"Rapey" doesn't mean anything, unless you are accusing someone of rape. It's an emotionally charged word used to elicit a response, but doesn't really have a definable meaning. So I'm going to go ahead and dismiss that, which still leaves you without any argument as to why he is wrong.

Only stupid people wouldn't understand what he said in context. Food for thought.

He clearly meant "after the fact", as is the context of this thread. Don't be that dense.

That's obviously not what he meant, idiot.

I still don't even think that's it. I think PUA is just a very small subsection of TRP holistically. When I see an EC get annoyed by a comparison to PUA, it's because TRP has so much more under its umbrella, that reducing it to canned openers and spam approaching is to belittle what it really is.

Apathy means abandonment. Abandonment means death in tribal evolution.

How is my statement misogynist again? I think you need to look up the definition of that word.

Moral relativism is a female concept. It's a bullshit way to rationalize bad behavior when it's your own actions.

"I had my fun before, now I want something more serious" I'm not sure I'll ever understand why they use that specific line. How can you think that sounds good?

Kids, repeat these words and never forget them: if she has tried a sex act with a previous boyfriend and won't try it with you, she's not as attracted to you as she was the previous boyfriend, and your relationship will either fail or be extremely unhappy as a result. "Bbbbut she only did that to keep his attention!" Yes, and she won't do it to keep yours. What does that say about you, and what does that say about her? No, you're not entitled to those acts. She's not entitled to your time, money…

Big advice right here. Do this if you suspect you (or someone else) is having a heart attack or other emergency. Designate someone.

I still prefer a skinny girl to a muscular girl, but I prefer a muscular girl to a fat girl. I think the muscular girls are trying to be "in shape", but still fighting against femininity by being in shape the way guys are in shape. Women just seem to hate being women anymore.

To make a parable, you're like the guy in the restaurant who doesn't want to eat any of the dishes because they aren't tasty enough. The FA male is the hobo outside who is starving and scraping the trash for the tiniest piece of food but can't find any. Spot on comparison.

So on a site of focused sub sections, it's an unfocused subsection. It should just be absorbed by askreddit, or dropped completely. It's an embarrassment.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/15 01:41 AM

Then why call it "AskMen"? Call it something else, it's extremely misleading.

I'm still subbed, but I post pretty infrequently now. Reason being that it's become a lot of posturing without substance. Guys trying to "out-alpha" each other in a comment thread. I miss the threads about improving form on squats, good ideas for places to meet women, travel tips, etc. Feminism is fun to make fun of, occasionally

It's worth exploring, but to me the actionable advice is: don't commit to sluts.
/r/TheRedPill05/09/15 07:34 PM

This is the correlation vs causation thing that TBP and PPD always trots out to defeat the "don't commit to sluts" meme. "We don't know if being a slut is the cause of the broken paid-bond mechanism or a symptom!" I don't care if it's a cause or a symptom. Is someone bleeding because they have Ebola, or do they have Ebola because they're bleeding? I don't care about the answer, I'm staying the fuck away from that person.

"I'm real sarcastic" Translation "I don't know how to humor so I use sarcasm (because guys that I'm attracted to use it when holding frame)" "Guys get offended by it" Translation "I'm not really attractive, but some guys will hit on me for easy sex. healthy self esteem I actually think female self esteem is at a dangerously high level, where a 6 thinks that by fucking a 9, that she's a 9, and will no longer "settle" for a 6. I think that a little humility would go a long way.

Some police officers can be very RP. They see a lot of these stories break down when the women get questioned, until they admit that they made it up. Unfortunately, they know the judge will just give the woman a slap on the wrist or less, so no charges end up getting filed.

Less experience is going to mean young, therefore more attractive. Less experience lends itself to less bitterness and jade(jadedness?). I don't see trait that makes a woman a better partner as she has sex with more new men.

Maybe later, I'm at work right now. Aww, you're practicing frame. Good for you. Apologizing isn't a sign of weakness. Refusing to own up when you did something wrong and take personal responsibility is a sign of weakness. If you read what I wrote, I said this was my experience. It doesn't mean it's your experience. Don't like it? Don't listen. Simple.

This is what I've witnessed with tall guys who act like that: often, they are not very good with women. But, because they are tall, they are expected to have girls just fall into their lap. The lack of success combined with the social expectations frustrates them, and they take it out on those they see as their enemies: short guys.

Search for "Sex and Culture" by JD Unwin. He did a pretty large study on civilizations throughout history and found one thing in common with all of those who were once great and ultimately collapsed: unrestrained female sexuality.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/15 12:23 AM

The correlation vs causation here isn't really relevant. The fact that they are correlated is proof enough to avoid those type of women for long term relationships. Is someone sick because they have a fever, or do they have a fever because they are sick? The cause/effect chain doesn't matter, keep away from that person.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/15 12:21 AM

So here's the way this thread is going to go: for each study you're given, you're going to say one of the following that study doesn't say exactly the same thing TRP says! I agree with that so that means it's not a "red pill" idea! I don't care about that! I wanted you to prove to me that all women are exactly the same since that's what you guys all believe!! That is the most succinct explanation of what always happens in this sub.

Muay Thai is great. It's physically very demanding, a good trainer will have you doing body weight conditioning as well, and it's not just a ring sport, it has real world applicability. Learning how to strike with knees, elbows, and leg kicks gives you a lot of leverage for various situations. And the boxing training is great, again, assuming a good teacher. Plus it's a small set of techniques that you work very hard, so it's not super complicated. I tried BJJ for about a year, and as much as I …

she will call him a creep, loser, etc and basically tell him to fuck off (she didn't give her phone number to the creep, etc). This. You hold frame, and always make him look like an ass, but with a smile on your face (so to speak). If you have to fight, you will look like a pussy even if you win. Easy to say now, but Germany didn't turn overnight. It's apparently illegal to even criticize feminists in Canada (see Gregory Alan Elliot). The point wasn't that girls or guys should settle down at 20. It's that a guy shouldn't resign himself to be a backup plan while the girl hops from breathing dildo to breathing dildo for 10 years.

I definitely think TRP offends individual women because they don't like to think that there is a guide out there that claims knowledge on their psychology. This. You have to provide incentives. Societal incentives for men to be "real men" and "good men" used to be a respectful, loving wife, and respect in the community. We no longer can obtain either, yet society still expects us to keep our side of the bargain. Given us incentives, we'll respond.

Okay. Just trying to be fair. Those two things are related. It's the polar ends of the sexual strategy. Male strategy is to be promiscuous, female strategy is to be hypergamous. Both are natural and biological, but in terms of society, it's best to keep them in check.

They imagine it all to be in an alley at knife point and that's not the case The only other 2 cases I can think of are: Complete mental incapacitation (coma, passed out drunk/drugs, etc) Underage So we disagree on what the definition ought to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 10:08 PM

If you agree with evolution through sexual selection and natural selection, then this is pretty much the logical conclusion. Women would select for traits that would ensure good, healthy genes and good provisioning, so those traits survived to the next generation. Basic stuff.

The guy could have gotten away with "I didn't feel the chemistry, thanks anyway". He spoke too much, and hung himself with his words. He's a dunce. Preselection is simply appearing more attractive because you are seen with a (likely attractive) member of the opposite sex. Aka, guys with girlfriends are "preselected" to be a good provider of genes and/or resources. The going TRP theory is that women's attractive features are external and quite obvious, such as youth, beauty, etc (fertility). Men's attractive features are mixed, some are external (height, muscles), some are internal (leadership qualities, charisma, etc). Therefore, men's attr…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 09:51 PM

It really depends on the context. "Those bitches shouldn't be allowed to vote or out of the house!" Clearly too far in the anger phase, try again. "I'm fucking pissed that society lied to me about attraction and dating and I want answers!" Much more reasonable, engage.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 09:47 PM
1

Your explanation makes sense, which I why I personally believe preselection works. Aside from the study, we have lots of (albeit anecdotal) data in TRP about how effective the strategy is. I do not believe it works with the genders reversed.

Alright, since you don't want to get into it any further, I'll discontinue. One thing I will say is this: I (and several others I've seen in this thread) have no interest in marrying if the only choice is in women 30+. What's your suggestion for us?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 06:26 PM
1

Alright, let's back this up. Are you suggesting that pre-selection does work for females, or that it doesn't work for males?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 06:25 PM
2

That, in economic terms, is called "opportunity cost". She may value those things higher than the quality of the mate she can get at 30, in which case, it's a better deal. But, if she values a high quality mate and ease of fertility (in most cases), then the price she pays for that is foregoing those other opportunities. It's all about tradeoffs. TRP is just about enabling recognition of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 05:33 PM
3

Correct. We (collectively, not we TRP) have turned this into a zero sum game. There are few (if any) real winners, and many, many losers in the game.

Seems like fighting biology that enables you to start having babies from a very young age would produce unhappier people. All of those things that "feel good" about dealing with your children are biologically driven: the affection/bonding, feeding them, keeping them safe, those are derived from chemicals that get released in your brain telling you that what you are doing is right. Your solution is to keep putting off on biology until it becomes more difficult for your body to do these things (mi…

If you force young people to mature at 20, they'll mature at 20. If you let them wander around in adulthood purgatory until 35, they'll do just that. The brain is pliable. Lets just start with the statement you responded to: The latter route (TRP) gets them laid faster and easier, so it is hot shit to those who want to get laid faster and easier. Wouldn't the greatest irony of all, be if TRP left reddit of its own volition, because of how shitty it (reddit) has become? Instead of being shutdown. THAT would send a message. I'm not advocating it, because I'm used to it being here. But this is an interesting development.
/r/TheRedPill03/07/15 02:17 PM

"Can" you be friends with a woman? Sure. I'm learning that as we speak. "Should" you be friends with a woman? It depends on your situation. If you just started reading and practicing TRP, I would say no, until you move past the anger phase and learn how to avoid falling for just one woman. To me, in your case, it sounds like you are concealing the fact that you are into this girl. Therefore, you should not be friends with her.

Which would make sense if you were asking from a TRP perspective. The fact that you asked a question that has little to no relevance to what TRP guys are seeking means they are either going to debate your points or outright dismiss them. TRP teaches guys how to generate initial sexual attraction, since that is what most of them come into it lacking. Seriously, I'm actually trying to help your cause with a more appealing question. No sarcasm, no snark.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/15 02:57 AM

Then your OP question needs to be refined, because you and TBP army keep moving the goalposts around attraction. Here's a better one, if you are trying to appeal to TRP guys on "another way": "Ladies, what are behaviors and/or physical traits that a man can do/have to generate initial sexual attraction (aka pussy wet) with a woman he doesn't know and has never met before? After that, what are some behaviors that will keep the sexual attraction strong so she doesn't swing to the next best thing?"

A better analogy would be that the wall is to women as the physical wall is to football players. I.e. At some point a football players physical body will break down and he will not be able to perform at the same level as he once did. At that point the football player will look for a job that is a little more safe than the last job but they need to settle down and get something that provided them a living. Old saying fits here: women and athletes die 2 deaths.

The red pill shouldn't be an excuse to give up on civilization. This is where TRP diverges from traditionalism. It's only one study, but it's the only study we have. And as you said, it may not cover for factors such as abuse, mental illness, etc. That being said, I'm even more convinced, because if those factors play into it, it still means there's a correlation, because those factors exist in the general population. I am not hearing any concrete consequences of being a slut. There is a study (albeit I've only seen one) that looks at pre-marital partner counts and likelihood of divorce, and there is a very strong correlation. So, it's likely that there are consequences, in terms of affecting the ability to pair bond. Again, just the one study that I know of (no, I don't have the link handy).

The only men I've ever seen calling a girl "slut" to her face were guys that got rejected. That's simple butthurt, easily explained. And it's still quite rare. Women-on-women slut-shaming? Shiiiiiiiiiiiit.

If that's what TRP responds to, good for them. But it carries over into how they talk to/treat women. I'm sure that's true for some guys in the anger phase, but don't let the mask of reddit fool you. In real life, people act a lot different. I have never identified with "men talking to each other in the male space" A lot of it is in good faith. I've always been a person who fucks with their friends, but at the end of the day, I'd back any of them in a fight, or let them crash on my couch.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/15 03:10 PM
1

There is actually evidence (I don't have the link handy) that more premarital partners leads to a higher likelihood of divorce. Even 1 previous partner increases the likelihood somewhere around 20% (from memory). So there is actually something to it, it's not just made-up.

Wait...what? What does that have to do with fat women?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/15 02:59 PM

This is where we'll have to agree to disagree. I still highly value a women's low partner count, because if I'm going to emotionally invest (and invest resources in a child), I'm not going to put up with her fucking around on me. If you're telling the truth and being honest, kudos for living up to your stated beliefs.

most of society I would disagree. There are plenty of fat women that have value to "most of society". Someone like, for example, Adele. Fantastic singer, even kind of funny. But I wouldn't fuck her with someone else's dick. The difference is their biological value, or genetic value, which is very different than societal value. Women aren't mad that they aren't "valued" for their accomplishments, they're mad because their accomplishments don't create boners, which they've been led to believe beca…

Ok. I would say though, that the language you see is 50% because of guys still in the "anger phase" and 50% because of how men talk to each other when they are in a male space. I actually appreciate the bluntness of it, because it doesn't hide the message. I criticize a lot of "corporate speak" these days, because they teach you to give critical feedback sandwiched in good feedback, which softens the message and may not even convey what the problem is. I like brash language because there is no d…

Wait, I'm confused. How is "so you're a boring fuck", an article written telling guys how to be more interesting to women, in and of itself misogynistic? That's why I don't take that word seriously, it never seems to actually mean "hating women".

So based on the conclusions of the book, are you okay with complete non-monogamy and everyone having sex with everyone? If you buy into the book, don't cherrypick. Think about your current SO, it's totally cool if they just go out and have sex with everyone right?

It could be that, but it almost feels like it's more. It's almost intentionally condescending, like someone trying to troll you but very obviously. Instead of a subtle trolling insult, "fee fees" almost feels like a troll calling you a "fuckface asshole". It's just...lazy.

Whatever you do, be consistent. Inconsistency is what pisses guys off. If a girl truly wanted to "wait", she damn well better have waited with all the other guys she's been with. If I have to wait, but other guys got it on the first night, it's because she doesn't find me as attractive as those other guys, which means her propensity to leave is almost certain. No thanks. If I ever wanted to get into a long term relationship with someone, I had better be the fastest person she ever slept with.

I disagree. Women often invent stories in their minds, based on things they do. Plenty of girls can be seen in public with their fuck buddies, and you'd never be none the wiser (they do this to protect their reputation). Girls will get jealous of other girls, as long as they are at least attractive (nod to your point #1).

If you are just going through your transition phase, I would advise against it, because it becomes an easy trap into not being a sexual guy. But after you've gone through to the other side, yes you can. But here's a few guidelines: Don't do it with girls you are "pining" for, or girls that you ultimately want to have sex with. It will impede your progress, and it's not worth it. Do NOT expect them to be like your guy friends. They will not have your back, they will not stick by you when they get…

Was the influence of BP that strong that you couldn't recognize that women, just like all humans, can be coldhearted and calculating? Yes. It's generally shoved down your throat that women are angelic, don't lie, are naturally monogamous, and are consistently victims of awful men. Do you think all of the sensational terms are necessary? Not necessary, no. But it is (generally speaking), a large gathering of men. They are just condensing a concept down to a simple term, for brevity. Nothing else.…

I baked my best guy friend an apple pie as a bribe to get him to come apple picking with me Did Chad McTingles have to go apple picking with you? No, he got apple pie and sex for nothing but his god-given genetics. Sweetie McSweetGuy had to go apple picking (which is something no guy has ever wanted to do in the history of ever), just to get an apple pie. And still had to jerk off, alone, at the end of the day. Hmm.

I challenge YOU to step back for a second and try to see things from a girl's perspective We have, and thus TRP was born. We understand (mostly) how they think, and we've adjusted to that. But we adjusted to meet our needs, not yours. That's why BP is so upset.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 02:22 PM
4

Most of us have. Or will. It's just life, people will use you if they can. But that's why (one of many reasons) TRP exists, to show guys how to avoid being used.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 02:19 PM

I think she's making that specific point fine, but it's mostly irrelevant, because it won't change the value(s) that men assign.

Also keep in mind, that sex is very easy for the vast majority of women to obtain with little effort. Difficult for most men. Women place a lower value on sex because it's accessible, men place a higher value because it's "expensive" (so to speak). So yes, our desire to get that validation is higher, so when a woman won't have sex with us, it's a blow to that validation.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 02:12 PM

Men's relationships with each other usually last until they are either 1) separated by great distance or 2) a female comes between them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 02:06 PM
2

Considering men highly value sex, when you "give sex" to some random guy on the street, men are going to view that in the lens of "she rewarded him for his qualities". If a guy is attractive enough to get rewarded with little effort, other men are going to try to emulate that man's qualities (fitness, status, confidence, etc). We want the most return on our investment, or rather, to do the least while receiving the most. Every living organism follows that pattern (and even non-living phenomenon,…

you jumped in trying to counter my example with divorce risk for some reason Because that is the main consequence that we focus on regarding promiscuous women. That's not socially fabricated, that's damning evidence. So yes, promiscuity has real, tangible consequences statistically, and men would be best served by avoiding these women for long term relationships.

Sexual assault education to all freshmen on day one, that makes it clear what sexual assault is, and makes it clear what resources are available should something horrendous like that happens (who to contact, support services, etc) Only part I disagree with, unless they do it for other crimes as well. The sex partner count for women is very important for men. Out of the eight boyfriends I had in my life, only one asked me for my number. If it was that important I would think the question would have been asked by more of them. I think most men don't want to know. It could be because they think you will be dishonest about it anyway, as lying about the number is common.

alpha women Yes, to an even higher extent. I've never met an "alpha woman" who was happy. There are 2 traits to a romantic gesture that steer it away from beta territory (read: it's still pretty easy to fuck up, and asshole game is easier). UNEXPECTED. This cannot be something done with regularity, like flowers on Valentine's Day. It has to be done on your terms and timetable. If you do something more than 3 times, it's no longer romantic, it's expected (stolen from Beige Phillip). CREATIVE. Again, flowers are not creative. Expensive candlelit dinners are not creative. Only to the point where it indicates a genetic anomaly. Size is king in the animal kingdom; women are attracted to dominance, height is an indicator of that. So to the point where someone might actually have a genetic disorder (like gigantism), a girl is going to go for the tallest guy in the given context.
/r/TheRedPill26/02/15 11:42 PM

Ideal height is "tallest guy in the current context". Aka if the tallest guy in a 100 mile radius of a girl is 5'9, then 5'9 is ideal, because it's the best she can get.

There might be some split opinions on this on TRP, but if a girl I'm considering dating has orbiters, it's something she WILL hold over your head in a disagreement. There are precisely 0 upsides for you as the guy, and a ton of downsides. So it's a serious red flag.

Life expectancy in history was a bit of a misnomer, because it included the extremely high rate of infant mortality (due to infections). Ever since doctors learned to wash their hands before delivering, infant mortality went down and life expectancy "shot up". People were not just dropping dead at 30 like it was Logan's Run.

Everything in life involves a trade off. The reason TRP talks in economic terms often is because it fits the sexual marketplace well. If you want something cheap, you won't get quality. If you want something quality, it won't be fast. Investing money now vs spending it now means you'll have more later, but not the thing you want now. For women, the trade was always youth and beauty (and by proxy, healthy children) for resources, validation and protection. When you can't pony up the currency, why…

I've seen the hard working, ball busting lawyer girl being swooned by a bouncer at a high end club on Friday night, and then saw the sweet mousy bookworm grabbing a guy's dick in the middle of the dance floor on Saturday. It's not a useful question, in the context of western girls. Even church girls are affected.

Realistically, many ideas that people have revolve way more around the user interface than the technical implementation. It's rare that an idea actually differentiates itself on the technical side. Facebook, for example, is not so much "complex" as it is time-consuming and very detail oriented from a technical perspective. It's the idea and the UI.

And I regularly take it and have a high degree of respect for it. That being said, there are many situations where it is not practical to use. If I'm are on a gravel or concrete street or sidewalk, I sure as hell am not going to the ground. If it's me vs 2+ other people, again, I'm not going to the ground. A school/instructor that is versed in several arts and is adept at combining them for various situations is going to net you the best overall ability.

I agree, with one or two caveats: if you take these two, try to work with same instructor if possible, as he will have good knowledge of how to combine them (MMA). I'd still be a tad firm, make sure you are pushing the interaction forward as far as she'll let you. Take her shirt. Her bra. Bottoms. Even with all this shit society wants to make us believe. Women are still the weaker sex, and a lot of them, if not most can't stand up for themselves. Especially if the man is really dominating. Well, which is it? Either we are equal and deserve equal rights and responsibilities, or we don't. You don't get to have equal rights but also claim a lack of agency to be able to "stand up for yourself." That's how grown ups work, we understand that actions have results, and that we own the responsibil…

You may not feel like you're competing with other guys in her past, but she feels that way. It's the same reason girls with lower N counts make better long term partners. Women don't change. If sex is an economy, then pussy is like paper money. Paper money doesn't technically have value, but it represents value. If you release more paper money, you aren't richer, actually you dilute the value of all other money in circulation. Hence why virginity is valuable: the more you spread that currency (fucking guys) around, the more the value of that currency is diluted. That's why sex is so cheap but commitment is now so expensive (aka inflation). If virginity is not important, why did natu…

This is an interesting thing to do when you first get into TRP, and need to up your notch count to learn what you like/don't. But when you get farther on down the chain, the unilateral response to flaking is a hard "next". Flaking is blatant disrespect and shouldn't be tolerated. Common response: "but they are women! That's what they do!" And I'm a man, and I have options, and my time is valuable.

Always remember to take things in context. Everything should be taken on a case-by-case. If you have a friend who is truly toxic: stealing, bad on drugs, actively trying to limit your self improvement, cut them out. But if someone cockblocks once or some other minor transgression, you have to give SOME leeway. People are flawed. Some more than others. And sometimes, you can go in between those two things. You can forgive someone, but distance yourself from them. Example: I have a friend who is l…

Men are 1.5x more likely to end up divorced when they care more about their partner’s looks, and women are 1.6x more likely to end up divorced when they care more about their partner’s wealth. Crazy. It's almost as if suppressing your natural biological instincts makes for a more stable marriage, and ultimately a more stable society. But patriarchy is wrong, isn't it? Good to see hard data here. Couples who elope are 12.5x more likely to end up divorced than couples who get married at a wedding …

key truth of TRP that woman only think opprtunistically and pragmatically. "Think" is very different from "act", and that's what TRP is all about. Women act on feels, men act on thinks. That's why we should lead, because logic wins over feels 999/1000.

"I wanted security for us and our family". Gentlemen, if you are still debating on whether or not TRP learnings are accurate, this line should send you screeching over the edge of the cliff. Women do not love like men. They either love (1) How you make them feel (alpha) or (2) What you can do for them (beta). They love opportunistically and pragmatically. That's life, deal with it and act appropriately (aka don't get married in the West).

Long story, but I've planned to do mushrooms with my dad's wife for some time now. She does them frequently, I never have. Sounds like an experience, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

May I ask which ones? I've never tried a psychedelic, but I'm interested in any positive long term changes. Rogan talks about how DMT killed his ego, and made his life better. My ego still haunts me every single day.

My dad always said this was his song dedicated to my mom. Wise man.

Interesting about Costa Rica. That's one of the places that I'm considering GTFO of US for. Panama is on that list too.

Misogyny's ancestors include: sexist objectify creepy double standard empowering All just buzzwords that may have had a meaning once, but no longer. Overuse degrades their value to nil.

Actually we're all virgins on this sub. None of this stuff actually works. Go back the TBP, that's where the secrets to the panties of women lie. We are completely delusional.
