Don't compliment. Don't even necessarily flirt. Just talk to her. Say hi. Ask how her day/night is going. Ask how classes are going for her. Just bring up something. You can bring up any kind of topic, but be ready to accept that it might be, like I said, sloppy and awkward. Maybe you say hi, ask how her day is going, she says good, and suddenly the conversation is over. It'll feel awkward and uncomfortable, but don't be scared of that. Like learning an instrument, it won't be pretty at first, b…

Y'know how when someone starts learning how to play an instrument for the first time, it's sloppy and not exactly pretty and they're kind of all over the place, and it takes a while to learn what they're doing? Talking to girls is kinda like that. Be willing to be sloppy and awkward and all over the place. As you do it more, you'll learn more.

You're worrying too much about being impressing girls, rather than being impressive. The first is making any growth be about them; the second is making any growth be about you. The girl you woo won't like you NEARLY as much as the girl who's wooed by you. I know that sounds like fanciful rewording, but there's an important meaning in that. Think about a car salesman who you know is trying too hard to sell you a car. They're saying all these charming things, making these jokes, maybe complimentin…

This might come off as somewhat...impersonal(?) or crude, but think in terms of this: If you're friends with a rich guy, but he doesn't give you any of his money, he might as well have as much money as any of your other friends, right? If you have a friend who's really good at cooking, but they never cook for you, they might as well be as good at cooking as you. Think about hot girls like that; she could be hot, but if she's not going to date or sleep with you, she might as well be ugly. I know …

Did it once, eventually felt horribly regretful about it and told myself I'd never do it again. Sadly, I'm thinking that that first time doing it caused me to have a kink about being "the other guy".

I could have turned it arround and laugh about it but I don't have this instinct for quick clever responses. As someone who is good at quick, clever responses, I'll have you know that I highly doubt it's instinct. I've been a smartass for as long as I can remember, and a lover of puns for years, and so I'm constantly practicing my wit with regards to the two. Being witty can come easier for some, but it's practice and trial and error that makes it happen. Not all of my witticisms and puns are go…

Says who? I doubt it takes the rest of your life to learn how to do a good hairdo. I doubt it takes the rest of your life to figure out how to dress well. I doubt it takes the rest of your life to get good at something you enjoy doing. If you're making these excuses right off the bat, well, you definitely don't need to say more to tell me how low your confidence is. And if improving yourself in various ways doesn't make you feel good about yourself, then you're not doing any of it for the right …

A confident person doesn't tell themselves they're confident, nor do they have to fake anything. Just like a sad person doesn't have to tell themselves they're sad, or an angry person doesn't need to convince themselves that they're angry. They just are, and they know it without questioning it. If someone asked you to talk to a girl and ask her out on a date, you'd have insecurities and anxieties and all that jazz, but if someone asked you to give a thumbs up, you could do it in a second without…

The best thing you can do: Learn from that interaction. Why were you nervous? What topics did you talk about, and did those topics keep the conversation going? Things like that. Then, when you figure out the good stuff, utilize that good stuff with the next girl you talk to. Keep doing that and keep improving.

To touch on one part, one problem could be that you're expecting results. When you expect a certain result from an interaction with someone, it affects how you act in the interaction. If you're trying to get a girl to sleep with you, it's going to make you act in ways that you think would make her sleep with you, and you're not truly "being yourself" by doing that. What you want is for the girl to become attracted to the natural you. Not the you that's trying to impress her. Not the you that wan…

Well, for one, if you don't want to appear low value or clingy, don't be low value or clingy. That said, it's not that complicated. If your behavior is consistent with someone who takes their relationship seriously, she'll see that, and you won't have to go out of your way to try showing or convincing her, since she'll see it herself. So, decide for yourself what it means to take your relationship seriously, and then do that.

The only thing I can add: NEVER forget what got you with her. Always keep in mind the person you are that attracted her.

Here's the thing: You have NO idea why you were rejected. It could be anything. It could've been something about you, it could've been something completely unrelated to you, who knows. You don't, I don't, no one here knows. She could've been telling the truth, she could be lying. Who knows. Stressing about why you were rejected is just gonna add stress and worry to you that you don't need. Just accept that she wasn't interested and move on.

The novelty wearing off is kind of half the challenge of a relationship. There's gonna come a point when all that fluttery excitement won't be there all the time. Not that you can't keep some excitement and joy alive and well in your relationship, but it won't be automatic like it is during the honeymoon phase of a relationship. This is the part where you two start interacting around one another without that feeling and see if you two still like each other. Just go with the flow, enjoy her compa…

Completely remove the idea that she likes you from the equation for a second. Ask yourself: "Do I like her enough that I'd want to pursue her?" Ask this without any concept of how available she is or how many other options you have or anything like that. Think about who she is and whether or not you're drawn to her. If yes, go for her. If no, don't, and find a girl you DO like.

Oh, it's very abstract. The point is just to redefine your goals so that you're acting more productively towards what you want. Like with the money example, it's better to set an observable goal ("Set aside X amount per week") than to work towards an intangible idea ("Save more money"). You get more out of it that way while still accomplishing the original goal you set for yourself.

The whole point is that "trying to seduce" someone is usually not the right way to go, as "trying to seduce" implies certain actions or beliefs you feel you need to do or exhibit in order to woo someone. It's not that you should try to seduce someone, but rather, allow them to be seduced by you and who you are. Don't try to be funny/charming/sweet just to court them, but just be funny/charming/sweet and allow them to be seduced by you as a result. It's much more prudent to tell someone "Set asid…

For the record, a true act of impression isn't something you try to do. It's an emotional response to something we observe about someone. If a girl is a big fan of reading, then it stands to reason that she'll read a lot, right? And let's say I talk to this girl and she tells me she's read over 100 books. I'd be impressed. She didn't try to impress me, I naturally found something impressive about her just by her being herself. I dunno about anyone else, but when I say I want someone to impress m…

For one, attractiveness is generally always a factor, but anyways. "Boring" is subjective. If someone came up to me and started a conversation about cooking, I'd be talking to them for hours. On the flip side, if someone tried talking to me about football, I'd be bored before the conversation even started. This is true of anyone; we all have stuff we love talking about and hate even hearing being mentioned. The point of conversation is just to dig around until you both find that one thing you ca…

I am confused and I'm trying to look like I've got it together First point of advice: Don't just look like you've got it together, actually have it together. Anyways, in this case, if you're interested, tell her so. Text her and say something along the lines of "Hey, I'm interested in actually getting to know you better. Let's go out for drinks [insert time and place]." If you have any conversational quirks or whatnot, just use those. The point is, don't hide your intention, and stick to that in…

Is this a missed opportunity with this girl? Perhaps, perhaps not. Who the hell knows what's gonna happen in the days and weeks and months to come. First off, there is no "outclassed". There is no concept of someone being "better" than you. The only thing that should matter to you in that moment is "I'm attracted to her, and I have prior notions that say she's attracted to me." That's pretty much all you need with regards to talking to someone you're attracted to. The rest is up to how the inter…

The idea of the abundance mentality is to be able to tell yourself "Even if I don't have this thing, I'm fine because I have this, this, and this." The end goal is to have happiness and fulfillment in your life, and while girls can most certainly contribute to those things, the idea should be that even if you don't hook up with a girl or end up dating a girl, you can still have happiness and fulfillment. Remember, part of wooing a girl is letting her see, for herself, who you are and what your l…

Who you are is defined by what you’re willing to struggle for. The true measurement of self-worth is not how a person feels about her positive experiences, but rather how she feels about her negative experiences. Goddamn, I can't get my hands on this book fast enough.

As was already stated, when Mark says "If your true passion is art, and you push paper around at an insurance firm, then you're not living honestly", you shouldn't necessarily take it 100% literally. Well, when you don't know what to do, do something/anything. Remember, it's in doing something that you find out whether you love it or not, so do this and that. You never know what you'll end up loving, but you'll likely find out what it is that you find value in.

Consistency is key. Start from the bottom, with no expectations of how well you should do, and work your way up while building confidence. It can be as simple as having a small conversation with your cashier while they ring you up. Even just a "How's your day going?" followed by 10 seconds of basic conversation is good enough. Do this over and over and over, and after a while you'll find it's not so hard, and you'll find yourself wanting to talk more. Remember, consistency breeds competence, and…

Everyone, at some point in their life, will end up feeling exactly how you do. They'll feel like they're not doing anything with their life, that they have no purpose, that their life is amounting to nothing and that they're just wasting away. A few weeks ago, I was at a small bar concert and was hanging out with a girl I'd met there. After some conversation and a bit of flirting, she and her friend basically asked me "Are you gay?" Ever heard the phrase "If you're trying, you're trying too hard?" The basic idea is that while there IS skill in being social and flirtatious and whatnot involved in getting with girls, a lot of it really does boil down to how much value (however you wanna define it) the two people see in one another and how much they want to be with each other, however far that interaction goes (ONS/FWB/relationship/etc.). You don't have to be like a particular girl to be liked by that particular girl. Just because she's a "slightly above average kind of popular chick" doesn't mean you have to be a "slightly above average kind of popular dude". I mean, there are introverts who date extroverts. There are people from Team Valor who date people from Team Instinct. Your hobbies and whatnot don't have to sync up 100% as long as you two are compatible. Part of it is understanding that you don't always need to do a lot to add value to someone's life. You don't need to go to outings or spend a ton of money or anything. Adding value can be as simple as telling your friend their hair or outfit looks good that day. Maybe your coworker is having a rough day, so you can drop a buck or so to get them a snack they like from a vending machine. Y'know how I mentioned that transition from "flirty tone to sexual tone"? How you're always maintaining that flirty vibe, and then you're eventually set up to make that one comment/say that one line that makes the conversation sexual? Same deal from friendly tone to flirty tone. I don't want you to think of your interactions as steps with a linear path, but in general terms, you go from friendly to flirty to sexual, with some potential fluctuation here and there. Don't think of it so much as "getting almost any girl". The existence of preferences means you won't always get every girl you want. Rather, just focus on making it so that the girls that do come into your life simply add to how awesome it already is.

What you need to really understand is that it's not always about "that one sexy line that changes the vibe". What matters more is that light, consistent tone of flirtiness and sexuality simmering throughout the conversation. As long as you're staying consistent, the lines won't feel forced or out of place, since you've been setting the tone since the beginning. First, become awesome. You ever met someone who you thought was cool and you wanted to interact with them? Seduction and attraction is based around that. It's not necessarily just putting in effort to get people to want you; it's about you just inherently being someone that they want to want. That said, start investing more into yourself so that you end up awesome. Figure out what would make you awesome. Learning a language? Learning an instrument? Getting in shape? Part of attraction is being someone people want to be with, and also, having a life that others want to be part of. Maybe you're someone who likes going out and trying new things, or you like doing this or that. Either way, you're making your life awesome, and when other people see that awesome life, they wanna be part of it. I'd argue that the whole "learn a guitar" advice is meant to fall into that "build an awesome life that others want to be part of" idea.

1) Don't put her on a pedestal. That does no one any good. 2) If you want the girl who's wanted by other guys, you gotta stand out more than those other guys. I also don't know how to talk about sex in subtle way. It's like I can only do full on dirty talk or nothing. It's mostly just a matter of adding some sexual element into the conversation. You don't have to dirty talk, but at least put the idea of sex in their mind. Example: I had a girl jokingly ask if I was gay. No, but then, it'd be hard for Mark to offer you any practical examples. He can't read your mind, so he can't tell you what your biggest vices are or what to do about them. In the end, though, that's not really the point of the book. The onus is on YOU to figure out what your issues are (through introspection, therapy, or whatever works for you), and then for YOU to put in the work coming to terms with those issues. First step is to figure out an issue you have. Let's say for the sake of example…

Sure, that's how a lot of wooing and courting works, but what wooing and courting entail is giving the other person the opportunity to get to see who you are and see if they fall for who they see. If he sees who you are and falls in love with you, it won't be because you did anything out of the…

Good banter comes from two things: wit, and a bit of awareness of the world (usually culturally). Wit comes with practice (I've always been a bit of a natural smartass, so it came naturally to me, but it's still something worth investing practice into), and awareness is as simple as having at least a basic understanding of topics that everyone knows about. (A Star Wars joke wouldn't make sense to you if you haven't seen the movies, for example.)

Live, dude. Girls and seduction aren't all there is to life. There's places to see, people to meet, things to try, all that jazz. If there's a lack of fulfillment in your life, that's on you, not on the girls you aren't meeting. Have more going on in your life so that your sense of self-fulfillment is being met by something other than the attention and touch of girls. I'm not saying girls aren't great, but they shouldn't be the only great thing in your life, and you should be doing other things …

You do it by prioritizing your happiness and goals. That's not to say that you think yourself as the most important person, or better than anyone else, or anything like that, but your focus should be on your satisfaction. If you're going out to a party, focus on having a good time for yourself. If you're gonna try to start looking better, focus on feeling attractive in what you wear. If you're gonna work out, focus on the satisfaction of being healthy, feeling strong, and looking good to yoursel…

Gonna be another voice that will praise Models to the moon and back. That said, "Love Yourself (Like Your Life Depends On It)" and "Live Your Truth", both by Kamal Ravikant, are two books that had a profound impact on me personally, and eventually lead me to feel better about myself, a mind shift that I'd say is conducive to doing well in seduction.

That would be my bad for just wording it wrong. I was trying to say that a guy who knows the "rules" of the game will say X or Y to pass the shit test, but a guy who's truly confident in himself won't allow himself to be swayed by the test in the first place.

It depends on the context and the delivery. Generally speaking, though, if it's your first time talking to her, you don't want to delve too deeply into things like that, if at all. Not to brag or show off, but when I was reading OP's post, that was legitimately my first thought. If nothing else, thinking up witty reactions is one of my strengths. Too bad I'm generally bad with the rest of the things that make up general seduction. (I can't approach to save my life.)

In that particular instance: "Calling me cute, offering me free food; you really know how to seduce a guy, huh?" That would've been my response. It's all about having fun.

Whether it's a good or bad thing depends on your reasons for trying it. If you're doing NoFap because you think masturbation is bad for you and that you're better than others who do fap, I'd say that's an issue. If you have issues of lasting too long/not lasting long enough/not being able to get it up and you think NoFap may help, go for it. No harm in trying it, if nothing else. You may learn something from it. Maybe it's porn that's causing the issues, or maybe you'll find that your mood chang…

How about showing her what it's like to live with the traits you'd like her to have? "Lead by example" and all. I'm not saying do this with the express intent of changing her, but maybe if she sees examples of someone who doesn't let others walk over them, or someone who expresses themselves, or all that jazz, it might rub off on her.

Watch comedians (not just for the jokes, but their delivery, how they act, how they present themselves and the joke as one unit, etc.), become informed about a lot of things, and practice. I've been a smartass for a good chuck of my life, and considered I've always embraced it, it's helped me a lot in keeping my wit up, so I'm pretty good at responding to things with witty stuff. Also, not every response you think of will be funny/witty, but embracing that will make learning much easier.

I love Models because most pick up books talk about getting into relationships with girls as the goal, whereas Models talks about getting into relationships with girls as a side bonus of a bigger, more important goal; that goal being, become a man who lives a fulfilled, satisfied life. He doesn't say to become an attractive man because it'll win over people, he says to do it because it'll make yourself happier. When I pitch the book to people, that's how I describe it.
/r/seduction22/10/14 05:33 AM

Love Yourself, definitely. Not only is it the first book between the two, but in Live Your Truth, he makes some slight references to things he talks about in Love Yourself, things you won't get unless you've read the book. Granted, they aren't big enough references that you're missing out on anything important, but I still say it's better to read Love Yourself first, take a day or two to reflect on it and see how it can apply to your life, then read Live Your Truth.

I'll go ahead and mention "Models" by Mark Manson just so we can get it outta the way. Honestly, for me, the biggest thing I needed to work on was myself, which led me to reading books about personal growth. They're not related to picking up girls, but "Love Yourself (Like Your Life Depends On It)" and "Live Your Truth", both by Kamal Ravikant, are two incredibly profound books that really shifted my overall mentality on life. Both are on Amazon, both are less than $5, and both can be finished i…

There's a book out there. It's called "Models", written by Mark Manson. Read it. Then read it again. Start internalizing the stuff he writes about. There are two other books out there. "Love Yourself (Like Your Life Depends On It)" and "Live Your Truth", both written by Kamal Ravikant. Read them both. Then read them both again. Internalize. After you've done these things and put what they've taught into practice, you'll see a difference. Then come back and tell us about the differences.

I suppose the end goal in this topic is to view hooking up as a numbers game. (Which is inherent in the title, after all.) If I was looking for just random hookups, then yeah, casting a wide net is obviously the smart choice. I'm generally selective on who I'd hook up with, though, so if I were to cast a net, it'd be smaller, but more in line with exactly what I'm looking for.

It's mostly me, though. Personally, I don't care where my money goes. Hell, I don't need to make a lot in the first place. Again, as long as those basic needs are met, I'm fine. But that's my point. If you make enough that you're content (after taxes and whatnot), does it matter where the other money goes? Or, do you need to make any more money if you're already content?

It kind of depends on how philosophical you want to get as far as "up" and "down" are concerned, the varying philosophies including money, the value of a person, and all that. Personally, if I were rich, I wouldn't mind being taxed a lot. As long as I had enough to support myself, my family, live decently, and be able to have some good experiences in life, I'm good. I don't need a lot of money to have a fulfilling life. And I don't think anyone does, either. Selfishness and the desire for money …

Let me repeat/reiterate myself, just to make sure that there's no confusion in the future: The way I described it makes sense from a factual, logical, numbers standpoint. That viewpoint does not, in any way, shape, or form take into consideration how people feel or how fair anything is. I mean, is that clear enough? Did I hopefully explain myself clearly enough by saying that? Cool beans. Second of all, isn't it a given that there are outliers in any case? I'm a small dude. I'm sure there are to…

As varied as my opinions are slowly becoming as far as selective service and equal/fair treatment are concerned, I'm gonna play devil's advocate for a moment, because from a factual standpoint, I can see how it makes sense. From a purely logical point, if one gender is stronger than the other, why wouldn't you choose to send that stronger gender? And if the second gender is the one who's able to produce more people/soldiers, and the first, stronger gender isn't capable of reproducing in this way…

It's why, while I support feminism and MHRA, I consider myself egalitarian. Considering (the good) feminists are working towards making things better for women, and (the good) MRAs are working towards making things better for men, there isn't much I can do on those fronts that the good ones aren't already doing. I like to think that as an egalitarian, I could be a mediator for the two camps when things get hostile; I've heard people say that egalitarianism is redundant when both parties already …

I agree with you. The idea what time/energy/resources can't be split without ruining the effectiveness of supporting people is why I'm okay with both feminism and men's rights existing. I didn't explain it well in my original post, but it's why I mentioned that feminists (the good ones, not the radicals that you've mentioned) acknowledge the issues of both genders, but focus on women's issues, and MRAs do the same for men's issues. It's hard for me to describe, but I feel that feminists can put …

They're obviously not the same. I'll go ahead and admit that I didn't emphasize this enough in my original post. =P But the idea of women pursuing equal rights (whether that's old-school feminism or some new name that separates itself from the current definition of feminism) and the idea of men pursuing equal rights aren't extremely different from each other. They're just different sides of the same coin. If we're going to use the jaded definition of feminism, then yes, they are different.

I'm not sure what exactly it is I'm presuming that's insulting. All I've done is explain how I view the whole gender issue debate, and how I view the different sides of the argument. If you don't agree with me, that's perfectly fine, and you may completely disregard all I've said if it comes off as ill-informed, overly-idealistic, or however you feel I'm wrong.
/r/MensRights05/06/14 03:18 PM

From the looks of this conversation, it doesn't seem like you're going to believe me no matter what I say. =/ Plus, you're providing the hateful kind of commentary that most people dislike in MRAs. For the sake of keeping things civil, let's just end the discussion here.

Finding a way to articulate this next bit is hard for me, but this just means I'm thinking of my beliefs further, so there's that. The way I see it, men and women both have problems. Some petty in comparison to big things (women tend to call guys creepy unnecessarily, and guys cat-call girls rudely), and some that are legitimate issues (I'll admit this bit is mostly unsupported supposition on my part, but women tend to be the more common victim of rape, with it leading to murder at times, and me…

Then I wouldn't discuss gender issues with them. I have no hidden motives when I talk with a feminist, and I stick to what my honest intention was: to understand her. I don't, actually. But I'm willing to be optimistic and believe that in spite of all this hatred, I could speak to a feminist and learn to understand her, not just her beliefs. I'm not lecturing anyone. I don't claim my beliefs on what those different groups stand for are correct, nor do I claim I know more about these issues than anyone here. I'll gladly admit that the vast majority of the members hear are more passionate about the MRA movement than I am, and thus have probably put more time, energy, and research into it. And when you hear that feminists don't want to talk about men's issues, it can be easy to react to it, to interpret it as them not caring about men's issues, or for them to hate men. But I prefer this response: why? And I don't mean asking why to understand their reasoning, but asking why to understand THEM, as people. I suppose my main point is that I feel like people show a lot of hostility towards feminism, and I can see that it's because how many have been treated by feminism and all the things that have lead to it. I agree with most of what you said except I write "reasonably developed" because if they're prepubescent then they don't have sexual urges and should not have knowledge of sex. if only because I plan on teaching my children about sex shortly before or just as they begin puberty. To build on this, two examples: A while back, there was a girl I was attracted to. We'd spent some time getting to know each other, and I got the feeling that she was attracted to me as well. One night, we were walking and talking, and I told her that I wanted to kiss her, which led to her giving a short response. I then asked her if I could kiss her. (Yes, you may cringe now.) I think doing so at first is a viable option. When you own up to a girl about being anxious, and you see that it's not so bad and that it's okay to be anxious, it (in a counter-intuitive way) helps you learn to not be anxious around girls. After a while, though, you don't want to fall back on this. The objective from admitting your anxiety is to learn to overcome it, after all.

I'm subbed to this subreddit because I'm already aware of how feminism affects our society, so this is a way to see how flip side of the coin can make an argument for better equality. Granted, I hate feminism, moreso for its implementation than its goals, though the goals aren't without some fault. The goal of feminism is for women to gain equality to men; hell, that's why it's named as such. You don't have to become best friends with someone you just started having a conversation with, but if you two are having a talk of some kind, actually care about what they're saying and how it affects them and you. There's nothing wrong with being nice. It's just a matter of being nice when you feel compelled, when it's in a way that isn't you sacrificing your morals, beliefs, or dignity in order to do. The underlying idea is "Have the self-respect to do whatever it is you want to do, the opinions of others be damned," and then applying that as appropriate to the situation.

Me, I hook my thumbs inside the pockets of my pants when I talk, and use my hands to gesture when need be. I used to do it consciously, but now it just sort of happens. I might have my hands at my side at first, but eventually my thumbs just slides into my pockets if there's a lull in the conversation.

1) The conversation can be about whatever you want. Maybe she's wearing something unique; hell, if you're not good with approaching, start with the girls who are different and strike up a conversation about that. Or figure out your demographic (gamer, pothead, anime fan, jock, etc.), figure out a place they meet up, and mingle with "your people." If you're in a place where you know there are like-minded people, it'll be at least a bit easier to randomly start up a conversation. Me personally, I'…

As someone who's studying gender issues informally, may I ask if you have any examples of how you're taught that men are dangerous?

I wouldn't even worry about it. It's in my nature that if a guy does that to me, I accept it warmly and return the gesture. Maybe introduce the guy to whomever I'm chatting with. I actually think that if you're talking to someone or a group of people, and some random guy comes up to you and starts being chummy with you, it's a sign of being "popular" or well socialized in whatever group you're in, and thus accepting his gesture wouldn't be a sign of weakness.

That's the idea. If you see a girl that's attractive, don't focus on how attractive she is, just that you'd wanna talk to her and maybe get somewhere with her.

Right? I mean, who the hell even likes it? Just a bunch of people who can't say anything directly, that's who.

In no particular order: Don't be afraid to express yourself wholly and unabashedly, even if it means someone rejects you or you embarrass yourself. At some point, someone will accept you and like you. Care about yourself (hygiene, dress, experiences, body/health, etc.), and you'll find others will have an easier time caring about you, too. Invest in your well-being and your life with all you got. Drop the 1 - 10 scale and adopt an "I would" vs. "I wouldn't" mindset. Make sure any good time you h…

Sarcasm. I looooove sarcasm. I love it even more when I can make a comment, straight-faced, and she retorts back in kind, also straight-faced. This could go on for a few seconds or minutes, but at some point, we look at each other and smile and just know.

I prefer to see texting, Facebook, or anything like that as a means to an end. You should be making physical interaction (or at the least, phone calls) your main forms of interaction. Not that there's anything wrong with those mediums, as there's a time and a place for everything, but it shows more...moxy to talk and interact with her directly as opposed to interacting through electronics.

How long ago was this instance of confession and cuddling? If it was recent, you might still have a chance to win her over. Make some kind of move on her. Initiate cuddling, hold her hand, go for a kiss. If she's not interested, she'll turn you down, and if you're as good of friends as you feel, you should still be able to keep the friendship. But basically, it's easy to say you feel a certain way, girls love it when a guy initiates to show how he feels.
