If I'm in prolonged contact with someone I find attractive I'll usually ask "So are you seeing someone?" exact words, if they are then it opens up to talking about how they met how the person is etc, if they aren't, you can ask if they wanna have lunch (works well for coworkers) or go out and do something more interesting (works for everyone else) and move from there if you feel like it. Waiting till you feel like you want to make something along the lines of a confession is a rookie mistake on …

I've done this over the phone while on a business trip. What I was thinking at the time was "man it would suck if I said somebody else's name instead of hers." Fuck you, brain.

When I rub one out tonight, it'll be for you, luciiz. Think of it like a prayer. Or a candle light vigil. Whatever.

As far as going past a number it's about setting mostly. I'm not going to try to take a girl back to my apartment after meeting her in a coffee shop 90% of the time cause I have other shit planned. If I meet you in a bar or a club or party it's another story.

If you are what you say you are you honestly shouldn't have trouble picking up the guy of your choice in a bar. Have you actually gone out and tried yet? As for moving things along, read up on the escalation ladder and look for openings in it that you can move it up a rung or two. Link. Makes things easier for us. If you want to seem classy (past your personality and to be used as a determinate in the initial opening) it's about setting and appearances. Once the initial frame is set you need to …

Well, I'm at work, and from past experience following links on seddit tends to be moderately dangerous for my job security, so theres that. I already agree with what you said and don't really feel too strongly about it either way so I wasn't going to bother commenting.

Hi there. I'm making this post for this post of mine to show you that that was, infact, the joke. Thanks.

Crossed my mind but the situation is already stretched across 5 days. Approaching earlier than the last day is auto-fail, I can't see waiting longer improving his odds any- especially when he has no pretense for being there other than asking her out.

I do. Her job is to be attractive and make a person feel good about putting down a shitton of money on a bad investment. You can bet your ass she gets asked out all the time. Approaching her like everyone else does is an excellent way to set yourself up for failure.

Reminds me heavily of a nice lady I met at a microsoft dinner thing a while back. She turned out to be a hired gun through and through. Did not end pretty. Heres what I think from the perspective you've given me: The situation you're in is very hard to make good work of. I would separate the car from her and you as best I could, make sure it is not in the picture if you're going to ask her to dinner and, just my opinion, if you would like the date to go well I would probably keep the car out of …

I'm surprised no one has mentioned NLP (Neuro linguistic programming) yet. I haven't read any of these yet but for those interested in more information on the topic you may be well served reading one of these books; I'm pretty sure this topic is almost entirely what they are about and my understanding is they tend to be littered with advice pertaining to seduction in general. Any insight from someone who has read a book/s on NLP would be great.

You sound like a lot of other guys here that haven't read the bear minimum material.. or at least you don't really know it yet. Escalating is important. Being able to approach people is more important. It sounds like what your problem is here isn't that you're unable to escalate its that you couldn't talk to her. This is just a guess but you need to approach women you know or work with because you can't approach people you don't know and make conversation with them.

tl;dr, women lose interest quickly. Escalate or move on. I thought this was kind of misleading, lots of contextual examples to push his point. For this type of PUA this works but if you're not strictly a one night stand type baiting and entertaining interest plays a big role after the initial dates, sex is a decently large all-clear but for most people it isn't the end unless it was the goal.

I feel like you'll know more about how to read the situation than I would, dude. If it weren't you I'd probably chalk it up to lack of impression based on her friend giving you the thumbs down (and her agreeing enough to send it in a text message), letting her pick the location and crowd. But it is you, so I'm a bit lost here. Another thing to consider is that she might have felt like she was in over her head? With what you've given me to work with is that she seems like she needs to feel like s…

Yeah I wouldn't put too much weight on this, let it be what it is. I'd definitely escalate faster next time. Also, the 2 days later bit is a shit test, either disqualify it or respect it, don't ignore it. Read this: The Escalation Ladder

As in you seem worried about messing up the interaction. I don't know about self confidence, some self esteem will help as a buffer for when you fail though. What have you been reading exactly?

You sound like you're making AFC actions and describing them with PUA lingo. Obvious mistakes: Drinking too much, direct compliments.. you say you're maintaining an alpha role but you didn't write in much about you taking initiative. Could be just me but you seem a bit outcome dependent as well, which usually affects taking initiative. If you're looking for friends with benefits, yeah, it would have helped to escalate things faster as well (from my perspective). Worrying about what she thinks of…

I don't mean to sound like a total dick but you don't seem to really grasp the basics of what this subreddit is about. You should at least skim over some of the suggested reading, I think you'll find it pretty insightful. That said, I like helping out another bloke as much as the next guy but seddit isn't your anonymous livejournal. If you'd read through the stuff in the sidebar you should have realized your mistakes.

Also, I lied to her that evening and told her I have had a bunch of girlfriends before. She was very happy to hear this. Just curious, context? Not sure about anyone else but I'm getting a couple red flags here.
