Hey brother I know the feeling. My wife had an affair and is still with the guy and even though I fought for her and we have 4 kids she didn’t care and continues to hurt me. The best thing I can tell you is stop having sex with her, get your own place, and get a good lawyer and start separating yourself mentally. It’s taken me months to finally accept and better myself. Going to the gym reading, therapy, and good friends. Don’t get me wrong it still hurts to think about at times but I gotta beli…

I’m dreading going back to that situation in a few weeks. I will be moving back in with her and the kids after my deployment for a few. Months. G-d I hope it’s not to crazy. I’m doing all you are too, gym, therapy, sober life, and tons of reading. I’m just going to try to take my kids out as much as I can and hopefully she just goes with her affair guy and leaves me to be with the kids

Yup same here…. And rather then standing my ground or saying something I gave in a paid for laundry service, bought a $1200 vacuum that mops and vacuums and everything else she wanted meanwhile she was a stay home mom didn’t work

Yehh FWB is the worst thing you could do…. You need to get to the gym, and read, meditate, understand where those lonely feelings are coming from. You need to be ok with being alone and being able to find the things you love to do by yourself or with friends so that when the time comes you want to share those with a companion and know your not doing it just to be with that person. It’s not easy and hurts at times, but once you get it, it’s very freeing and allows you to truly enjoy life.

I appreciate it guys a lot! I am working through it and your right she’s is not the same woman or she is exactly the same. I refused to see the red flags when we first met and she love bombed me and she just did it again to this guy…. I got 2 older kids and 2 babies….. I have def confided in friends and contacted lawyers. Also getting backs into my faith but yehh still hurts and it’s going too. I just know I gotta get through it. I appreciate the help and support from you all.

I’m in the exact same situation but we have kids so I can’t just no contact and ghost her. I can’t stop caring and loving her but the pain she causes me sucks and I just want her back but I know I shouldn’t

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
