Never expected this post would have me so impressed with men's rights activists. I love seeing you guys focus in the issues that really face men in society, its awesome.

This is obviously fake, lmao.

Isn't it usually that men join the incel community, and they gatekeep that term? They're the ones who made up the phrase femcel. Women didn't make that up. A woman did make up the term incel, however.
/r/MensRights04/03/22 07:31 PM

Another fun fact, it's a woman who made up the term "incel," not dudes.

I don't understand what the guy did wrong here. It was probably an accident, people generally don't make loud noises on purpose like that. And he tried to apologize.

You literally said "what feminists call all man."
/r/MensRights04/03/22 05:59 PM

Feminist here, and I definitely don't call all men that. That was a pretty bitter generalization.

She is not an abuser and we KNOW THAT. HE SQUARED UP TO FIGHT HER FIRST. STOP IGNORING THAT PART. You're such a liar.
/r/MensRights09/02/22 03:57 PM

Lol, I absolutely would and have said that. Don't start fights, it's pretty simple. But there you go again, having to make up things to be a victim. If other people want to fight, it's none of your business. If men and women want to fight, it's none of your business. But stop acting like the man is a victim here, and stop lying.
/r/MensRights09/02/22 03:54 PM
-5

The context is irrelevant. We have enough context to know they were both participating and voluntarily chose to fight one another. If you have to make stuff up in order to be the victim, you're not the victim, and that's what the rest of your comment is. And that's what you did. You made up a scenario to make yourself and other men the victim. In this situation, there is no victim. He just lost, and no one cares about your ego. It's strange how you probably admit that you're sexist, but you're o…

You really can't stop talking, can you? You have to have the last word, even when you know you're wrong. Is that to compensate for your real world failures? I have so many questions.
/r/MensRights23/04/20 06:51 PM

See? I'm so important to you you're still repeating yourself. 😂😂😂
/r/MensRights23/04/20 06:41 PM

Yet you're still bullshitting and making shit up. Almost like you can't leave without the last word. Dare you not to answer.
/r/MensRights23/04/20 06:29 PM
0

Oh no, I'm trolling because you refuse to debate in good faith. You're just an asshole who repeats himself over and over because that's easier than losing a debate. That's unfair, actually. I'm not sure you know how debate works, so I certainly can't expect you to do it well. Just a side note: dozens of subs have banned you. Everyone else in the world isn't the problem. Cute wife, though.
/r/MensRights23/04/20 06:11 PM
0

Oh absolutely. I read your post history - for four years you've run away from every debate when asked for evidence and argument, same as you've done here for three days. So yes, I'm just mocking you now. You spent all that time just repeating yourself because you have no idea how economics or scientific analysis works. Fuck, you're not even smart enough to dungeons and dragons well. Just curious, how is it that one gets to their forties without being even marginally successful?
/r/MensRights23/04/20 04:32 PM
0

So you don't know what it means, and that's why you couldn't identify what metrics you wanted. Because you know nothing about economic valuations. How embarrassing for you.
/r/MensRights23/04/20 01:41 PM
0

You don't know what that means, do you?
/r/MensRights23/04/20 01:10 PM
0

Let me clarify. I have the metrics, I do not have them compiled and compared. Which ones do you want?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 11:40 PM
0

Not even a little bit. I have all of various metrics that exist, and so do you. It's simply a matter of compiling and comparing the data. I don't have them compiled or compared because I haven't received what metrics you consider valid. "Pull" means put the data together. What are the metrics? Why are you refusing to answer? You don't get to demand evidence and refuse to say what evidence you find acceptable. Do you know what metrics for valuation are? Yes or no.
/r/MensRights22/04/20 11:25 PM
0

I don't have any of them at this point; I won't pull any metrics until I know what's going to satisfy your demand. I will, however be happy to provide them with a detailed analysis and comparison once you let me know which metrics you think should be the foundation for creating the valuation of the task.
/r/MensRights22/04/20 11:07 PM
0

That depends on what metrics you want to use. You know, the thing I keep asking for.
/r/MensRights22/04/20 10:57 PM
0

I know we have valuation metrics for every profession, yes. I'm asking which ones you want to evaluate equivalency. So which ones do you want?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 03:15 PM
0

I'm happy to provide it - I'm asking what specific metrics you want provided. Time expenditures weren't sufficient for you. So what valuation metric(s) do you want?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 02:44 PM
0

I can't provide data until you tell me what metrics you're using to establish valuation. First, let me ask if you know what metrics to establish valuation means? Because we literally have agencies that track that data. You don't have any education in economics, do you?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 01:58 PM
0

We do have that data, just like we had other data you claimed we don't. You just need to establish what the metrics are so I can provide it. What are the metrics?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 01:48 PM
0

Right, that's the argument you're now advancing. So what are the metrics to establish the valuation of the labor?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 02:23 AM
0

No, I didn't claim they were equivalent or not, because that wasn't the question at issue. I simply noted the information. What are the metrics for equivalency?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 02:13 AM
0

No, I didn't claim any specific equivalency, because until you got finally couldn't deny being shown up, that wasn't your argument. What are the metrics to establish equivalency and how are you weighting them for valuation? Why is an hour of dishwashing not equivalent to an hour of roofing?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 01:41 AM
0

Sure, and I backed that up with the time expended. 34 hours per week to 10 hours per week. You said that's not equivalent. So what's the metrics for equivalency and how do you quantify that to valuations?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 12:24 AM
0

How can I provide data if you don't specify what data you're asking for? You said we don't have data on "masculine chores" versus "feminine chores." We do, and you've acknowledged that. You now claim they are not equivalent, so what are the metrics you're looking for to qualify that? Are you arguing we don't have data on the equivalency of those chores and their value? Because if that's your new argument, you'll need to clarify as asked above so I can provide it to you.
/r/MensRights22/04/20 12:14 AM
0

What are the metrics you're looking for to qualify equivalency? What are the specific task comparisons you'd like? Like oil v laundry? Please list them. Lastly, once the equivalency is established, what barometer do you want in order to qualify the value?
/r/MensRights22/04/20 12:04 AM
0

We do have the data. I just provided it to you. You claimed it didn't exist, and it does. That's not equivalency. You say they aren't equivalent now. So what's the metrics?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 11:21 PM
0

Ah, changing the goal posts again. Why are they not equivalent and how are we objectively defining that? How are you valuing it?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 11:11 PM
0

Prove what? I'm withdrawing the study and I provided one that meets your requirements unequivocally. It's withdrawn, there's zero burden. I let it go because we disagree on it. I've provided further evidence. Do you have a problem with that evidence?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 11:00 PM
0

Nope, I'm just letting it go so we can move on. You refuse to believe "household responsibilities" includes them, and it's not worth belaboring. So I'm withdrawing that study as presentation, since it won't satisfy you. In its stead, I've provided a whole other study for you. See above. It even used the language you demand. You're still wrong. Not only do those chores not take nearly as long, and not only men often not do them, they don't take the same amount of time and we have the data you cla…

What do you want for proof? I've given the study and the location of the exact answer within it. What specifically do you want? I'm happy to provide proof, but you're need to let me know exactly what proof will satisfy you. Tell you what, let's just cast that study aside and use another, since you don't believe that one has the data you want. So here's another study. On average, "men's tasks" take 17 hours, and "women's tasks" take 34 hours - that's a 2-year longitudinal study. https://www.seatt…

It's on page 13 of the report, ass clown - household responsibilities. It's literally right there. What other proof do you need?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 10:27 PM
0

It's right there in the data sets. And is also irrelevant regardless, since men aren't doing that intermittent labor - a significant percent is outsourced. I keep explaining this to you. You just keep repeating yourself. What, exactly, do you want for proof? If you say it's not quantified or done properly, it's your job to prove that, not mine. You don't just repeat yourself because you lost and you're embarrassed by it. Prove it doesn't include it.
/r/MensRights21/04/20 10:16 PM

Here you go. Again. https://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2015/11/04/raising-kids-and-running-a-household-how-working-parents-share-the-load/ It's right there in the data sets. Which, as I've pointed out, is still irrelevant since a significant percentage of that labor, which is intermittent, is outsourced.
/r/MensRights21/04/20 10:05 PM

Prove what? That roof labor, lawnscaping, and vehicle maintainence are often outsourced labor? Vehicles: The DPT of Labor estimates the need for 76,000 mechanics to be added to the existing 750,000 in the country in order to keep up with existing and projected demands: https://www.sun-sentinel.com/business/fl-ne-auto-tech-shortage-nationwide-who-will-fix-our-cars-20190809-bm77cet2jfgqdcpe2rekebll6u-story.html Roofers have a "much higher than expected" employment growth and projection rate at 12%…

It didn't exclude that labor. It clearly factored it in and even delineated it. You clearly did not read the study provided and have zero argument to make. I know your type - you form your opinions without facts and refuse to acknowledge anything that rebuts them, which is certainly your right but not anything I choose to engage in. That's unfortunate, because I'm sure we could have found some interesting talking points, but it's clear you have no interest in actual debate. Have a good week, bud…
/r/MensRights21/04/20 09:31 PM

Oh, I'm sorry, and please explain why that should be weighted equally to indoor domestic work, since the work you've described is intermittent work and frequently outsourced.
/r/MensRights21/04/20 08:57 PM
0

I did prove it. With the study. If you disagree on the methodology or what it factors, that's your rebuttal burden, meaning that's on you to cite certain portions of the study. That's how debate works. So how did they not factor them properly or weight them properly?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 08:46 PM
0

Yes, I did. Pew absolutely provided all of that data, and even weighted it. Do you need me to provide the study again? Indoor and outdoor work were factored, as were two party working households. Did you read the study?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 08:29 PM
0

Again, not lying. This is a dead horse, however, and a moot point. Because we have that data and I provided it. Are you ready to move forward and discuss it?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 05:43 PM
0

No, you didn't. Regardless, you're still wrong. We do have that data, and I provided it. Do you want to have a substantive conversation or not?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 05:31 PM
0

That isn't what you claimed. You claimed we lacked data on two person working households and domestic division, as well as a lack of data on division of all chores. We do have all of that data, and I provided it. Look, dude, do you want to have an actual debate, or are you just determined to get the last word? Because as soon as I provided data, you refused to engage in substantive conversation and I don't like wasting my time.
/r/MensRights21/04/20 05:07 PM
0

No I'm not and no you have not. Why did you claim workload division was even and that we lack data about two parent working households when the data shows that to be untrue?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 12:47 PM
0

Why are you unwilling to argue anything of substance? Why do you keep ignoring the facts of the matter? Are you afraid you're wrong and you'll lose?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 03:44 AM
0

I'm not lying - but I think we've hashed this pedantic misunderstanding to death. If it's super important to you, though, give me what time frame you consider traditional and I'll be happy to provide evidence. So let's talk substance. Your claims were incorrect - labor division is not equal and we do have that data. Let's discuss why you believe that labor division is equal? Do you have supporting evidence for that claim?
/r/MensRights21/04/20 12:55 AM
0

No, it doesn't. Because traditionally, women did those things when women were largely homemakers. You are really underestimating what women did in maintaining a home when we speak traditionally. Moreover, tradition doesn't mean anything. It doesn't give us an objective metric that you were referring to, so your failure to clearly communicate belongs to you, not me. It doesn't give us a time frame, it doesn't give us objective metrics determine what qualifies, and it doesn't consider cultural dis…
/r/MensRights20/04/20 11:13 PM

Saying "women's traditional housework" does not in any way exclude a specific chore, so no, I missed nothing at all. The point you're ignoring, however, is that the study did address what you are now complaining about.
/r/MensRights20/04/20 10:30 PM

Oy John Galt. I just think MRAs are fascinating, and the reason is that there really are male-centric systemic issues in the US. But MRAs never do anything about them, and from my admittedly limited observation, they never seem to fight for them, campaign for legislative reform, etc. They don't even talk about them. That's what makes MRAs so silly to me, same with the MGTOW crowd. It's about hating women, not helping men.
/r/MensRights20/04/20 07:55 PM

That was not a point you made, nor did you claim certain data would be missing from a study I hadn't yet posted. You're raising it now. What you said was the split is 50/50 and that we don't have data on two parent working households in terms of domestic responsibilities. So that's what I rebutted. Please stop moving goalposts. Notice that the work you now commented on is not daily or even weekly work for the most part. It's intermittent work, and other than yardwork, is largely outsourced work,…

I don't think the value swings particularly wildly, but that isn't what's being assessed when it comes to a division of assets, and it's not an argument I made. My entire point was that the labor exists, and that there is value to that labor when it comes to a division of assets. His argument attempted to be that there used to be a 50/50 division of that labor, which has never been true, and/or that that labor has no intrinsic value, which is simply not true. If both parties decide that one part…
/r/MensRights20/04/20 07:06 PM

Yes, actually they do disagree that everything is split equally. And we do have two person working household data. In fact, see below for an analysis of both. It includes parenting and domestic chores. https://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2015/11/04/raising-kids-and-running-a-household-how-working-parents-share-the-load/
/r/MensRights20/04/20 06:56 PM

Statistics disagree that everything else is split. In fact, that's rarely the case even in two-person working households. That's also not a qualifier you were using before. Way to move the goalposts. Suddenly the working spouse is doing half of the household load as well? Also, if cleaning your house takes an hour, you have a filthy house and please stop bragging about it. Picking up your house takes an hour. Cleaning your house should take several hours. Picking up alone, however, takes much lo…
/r/MensRights20/04/20 06:45 PM

I was listing them. Your point was that all of that takes 2 hours a week. My point is if it took 2 hours a week, all of those things wouldn't be getting done. Do you have kids? Do you know what kind of care they require?
/r/MensRights20/04/20 06:33 PM
1

Sure, but that isn't what I asked. Just because single people do it all on their own doesn't mean non-working spouses don't contribute. By your very logic, that's a lot of extra work single people do. I'd hope I'm aware of what single parents do, being as I am one. By acknowledging this non-paid workload, you're acknowledging that non-working spouses do that workload. Which means they do work.
/r/MensRights20/04/20 06:17 PM

So what you're saying is you keep a filthy house, don't grocery shop or cook, you don't pay bills, and you don't drive anywhere? You don't help with homework, discipline your children or spend any time with them? Because that's the only way you could argue that takes 2 hours a week. Are you trying to argue that if a spouse gives up their career to stay home and raise children, take care of the household, etc., that they should be left destitute in the event of a divorce? Or does that only apply …

So those things all coordinate themselves, run themselves, cook themselves, transport themselves, pay for themselves, etc.? Your argument has been made a hundred times, and it's still not true.
/r/MensRights20/04/20 05:46 PM

That doesn't mean they do all the work in the marriage. That means they're the breadwinner. An unemployed spouse absolutely contributes to the working spouse's career success. The unemployed spouse does plenty of work.

I like how first, you ignore where I agree men's mental health care is sorely lacking in the US, and needs extensive reform. I like how you also ignore how men are the reason it is this way, not women. "Being mad" has nothing to do with a crusade to rail at society, especially to demonize women. By your own admission, women never abused you. Most importantly, this isn't how actual therapy or groups take place. Demonizing an entire gender is not therapeutic. It's an excuse. So....?

That's true, 90% is as made up as the comic. They need time to heal? From not getting women to behave subserviently to them? 😂😂 Because society, and women specifically, are at fault for not getting your way in life? You guys are a real trip. Healing. There are real problems men face in society, but your "hyperbole" is not it. You're displacing your discontent, it's painfully obvious.

What does what math I took in undergrad or grad school matter in regards to this discussion? That's a fairly arbitrary metric. So everything I did in high school, the military, college, grad school, and my career is erased if I didn't take two specific math courses? Can you explain why those two - which aren't the most difficult courses, categorically speaking - are the barometer you've assigned to determine my intellect? Then why is the entirety of the subreddit devoted to blaming women? It's over 90% of posts. You can hardly make this specious claim when all evidence points to the contrary.

This is an interesting assertion. So men are only bad if they stand behind women in situations in which you disagree with the woman's actions? Wouldn't your exact example be a situation in which those men are victims of a gynocentric society, which is directly the fault of women? Making them...victims of women? Clarify this for me? This is true, I don't personally know you. From everything I've seen here and in real life, however, both in terms of your people and society, it's not exactly an unr…

Ok. How was this an experiment in "giving [me] a taste of equality?" You would have had no way to know that I would see it, or that anyone would, or that I would respond. Once I did, you'd need a purpose for such an experiment. What purpose was that? Going your own way is pretty clearly defined as rejecting societal norms and women as a whole. Constantly discussing women and discussing no other subject does not indicate that at all. As the incels would say, it's a cope. I explained what I bring …

We both know that wasn't the source of the question.

I can tell that her personality was made to be horrible. Absolutely. I also see you claiming that this comic represents actual women - ALL actual women. Which was the subject of my commentary. Not this particular fictional woman, but the reality its intended to be representing.

I can't imagine any situation in which anyone actually says any of this; that's why it's irrelevant what gender is supposedly saying this - because this doesn't happen. This isn't representative of women as a whole, nor men. But let's say, for the sake of argument, that it does. It's okay for both genders to want partnership, and it's okay for both genders to want to be valued for who they are, not just "what they bring to the table."

Ever? Only? By whom? By society, or by each individual woman? Because I personally don't see men that way. I don't know many people - men or women - who do. I do agree that society tends to value men less for who they are, but that's an overarching issue, not because women individually devalue men. But even if that were true, in what way are you "going your own way" by "giving [me] a taste of equality," especially with a comic on Reddit? In what way does that give anyone what you purport it does…

I'm pretty familiar with AA, and yes, you talk about your problems. You don't externalize the blame for them, which is what you're doing here. Yes, you do hate men as much as women - because you see them as victims of women. It's an odd hill to die on, but to each their own. Your Reddit life is your real life. For most of you, it's the bulk of your lives. Let's also not pretend this nonsense doesn't bleed into your real life personality. I've met several of you, and you're not bifurcating the wa…

I wasn't aware your final question was directed to me. I thought you were speaking in generalities. Do you want to know what I personally bring to the table in terms of a relationship? I'm funny, smart, adventurous, and loyal. I own my house, I have a career, I'm educated with no student loans, and I make good money. I'm pretty and I do choose to partake in societal norms regarding physical attractiveness, but that's my choice. I actually don't look for "good men," I'm interested mostly in humor…

Well, this is a non-productive response to avoid actual debate. What does it matter what I am? Can't you debate the subject matter without identity politics?

Well, no. AA is about an honest, inward look at oneself and making amends for poor choices. In fact, AA doesn't allow you to blame others for any of the ills in your life. MGTOW is about blaming women for every ill in society and taking no responsibility for your own choices, whatsoever. There isn't a post here where any of you take an apportionment of responsibility for your choices in life. Which is unfortunate because otherwise, the idea of going your own way is rather appealing. But you don'…

That's true. Nothing in the comic suggests much of anything at all. We infer reasoning behind the comic, but it's fairly baseless, even in a leading, unrealistic comic designed solely to demonize women.

Yes, and your life revolves around women while claiming not to care one whit about us. You can hardly say you're going your own way when your life revolves around demonizing women with hyperbolic scenarios that are largely unlikely, and devoid of context. What of it? That's hardly relevant to the conversation, anymore than my avatar is. Can we stay on topic? The topic here is what you're inferring from this comic versus what I'm inferring.

Well, it would appear that he's uninterested in doing chores, cooking, or any facet of his potential mate beyond what she does for him. That's not really partnership at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
