3	Difference Between Seeking Approval and Talking About Yourself I was asking more in general than a specific instance. That's a great analogy though, thanks for the tip! I guess I do bring things up out of the blue, as well as one-upmanship. But sometimes I simply want to tell people about the things I've been doing in my life. I find that if I do want to share something, I may guide the conversation in that direction.
