You don't get mad. You just go and have a blast (or pretend to have a blast) without her. It should look like it's completely seamless, oh you're slightly disappointed she can't make it, but hey, you have other plans/friends and it's not going to put a dent into how great your night is.

Why are you texting? Ask her the fuck out.

Something tells me that people out of high school aren't generally too comfortable making out in the back of the movie theater... It's called being mature or some shit.

Do something more fun than a movie... I've never really had a good experience that revolved around sitting next to the girl staring at a huge screen for 2 hours. All attention should be on me. JK but you can't really escalate properly in a movie theater. Just saying... I'm still learning too.

Yeah if you can laugh it off it's no big deal. Agree and escalate? haha

I don't think it particularly matters but I personally believe that being tagged in a lot of photos that aren't your own provides social proof.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here buddy. Also I didn't really see any negging in the examples you posted. I had trouble understanding the motive and definition of negging for a while. Recently I've realized that I've just been teasing a little, not actually negging. http://www.sosuave.com/articles/neghits.htm

It is not really that big of a loss either way. I would move on since it doesn't seem like you guys connected on a level... I think you made a mistake by asking her to do something with you without any reference to the previous encounter.

I'm sure you've seen this post before. But these are two mp3's featuring David Wygant. I listened to it again recently, (just like you I commute) and it's definitely a different perspective between using it as a primer which I did 7 or 8 months ago, versus now, where you start to grasp the innergame mentality a little more. Definitely more helpful to give it another listen. http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/cl8a1/to_the_introverts_nice_guys_afcs_new_to_pickup/

Oh don't get me wrong, I appreciate all of this definitely. I'm very new to this stuff still, since I had two long term relationships throughout high school and nothing really formulated in college so far. I'm still working on self-confidence issues and achieving the inner game mindset. I'm naturally a shy-guy so I guess it didn't even occur to me that a k-open was an option really. Haha I guess it's saying something when one of my friends suggested I have a few beers beforehand since I'm a "ver…

Hmm thanks I appreciate the clarification. And yeah, I only brought up the compliment once while we were eating lunch and that was it. I definitely know what you mean about the whole date thing, I think that's why I was a little more at ease once I realized that she's not relationship material persay (in case you're wondering why, she's a blast and she parties as hard as I do... but that would probably translate to worrying when I'm 2000 miles away hah, it's just not fair for either of us). I'll…

Okay now I’m just plain confused haha. I’ve seen your posts on here before and I definitely agree with a lot of notions, but everyone else is suggesting that I nearly crashed and burned on this while you make it sound like it was rocky but not THAT bad… What do you think about what everyone else is saying? And yeah I agree with my misuse of the “negs” upon revisiting the definition, you’re right when you guessed it was more like teasing. Also, she’s going on a trip for a week or two with her fam…

Well I've read over a lot of material (but maybe that's not a good thing) I know one I tend to look back at pretty often is the stuff from Pook, and I've been listening to David Wygant and David DeAngelo on the whole confidence and body language thing... Other than that it's a lot of seddit/reddit generated stuff, like r/innergame and r/mansformation. It's funny how a lot of people stress the whole abundance mentality thing as a way to get by overanalyzing or worrying about the outcome of an int…

Hmm. How heavily should I be pursuing this? I remember reading the friendzone post about cutting off contact for a little while and then setting something up? I need to do this more often... Oh and by hooked up I mean 3rd base?

Could you expand a little more on the outcome dependent thing? I know the general idea is to just “do you” and not do something hoping for a particular outcome. But I’m guessing that comes as you start becoming more self-confident? Thanks for the response by the way, it’s good to see that I’m grossly misinterpreting what I’m reading so I can fix it.

No no, I definitely appreciate the input and I see what you mean. I think one of my biggest problems (other than self-confidence, which fluctuates wildly depending on what situation I'm in) is that I guess I haven't seen this first hand? I mean I read about it and all but I haven't been able to internalize it to where it's natural rather than forced? Even after "studying" for nearly a year. Where do you suggest I go from here though? And yeah in hindsight the drunk thing wasn't very clutch... no…

Hmm you make a very interesting point. I'm definitely still working on this stuff, I think I'm still at the stage where I'm happy that I have something to be confident about... versus just knowing that I'm confident and being content with it. Baby steps. But thank you.

I'm not entirely sure if "Feelin' great this morning, ready to take on the world." counts as bragging necessarily... But, duly noted.

Hm thanks for the note, I'll be sure to pay attention to how I act... On a related note though, what's the difference in mentality between arrogant/confident/cocky? I've definitely read a couple of posts claiming that you should just "fake it till you make it."

fake it till you make it. or have a more powerful personality.

3) I took a confidence dip when a few friends of mine just basically laughed in my face when I showed up. I'm an introverted engineer, I don't do these things. yo, it doesn't fucking matter if they laugh at you. you determine your own reality. if anything you are a better person because you know your priorities. obviously school is more important, you know when you gotta focus and when you can have some fun. fuck them if they don't realize that.

Nah. Not if you stay friends with him afterwards. If anything he gets +1 friend in addition to the chick. His fault if he fails at pursuing the girl... Maybe he'll take it as a lesson to stop being an AFC.

You gotta focus on improving yourself. And from what I'm getting from this post, she's seems to be a good acquaintance and not a best friend. Thus, if she has any bad preset ideas about you then you can dispel them through how you act (i.e. being confident, fun, interesting). Be the guy she wants to be around. Hell. Be the guy you want to be around and good things will follow.
/r/seduction30/01/11 05:28 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
