5	Sometimes I feel like I don’t fit the standards we hold men to here. I am also single parent to a boy, following domestic abuse (against me, not my son). I feel guilt all the time that in fleeing I've deprived my son of a male influence, so I get it. 1	Did you guys have a 'moment' when the true meaning of being a queen finally hit you like a brick wall? I found this sub a couple of weeks ago almost 2 years after leaving my NVM ex-husband, after he pushed a pillow in my face and physically and verbally threatened my life.
