If you have Xfinity, the app is really clear about what devices are connected. And easy to boot off. I’m sure it’s the same for other providers, but I’m only familiar with Xfinity

Fun fact: placing a tracking device on a car without the owner’s consent is a crime. In my state it’s a class A misdemeanor

I drank. It was not a productive coping mechanism. I strongly advise against it. Once I got over THAT, I started to rediscover myself as myself. When you’re married you can lose little bits of yourself and it’s nice to reclaim them. It’s part of the uncoupling process.

I would hope so too. But alas, there’s no criminal penalty for alienation and not following up to the decree. But she did get community service hours. So I guess that’s as harsh as they could do? But yet, a guy will go to jail for not paying child support

Mine was a particularly egregious case. So I explained with dates and everything how things have occurred over the years. They filed a motion to change the petition to 50/50 custody. I think that was a clever move because the only thing she really cared about was the child support money. So when that was threatened, she perked up. Eventually that was changed to a motion to enforce. It laid out the details of the alienation allegations. I was extremely detailed with dates and exactly what happene…

I give full credit to my very expensive lawyer. It did take a very long time though

Well yes. And there was other abuse going on too. Child protective services really let me down. Like five times over

No criminal. But she is responsible for the lawyer’s fees and has community service hours to do

When I went to court for, um, something, another guy was there for putting a tracking device on someone’s car without their knowledge

I did. It was in an attempt at reconciliation. Eventually it just stopped once we realized we couldn’t reconcile.

She says that they're making the choice that they don't want to spend time with me. I'm also not on the approved list at their schools to pick them up.

Facebook dating has a lot of normies on it because it's tied to their public Facebook profile. I had success there

I wasn't looking for a relationship after my divorce. It was a bitter and nasty thing with a lot of trauma. After 3 years, I decided to try. Online dating was all I had time for and that was a minefield of silliness. Then I met this lady who was also divorced and had kids. We hit it off immediately. Although neither one of us was looking to remarry. But lo and behold here we are getting married next week. It's been nice because she understands the importance of kids and had her own horrible divo…

My decree says the amount would change if it's a permanent 10% increase OR decrease in my pay.

I tried. But they would only look at it if the change of income was permanent and a loss of employment in Utah where I'm from isn't considered permanent. If I became unable to work for some reason permanently then they would have looked at it

I finally was able to find a good job in December. I was working every part time crappy job I could before just so I could continue to make the payments. I burned through all the savings I had stored up too, so it's back to square one. But I'm glad I made it through

I got laid off twice last year and still had to pay my child support through it all. It was a terrible time to be sure. It was every penny I had sometimes

I've been married twice and both exes created an elaborate after tale about things. It's a way to find closure without assigning any blame to themselves. That's essentially why it's a meme that "all my exes were narcissists". Dudes do it too though but not with the same themes

Moving out of your own home is a very traumatic event to go through when a relationship goes south. Don't take it lying down. It's just as much your right as it is hers

Even if it is a rebound relationship there's nothing wrong or unhealthy about that. It can help you process things and heal and move on.

I put in a clause that the alimony would last until she cohabitated or remarried. Well, my ex cohabitated with her boyfriend a month after the decree went through so I never actually had to pay alimony at all. Glad I put that in there.
