Data architect / security enthusiast here. Happy to bounce ideas around wherever this is being discussed. Also, I have some connections in the blockchain world. Most of them are working on monetizing Ethereum trades, but it's a small enough community that there aren't that many degrees of separation between me and the folks who might be able to contribute here. Let me know!

Copy-pasting an older post: I'll try giving you a quick run-down. Take it with a grain of salt, obviously. What works for me might not work for you. Basic wardrobe (at 20): Bottoms: 2 pairs of jeans. Dark blue/gray. 1 pair of chinos. 1 pair of navy or steel gray "dress pants". These will come in handy in more formal situations. For fit: Fit around the waist without producing a paunch. At the same time, you shouldn't be able to fit more than three fingers down the front. When trying them on look …

It's probably because of porn / jerking off too much. I'd reduce the frequency those habits if I were you. I had the same "issue" throughout college. I just owned it and went "It just takes a lot of work to get me to cum" to anyone I slept with. A number of them took it as a challenge. My college LTR resorted to doing all sorts of depraved things just to get me to cum. Bear in mind, if you're not cumming, she's thinking "I'm fucking this up". Especially if she's used to someone who cums in 10 mi…

OP is right - sort of. I'm ethnic and I've had good success with women of all races. I won't pretend to go into some deep analysis of "my great qualities". I'm not ugly, I'm not fat, and I'm not afraid to approach - that's about it. That said, I have an example from my own life about the bias against 'ethnic men'. Long story short: Ran into a friend at a bar. His gf and gf's friend (honestly don't remember her name, let's call her Tina) were there. Tina and I fuck that night. Afterwards she admi…

Yes. I'm 5'10". The average height of women I've slept with is about 5'9". This includes women much taller than me (6'+) and about as short as 5'4". In getting laid (and in most aspects of life) the main factor is other peoples' perception of you. If you carry yourself like a 6'6" linebacker with a 14" dick, that is how they will treat you. Just be ready to back it up.

Here's what you do. Set up a dinner date. Tell her you're both going out in a week. Pick a place with a gentle din ambiance (think speakeasies). The day of, tell her to dress up a little. When she's almost done, walk up to her with a little pouch. This pouch contains a remote controlled vibrating bullet. Tell her it goes into the little slit in her panties. Leave it in her hand and step out. During the date, turn the vibrator on. Get one with multiple settings. Play with her, toy with her, tease…

If you're lifting for people's attention, you're lifting for the wrong reasons. Do it for personal growth and strength. Any external validation is simply a bonus. Disclaimer: I only lift once a week. I'm much more into boxing conditioning and street-fighter training (running situation-based MMA drills with buddies once or twice a week). I do it to make myself functionally stronger and more prepared for a real-life altercation. OP, you're right, people are charmed by those who are attractive. But…

There's one particular woman I work with, a fairly senior business-side partner, who was constantly derailing meetings by shouting and making sure everyone knows she's present and "participating". I have to admit, at first, I wasn't even consciously thinking "apply TRP here". I just started treating her like a child because that's what she was acting like. I would wait for her to finish shouting then, if she'd brought up a single valid point, address that and use it to open the conversation back…

Not sure what about my poste made your asshole tingle, but you did sort of ask: I work in the tech industry. I had different goals throughout college that didn't pan out. But that's why it helps to major in STEM - the backup plans are still fairly lucrative.

I already made close to 2x what she does but live at roughly the same level she does. Most of my pay check goes to savings. Just because she knows how much I have, doesn't mean I'm required to give it to her. And if the relationship ends because she whines about me not spending my extra income on her: eh..

Eh... Automation can work for you rather than against you. Depends on who's in charge. For instance, I have a salaried 40 hr/week job right now. There are a lot of "manual" aspects to my job (it's all done on computers, but the higher ups believe there needs to be a person at the computer doing the work). Things is, I automated upwards of 80% of my day-to-day tasks over a year ago. But upper management is blissfully unaware of this. As long as the people in charge are used to "the old ways" -- w…

I'll say this is true. There are obviously exceptions, and they are: Women who have no social pressure on them at the moment. This is very rare. You might find one in the corner of a house party or alone at a coffee shop. Intelligence and good self-esteem are a necessary pre-requisite for this. But it wont' shine through in a gaggle of girls. Women who try. I had an ex who was constantly trying. With them, it's a numbers game. If she tells 20 jokes, one's bound to land. Heck, I'll even admit som…

I agree with this in part. If you're not going to a top 20 school (maybe top 50) don't bother. It won't do too much (other than give you the right qualifications for a professional school like law, medical, or the likes). However, say you're hell-bent on attending college. Major in a STEM field and minor (or just take a bunch of classes) in philosophy. STEM fields will help make you hireable out of college. Philosophy will force you to read classic texts and analyze the thoughts and ideologies o…

I'm going to suggest specific ways to overcome the obstacles OP has laid out. Feel free to add on. Men do not have an in-group preference. You don't need an in-group. When you're out and about, make conversation, be lively, engage groups and people. When I started doing stand-up, one of the first things I did was start befriending the regulars at the open mics. Whether or not you sit alone is up to you. So don't. Male spaces have been contaminated. If a woman/girl is an outsider, treat her accor…

This is a great post. I have a question though: Is it necessarily a red flag when a man and a woman have been friends for a long time but don't date? I only ask because I've got a friend like that and I'd like input. To be honest, we've fucked more than a few times in the past (though not for the last 2 years), but I was never interested in a relationship with her (too dramatic for my tastes) and so it never came to be. At the same time, she's one of my oldest and best friends. She gives good ad…

Your mom didn't plan any of this. I wanted to write a full post on this a couple of weeks back when I was home for the holidays, but I had other things to do. Basically: the hardest part of swallowing the pill is realizing that AWALT applies to your mother. I had a moment with my mother where she angrily lashed out Her: "You've started treating me like I'm twelve!" Me: "And you're responding by throwing a temper tantrum?" (ear-to-ear grin) That's all it took to diffuse. But I realized at that mo…

OP, could you expand on how it went from her saying she didn't like that fantasy to being fully on board? I'm in a relatively similar situation right now. I'd say ultimatums test the power dynamic of your relationship. I had a friend who got consistent promotions by threatening to quit. He said the only reason it worked was because everybody knew he would follow through (which he eventually did). If the other person knows you're willing to walk away the moment you're fucked with, they will tread softly (provided that they feel you add value to their life). This is true in business, this is true in relationships.

Race is certainly an easy excuse. But it's not a completely invalid one. I live in North America, but I'm of south-east Asian descent. A few months ago, I traveled the UK a bit and definitely that the locals were wary of me when I first approached them, but became much warmer the moment an American accent left my lips. e.g. at one bar in London, an entire group of people crossed their arms and tightened their circle the moment they saw me approaching. But when I asked for a local beer recommenda…

I don't think I would've written an FR. I was only lurking on here back then. And I actually stopped going for women who were that empty. Honestly, if a girl can't engage in some witty banter, I'm not interested. Anyone can suck my dick. Why waste time on someone whose mouth is good for literally nothing else?

Yes, your initial impression matters. But are you really so empty inside that you can't overcome something as minor as "he wears glasses"? Earlier this year, I broke my knee. I was supposed to be on bed-rest, but a couple of friends were in town and wanted to go out. So I went out, on crutches, and in glasses. Spent the whole night enjoying myself, exaggerating how awkward my dancing was with the crutches, and making jokes with groups of girls. Kiss-closed an HB8 within an hour of being there. B…

Nope. I do stand-up once in a while. It's come up when me and my comedy friends are out talking to girls. And "say something funny" is almost always their response. I see "say something funny" as equivalent to "jump through this hoop for my approval". I just turn it around on them. e.g. Secretary (she'd mentioned earlier): You're a comedian? Say something funny! Me: Sure, but first, can you fetch me a cup of coffee and take down some notes for my 10 pm with that fine lady over there? Result: kis…

Replying to self here, but also: they know that's the answer you're gonna give them. They expect you to blow the question off and take that into stride. If I were in that role, I would begrudgingly respect anyone who refused to limit themselves so early on. Although I'm betting a lot of recruiters just see this "evasion" as a nuisance to their job (which is obviously to get the best guy for the least amount).

I am so glad I read this last night! I just had a first-call with a recruiter and he ended the entire conversation with the salary question. Honestly the first thing that popped into my mind was the True Romance quote, the second thing was sledgehammer, and I had to struggle to hold in my chuckles as I said "I think that's a conversation for a later stage once you've evaluated how much I'm worth and I've decided what I would accept for the position." Good post, man. Good post.

This. I have an ego problem (I rank extremely high on the narcissism spectrum). This means that the slightest external validation would set me off (and still does sometimes). But I know I have to look past that. ATM, my LTR is constantly fawning over my body. Plus a few women have been showing interest since I got into better shape. One of them used to literally ask me if I was "done with that girl you're seeing yet?" every few days before I told her to have some dignity. The thing is, I know I'…

I've looked into it a little and might start in the future. At the moment I've got very little free time to add new stuff. But I recently connected with a friend of a friend who does drunken kung fu (less Jackie Chan, more momentum shifts in the core and upper body to throw your opponent off balance). I don't know if this will be helpful to anyone else: I've always had a natural knack for music. As early as middle-school I used to cope with overwhelming feeling by writing songs (most were shitty). Since swallowing the pill, I've looked back on my life and choices (as recent as 8 months ago) and realized what a shit-head I was. The worst part for me is realizing later what the optimal way to act would have been in those situations. How I could have come out of situations on top. How I could ha…

The downside to Krav Maga is you're gonna have trouble finding "sparring partners". With boxing/ muay thai / tae kwon do, you'll always find people willing to spar at around 90% intensity. Krav maga is a little too lethal for that to be a possibility. You will end up learning a lot of amazing self-defense moves and takedowns. But they will almost invariably be disjointed moves in your larger arsenal. You won't get to practice the connectivity and flow between strikes/grapples/kicks that you can …

Where can I learn more about this side of fighting? At a gym. Most UFC's offer classes. If you're interested in a particular style, google that style and your zipcode, you're likely to find something. Try out a few classes and figure out which setup, instructor, and times work best for you. What websites, articles, videos and books show what you're talking about here? You're missing the point. This isn't theory. Go hit a bag. Have someone take a look at you once in a while and correct major mist…

Try recording yourself (or have someone at the gym record you). Watching myself fight gave me a ton of insight about what I was doing wrong (and right). It can be difficult to remember every moment in the fight afterwards. The recording will allow you to think critically about your mistakes and how to correct them.

Just started sparring this year. But I was having this conversation with a friend yesterday: Once you've been in the ring a few times, you're much less prone to violence outside the ring. I think it's because you learn the impact a fight can have. You know how much damage you can do and how much damage can be done to you. And most out-the-ring scenarios aren't worth either of those.

I agree with your main point OP. That being said, revenge can help get you started. I went through a bad breakup about a year ago. A lot of what I did in the aftermath was fueled by some pathetic revenge fantasy, but it's made me better. I got into great shape. I cultivated hobbies that I enjoy and people love to hear about. Depends on where you are. The average male height in the US is 5'9". Up to two inches below that could still be considered statistically "average", but somehow I doubt women are considering error margins when they evaluate how tall you are. Regardless, I'd say own your height man. Between my two best friends, one is 6'2" and a virgin at 25, the other is 5'6" and has a slew of HB9s (some shorter than him, some taller) jumping into his bed. Why? You can also get lifted insoles, or just be comfortable at your size. Growing up, one of my legs was about an inch shorter than the other. They've evened out since, but I had a lifted insole in one shoe pretty much most of my childhood (mostly for balance and so I didn't walk with a limp). I've still got a pair of extra-inch insoles in the back of my closet somewhere. I pull them out once or twice a year for important business meetings or job interviews. Even before I swallowed the red pill, this was something common for me. I did consider those actually. Not everyone you spar with is looking to lethally maim you. The chance for brain injury is higher than it is in crocheing, but a majority of sparring sessions - at least at the beginner level - are fairly safe. Also, I'm a little surprised by the number of people talking about fucking up their joints or wrists. You can do that by having poor form while lifting. The mistake is assuming you're friends. If they don't see you as a friend, physical contact of any sort immediately triggers "aggressor" warnings in their head. If I make physical contact with female coworkers, it will be initiated by them (hugs at after-work events or something) and ended shortly thereafter by me. This doesn't have to affect your frame though. I've gotten "are you too cool to hug me properly?!" ("Yep!" wink ... turn around to greet someone else).

From what you say, it seems like you'd already sort of started at the point you realized you didn't want to fuck her. When I find myself in your position, I typically stop fucking. I'll give her the honest reason why I don't want to carry on. Then I'll go down on them (unless it's a rando I had no intention of seeing again, in which case I just leave), and proceed to go to sleep. Usually ends in morning sex.
