Well if you're not turned on you're not turned on. Turn the lights off? Adjust your standards? Cause if she's great at sex....then you're being a begging chooser to be honest. You ever see the triangle of construction? It's like that. Looks, Personally, Sex. Pick Two.

Had a great girlfriend. The way I felt about her I wanted to marry her. Then we had sex. And there was just...no compatibility. We enjoyed intimacy more than intercourse. This was also during COVID so stress may have been a factor, but still, sexual compatibility is important in a relationship. And it seems like you don't have that. There is one possibility you didn't consider. Bringing it to her attention and getting at least her POV on it. If you're intent on breaking it off, what would it hur…

I'm not the one that should be focusing on grammar. Appearance and presentation matters. And that includes communication, unless you think women are turned on by 1337. Also I'm not the one reading women's fanfiction, so I have no idea where you got that idea. So you should add comprehension to your things to work on as well, you'll be a better person and hence a better seducer as a result should you choose to do so. Up to you.

No. It's a construct, a simulacrum, a fantasy. You're trying to live up to an unreal expectation in terms of appearance, skill and personality. It's a tall order to fulfill even though it's a lofty goal. The only trick is practice and persistentnce. You need to know how to talk before you know how to seduce.

It's not a bad assumption. Even if they aren't, it doesn't change the result, but OP will at least feel more confident. And THAT will lead to more confidence etc.

.....He texted. I told me next time talk. Written vs verbal. Huge difference in medium. Even with emoji and voice to type, come on, this is impersonal. We use words we seldom use, cadence we don't use when we write. The reader controls the ace, hence it is our of OPs hands. On the other hand, a call is warm, friendly. You can hear the voice. You can be yourself. But apparently I'm the asshole here for daring to suggest the time honored method of talking 🤷

You should have expected this respondse Can't say I did. Well, because we aren't face to face or setup in a manner for verbal communication for starters, so I'm afraid in this scenario, since you do not have my number and nor I yous, talking would be quite difficult, no? I suppose we have to work like this. And secondly. No, seriously. You have two numbers from two women. Clearly you have some kind of game going on, so more power to you. HOWEVER, what kind of sympathy or empathy or advice do you…

This is like that time Homer asked Marge to the prom, then she got pissed at him after she said yes, and he didn't talk to her because he thought she'd cancel. Except she ended up going with Artie Ziff.

No, I understand perfectly. You had zero interaction with two girls, tried to set up a date, and did fuck all of nothing in terms of communication and are now wondering why these women that haven't talked to this guy except an apparent brief text exchange in nearly two weeks has cancelled their plans from two weeks ago. Does that sum it up, or am I missing some degree of insight here aside? So. Why were you texting and not talking. Think about that.

Why were you texting and not talking. If you talked to them and they told you to get lost...would it make a difference?

That is literally Exposure Therapy and many smart people with doctoral degrees in psychology subscribe to it. And he's right to a degree. With practice in any task, one gains proficiency. We learn what works and what does not work and should discard what does not work, while at the same time seeking to improve what actually does work. The trick is improvisation and adaptation and making it your own.

Gotcha. So let's do this instead. Hypothetical. Suppose YOU were in my position here. What would you do? Not a take, not really advice for me, but what would you do in this situation? Because at the very least if she, maybe I can adapt it.

It's a very difficult thing. It's a kitchen and even our slow nights are busy. I'm naturally shy and introverted (or soni thought. Look, I've gone through a lot of growth and development in the last year for the better. I'm not used to getting this kind of attention if I am at all. And I am. Just yesterday a guy was trying to hit on me, complimenting my body. And...I mean not to brag but I am proud of what I've accomplished. Validation. And if he's attracted -a perfect stranger, sexual preferenc…

Bro. Looking at your history really quick.....get into a gym. Work out. Start building something you feel proud of. Then you start gaining confidence. I know because this time last year I was over 270 and now I'm in my 150s with a six pack. And THAT is a major boost to confidence. It's not that hard. It just takes discipline.
