Thanks for posting this since it's quite interesting. Here I go: 1) Being random - I can't keep track on this since I tend to do it either frequently or ocassionaly when I am with friends. A bunch of examples would be 1) turning conversation 180 degrees by saying something else that would puzzle people a bit and then start laughing of how random that was 2) making random remarks around me and when I am in a group, my recent remark was about a joke I was trying to make and then when it failed I j…

What about other places? I guess your first example was when you just started. What about approaching people on the mall floors where people walk? It's just if i do practice with employees, i don't want to give impression that i am a creep and get banned or worse lol.

Thanks for your explanation! Appreciated! My situtation is that I believe I am very confident to make a small talk wtih people I just happen that i need to interact with (i.e. baristas and people who sit near me on the train). Therefore, I manage to make conversations in these environments because I feel very awkward if I don't do so. For cold approaching, it is 'kinda' new to me, but the way I was tacking was by starting asking simple questions like what time it is or where the place is. Then t…

Hi, I like your post! Regarding the fact that you should work on yourself is very true since I am trying to cut down on an addiction and managed to last 11 days to feel higher confidence and self-esteem levels. I am just curious, can you talk about processes of approaching girls on a daily basis to build confidence?

Yes I did and still feeling it like that. It's just I am trying to fight with my primitive brain that I haven't done anything wrong or anything happened to me at all.

Let me guess, it was the former since I decided for the sake of motive of approaching is to go through fear. Isn't that right?

Thanks for opinion and advice, it's just I keep telling myself how cringey it went. But jesus, I managed to stay for that long in a group of unknowing people for the first time in my life ever.

Ok other than arguing about choice of words, what do you think about what happened?

Ehhhh, Mystery wasn't into robotics, he was into magic and performing. However, it does not matter what background you are, what matters is the process you have to go through.

Decided to use jargon. I wanted to talk to them, like directly, but I failed. But at least I learnt something in the process.

Hmmmm, I did read somewhere that's possible to change the perspective so that it's possible to think of negative anxiety into excitement. I am gonna have a look on the net to see what kind of practice can be used. Can you recommend anything to read on this particular subject? If you remember of course.

Would you say it's possible to achieve complete confidence like 95% of the time you sarge? It's just I don't know how I would measure mine confidence in order to know whether I am ready for going out or not. So that's why I started to go from scratch and try to iron out issues before learning the game properly.

If you want to overcome the social anxiety, you need to get our of your comfort zone. In my case part of the anxiety is approaching new people I don't know, so I force myself to meet strangers on the streets and try to have conversation with them. Initially it's very scary approach, because I was afraid to f**k up myself when saying something, but overtime I developed some confidence, self-worth and of course practising my confidence in SPEAKING UP and own it rather than speaking something and t…

Thanks dude, I have been practicing to approach strangers to get rid of AA, and I am making progress, but I swear I did few things just like you mentioned in your post. Somehow I just managed to bottle few opportunities given I wasn't aware of what I was supposed to do next lol/

i am very new to game and i have been practicing to battle approach anxiety for the last year and a half. but before all that i had to figure what i wanted to do in life and as it happens i now work for a huge corporation with a job that i love to do everyday since its my hobby. get a book called 12 rules of life by jordan peterson, read it, sort yourself out and it will help to build yourself respect and energy that can help you to be happy and be better at game since you managed to achieve som…

yeah thank you! Unfortunately i got mild tinnitus tok so that's why i try to protect my hearing at all costs. But I still felt that i struggled to converse with people even with earplugs. i heard there's technique for making people hear you by putting your thumb in inner ear and somehow they manage to listen in very loud noise.

Yeah, but i am wearing silicon custom ones with a whole shell, that takes most of my intenal ear anyway, and it's not brightly coloured too and it's easy to take off and put on. but i take it they don't look attractive at all? What ig i could look very confident?
