a stem field like myself. You will stick out like a sore thumb. The problem is that in order to understand social Dynamics, you need to experience them. Your collection of college experiences will help tr…

I think one of the best ways to do so is to think about yourself in a highly critical perspective. Are you as educated as you want to be? Does your free time consist of activities that you enjoy doing and can show improvement over time with? Are you extroverted or introverted? Do you wish that you could become either more extroverted or more introverted? Are you the man / woman that you want to become? What are the types of people that you surround yourself with? Do they also have hobbies? Can y…

Tinder is a billion dollar company, their matching algo is probably more complicated than any of us expect. For my personal experience with tinder, when I am going through phases where I am just "browsing" for a few months, I start to match with people that don't respond as much. Once I re-enter a phase of actually messaging people, I start to get matches that actually respond and try to go on dates with me. My guess is that Tinder has some sort of "response rating" that they use when determinin…

Personally I have always thought as hobbies to be more of a "multiplier" for people and attraction. For example, as an engineer, back in college, if I would pop the "I'm an engineer" before they thought I was attractive, it wouldn't go too well. But after I had already built up that SMV, and THEN I drop the engineering bomb, it tends to go much better. I feel like this concept applies to most other hobbies as well. If a girl already found me attractive, and THEN finds out I have cats or play gui…

It's too late to do this with this date, but from experience when setting up a Tinder date with someone and the calendar date is far off, over Tinder I will say, "We will eat this type of food on this day tentatively around this time, however regarding exact location and time I will tell you later on this week. #️⃣?" Then I bridge the gap from like 5 days of no texting to 2-3 days of no texting with my setting up the date in that mid-point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
