Pure capitalism as most people think of it goes hand in hand with free markets. No business baron wants the government telling him how to optimize his pricing. Rather he wants to be able to maximize profit. Pricing according to the supply and demand dynamics related to each gender allows one to maximize profit. So unless we are talking academic or theoretical, it is.

Unification overall is inevitable without controls. My position is really just that capitalism needs controls. But everyone who's talking to me in this comment line keeps saying I'm a communist. Capitalism without controls inevitably leads to pretty terrible things. Capitalism inevitably has cronyism because that's human nature - pride, arrogance, and cronyism. So you have to control that.

I was specifically referring to his first most colorful claim that communism will shoot you into a mass grave. Separation of powers slows down the ability to pull that off - among other things like cohesion and morality. Capitalism (in it's fundamental nature) centralizes, individuates, and boils everything down to dollars. Each of those is in direct opposition. So in my opinion, things have to be in balance, not one way or the other.

If you're in a 1st world country, you probably don't see all the ways that people are exploited for their labor. Somehow I'm being painted as against capitalism, but I'm not. I'm for constraining and balancing it out. Constraining capitalism is why we have a living wage. I'm surprised you think privatizing is the 'only way to protect resources'. Any centralized government is eventually going to get a lawless person in charge that has a bunch of loyals around them, and will start killing or starving people. That's not capitalism, that's centralized power. At least, that's the pattern so far. That's a separate problem from capitalists exploiting workers and privatizing resources, like water.
