The judges closing remarks were a bit concerning. Basically "I don't know why they do what they do, I'm just here to do what I'm told, good luck" The jury being kept in the dark about the mandatory sentence is, to me, a bit nuts, but I'm sure left this wide open for appeal to at least a lesser sentence. Sure she belongs in jail, but life is bat shit crazy.
