My location and first name probably.. yeah.. In this modern digital age, we could find someone with a quick google search. I mean, I googled my first and you see linkedin searches as well as old photos linked to social media :o have to be mindful with what you post online. We leave more digital footprints than we’d like..

You’ve listed reasons as to why you should dump him. He’s not worth your time, energy and effort sis. Dump, block, and delete would be the first step. Then you focus on your hobbies, goals, and interests.

Is it the same level of maturity now? Clearly he’s porn-addicted and not satisfying your needs. You’ve got your answer.

‘You cook and you can make great puns?? How are you still single??’ as he puts in no effort to pursue you but has the audacity to ask how you’re still single lol

Yep, this is why it’s so hard to trust men these days.

His intentions are clear as sky. He doesn’t want anything sexual with you and if it comes to that point, he’ll take what he can get. You’ve already developed feelings for him and when that time comes, he’s gonna try to reel you in and do a bait and switch.

By nature, I’m a giving, caring, friendly, and supportive person. It’s who I am and I always will be. For friends, family, and person of interest. I realized my recent person of interest has high quality traits but is a low quality person. Realized he’s inconsistent so I stopped entertaining him and purposely avoid initiating contact with him. What does he do a few days later? Messages me. What does he do when I post something on my story about me enjoying my night having a glass of wine and mov…

You’re exactly right. It’s more challenging to discern this when you start off as friends who share similar interests then become interested in each other. After building some connection, you start noticing the inconsistencies and lack of quality they display. Nexting him is the right choice.

I totally agree with you. It’s just like the saying “love yourself 100% before you can love anyone else.” That applies to your family, kids, friends, animals, and/or significant other. If you’re unable to care for yourself, then how would it make sense for you to care for another human being and/or animal? I come from an asian household and I was taught that my parents’ and elders’ needs were more important than mine. Whatever I did, I had to do it for the sake of their needs. Every choice I had…

I’m mid 20s and I said ‘I need a man to match me. Not going to settle for anyone, let alone anything.’ His response was ‘look at you 💪’. Damn right. Lol

I finished it. I cringed in every episode but it taught me a lot about the realities of dating (even though dramatized). The amount of low quality behaviors made me 🤮 Goes to show that working on yourself 100% is the remedy. You know your worth and leave people, things, and situations that add no value to your life. It was an entertaining show that taught and exemplified what NOT to do, act, and behave like.

With practice you’ll get better at redirecting the sexual energy! Just with anything, it’s hard and difficult but you got this!!

The concern isn’t about your male best friend. It’s about your insecure boyfriend. If you’ve clearly defined that your male best friend is just that, a male best friend, him telling you to drop your male best friend is disrespectful. That means he doesn’t trust your words. Now, actions is the other thing. If you’re keeping it platonic, that’s you respecting your boyfriend and the relationship. He cannot control your friend’s actions, but he thinks he can with you. There’s a difference with expre…

Focusing on my work, hobbies, and a million other things on my list. Keeping myself busy and re-directing the sexual energy to other activities. I’m very sexual in nature and Ive basically trained myself to resist the urges haha. Been celibate since October 😂

You called him out, and either he’s going to shape up or not. He didn’t. It’s not always easy calling people out because you don’t know what their response will be. In this case, his response was a response and he did you a favor. Now you can move on and forget about him!

You are not being paranoid. You feel uncomfortable for a reason. Trust your gut instincts telling you that there’s clearly something wrong with him asking you these types of questions about your younger sister. He seems like a creep and is not HV! Yes! Block and delete!

For future vetting, you could ask them straight up when their last relationship was.

I’ve been in a similar situation before about dealing with an ex who chose to go out drinking with his friends every weekend (with/without me). This obviously caused rifts in our relationship at the time. However, I learned some things: Feeling uncomfortable about his drinking behaviors is a clear indicator that he’s crossed a boundary. I’d bring up the discomfort and let him know how you feel about it. How he chooses to respond will show you his interests and priorities. There’s an incentive fo…
