Well, you could say the testing is only required for the potential father to be found and surrender the child for adoption. Does that make sense? If the father is known or doesn't desire a test, then no rest is needed. The issue is in a world where women's parentage is guaranteed by biology, but men's is not, means it might be needed to figure out who the father is. Ok, let's start here. I absolutely agree. So imagine the system as I describe it, with those assumed requirements. Paternity tests to confirm possible fathers if one is not almost certain (test can and should be done anyway), when putting up child for adoption, need consent from the biological father.
