If you want to lose weight, lift to attempt to keep the muscle you have and do cardio. Main thing for losing weight though is a decent diet. Once you hit goal weight and you want to increase muscle mass, lay off the cardio a bit. But again, it's all about diet.

We had a couple hours of natural good conversation and we we're all laughing and enjoying the evening. She decided to talk about her crazy ex's and I listened. I asked pointed questions like, did he make you feel like you were the only person that mattered/was he withholding/were you withholding/etc. I wasn't interested in this one like I said, and she is almost 40 (39). So I poked deeper trying to find out if she had hit the wall (or more specifically if she was aware that she had) and the dude…

I find this the hardest as I start down this road because I always am insistent on truth. I need to let it naturally become apparent through my behavior instead, and I just came off whiny and bitter and I'm really not. Thanks for the talk.
