What does your lawyer say??

You‘re welcome. I just know how it feels, being married to that woman for years. You think you know her and why should you not be able to work through that divorce, she‘s a reasonable woman. Then she turns into a whole new person overnight and ruins your life and take your kids and savings and you are not allowed to talk to her in person anymore. I do not say every woman is like that, I truly believe most woman are reasonable, but you never know and I do not wish something like that happening to…

Just get a lawyer, I was like you. I thought I knew my wife. I did not have a lawyer in the beginning, she had one. I realized that it would have been better to get a lawyer from minute one, when I found myself in jail for a few nights because of her. To sum it up, it was a expensive mistake and it did cost me my whole retirement savings, so please stop calculating what if and when and just get a lawyer today and not tomorrow.

I feel you! My ex did the same to me. Without any sign of violence or aggression she called the police. I was out of the house not allowed to visit my kids anymore. Unfortunately I did not manage to stay calm and I showed up there and I was yelling and she recorded everything and called the cops again. That happened twice, so the idiot I was back in those days I was fully playing my part in her plan. In the end she got full custody as the judge was acting biased because of this story. Please sta…

I‘ll send you a message in chat regarding the state. No we got together after she finished high school, I already had my first degree and was earning good money for a young guy. She has never worked in her life. Kids weren’t allowed to live with me. I was allowed to visit them twice a month and it is was her decision if she supervises or not. It got less strict as they got older (2 of them are already adults so rules of course don‘t apply) The relationship to my children gets better since the ol…

The financial ruin is already there. I have absolutely no savings despite a private retirement fund. All my other savings are for the children (who I feel responsible for in contrast to the ex monster, who has to have full custody according to the judge because I am not suitable for that) But you are right, I‘ll try to make the best out of my situation!!

I am trying this for years now, without success, she isn‘t able to get into the work life because of her health problems she experienced strangely enough since the time we negotiated her maintenance. Nevertheless I will give it a last try when all the children are out of her house. Thanks for your participation

Thanks for your participation. Worst case scenario, that should be her second name. My paycheck and my lifestyle have absolutely nothing to do with each other, it‘s pure madness I could tell you stories you wouldn’t believe. She hasn‘t worked a minute in her life, she lives in a house, nice car, vacations, luxury items, living the dream while not saving a penny for our kids. Me living in a condo, average car, no vacations, saving for college, retirement and start of working life of our children …

In my case it is an infinite alimony. She played some bad tricks on me in our process of divorce, took the kids away from me for 18 months straight, put a PFA on me, made that permanent. I couldn‘t take that any longer, was desperate tried so see my kids, she called the cops told them I was threatening her, trying to kidnap the kids I was in serious troubles. I had to work with her to even get a visitation right back in this process she got a notarized document (without that she would have taken…

It was definitely a big mistake letting her stay at home, I would never have thought that she would be able to do things like that. She was a really loving and caring person but after time we were just living side by side instead of together so I initiated the divorce and this was when she started to show her real face. Unfortunately I got it too late and she had already brought me in serious troubles. She was a stay at home mom before, no knowledge in law or negotiations whatsoever. She wasn’t …

You are right and I know that, but I love my kids and just because their mum isn‘t responsible enough to provide them with enough funds for their education, transport etc. I can‘t watch and seeing them growing up without them. I know alimony is technically hers and child support should technically be used for the kids, I tried a lot but in the end she‘s the one who is allowed to decide what to do with my money which is just a cheek but there‘s nothing I can do about it. Also she’s a dirty player…

Exactly there should be proof but she can do whatever she wants with it. I already talked with my lawyer about that, but there is no chance to do anything about that. She really gets a lot of child support on top of high infinite alimony (which unfortunately still exists where I live). She hasn’t saved a penny for college or to help our kids with a car, appartement or anything like that. I am paid for college of the oldest and paying for college for out younger son. There will be the same proced…

I am definitely ready, it was such a hard time I paid about 2x my before tax income to her for 13 months. It took that long to get my claim through. It ruins someone financially but also mentally, seeing that you aren‘t even allowed to keep a penny of the money you earn but you also have to give her your savings left after she got a lot of them anyway while splitting assets. While she‘s just living her normal life having fun. Good that you kept strong and finally looking on yourself first! Do no…

They definitely doing more than just keeping her out of the wellfare system, they keeping her way above that. She get‘s child support + maintenance for lifetime (way too much)and I paid child support for 4 in the beginning and now for 2 children. Knowing that she doesn‘t have a other income than these payments and seeing her treating herself with jewelry, bags and this kind of stuff regularly while I still buying most of the stuff for the kids anyway when I having visitation, I can say that the …

You name it! No doubt that it will go really quickly to increase them. No way that it will take 13 month like last time. I was paying more than 2 times of my monthly income to her for that period of time and I never got a fu**** penny back. She does not have a income, she‘s living of her alimony and child support. First time when it got calculated they set her income to 0$. (We married young and she doesn‘t have a degree). When it got reduced last time her income for the calculation was set to s…
