I mean if you look at the numbers he is stating and he isn't exaggerating the number of sets he does in a week. By the time he hit the 6 month mark he had around 480 approaches. After doing something 480 times you're going to get a hell of a lot better at it.

Now if you aren't putting in a 110% effort now you might not want to continue with engineering. I'm in Computer Science program right now and it is extremely demanding.
