Seriously this should be stickied! I would even go as to say outside of dating, this is how we should function. A healthy person should easily integrate both masculine and feminine energies - with work, family, friends, and mostly importantly with ourselves. The integration of both energies can be imagined as mixing two colors together, into a harmonious mixture that ebbs and flows. Femininity is like water, and masculinity is the roadwork that guides it. Just my 2 cents 😋

Oh I am super grateful about that! ‘Tis why I choose to not date anyone right now, and if I do happen to meet someone and choose to date him, he would be worth my while.

Because most TV shows and even movies are approved by men. And patriarchy has errybody believe women exist to please men. Ergo a “picky” woman is bad because she isn’t playing into being a doormat.

Probably also talked to him like “does my hubbo want some joo joo? Yeeesss? You want joo joo? Oh no, your diaper needs to be changed, boo boo. What did I tell you? No joo joo unless you pee on the potty.” Ok I’m done.

Lol promise rings. They remind me of those ringpop candies i used to eat and then wear around as kids. Just these are glorified. Idk why they remind me of them haha. On the other hand, I’m saving money to get myself my dream engagement ring (cause I’m forever devoted to loving myself). I highly recommend to treating ourselves in someway that continues to nourish our sense of self, worth and soul.

No kidding. Positions played yesterday morning in my shuffled list and I was just waking up. Usually I don’t listen to lyrics too closely but this one just gave me the “wtf is this mess?” feeling and switched to something different lol. I love how when we level up our mentality, we just can’t even stomach songs like these even if the tune is catchy

Thank you for offering a different perspective. That’s definitely eye opening for me. And in a way it makes more sense to me now. Nowadays there’s no excuse for a person to not know how to cook. Internet is easily accessible for most people and there are cheap cookbooks to learn from. I see some men who don’t know how to cook and it’s just 🤢🤢🤢

Lol what a joke. Serious question (and a bit of a brag), I see this a lot in Western culture so there’s a bit of disconnect for me. When my parents married, my mom didn’t know how to cook so my dad did all the cooking (including prepping etc) and he still does a lot of cooking even now. I’d say most of the time my parents cook together. Also in my culture, it’s seen as a plus for men to cook. So growing up here in the US and dating the men here is just so bizarre to me that so many of them don’t…

My only questions are: where has she been in terms of thinking about how YOU are feeling? And why is your feeling less important than hers, just because she has mental illness? Please think hard about that and the answer will suddenly become apparent. Until the day you are absolutely never sorry for the ways you feel regardless of the company you keep, you will be taken advantaged of. Frankly, I do not give a rats ass if someone has mental illness or physical illness if that means I have to shri…

I wonder if it was from discord. We had an infiltration from mgtow that caused a huge overhaul of the discord server. Before then users were posting pictures of their bodies (unaware that there were males in the server).

I’m really loving this! More immediate goals to kickstart 2020 are: Finish my training plan and race my first 5K! Finalize and resubmit my manuscript and get it published ASAP. Some long term goals for 2020: Lose the last 15-20lb, shouldn’t be a problem with clean eating and exercise. Advance in my career. Start a company with my friend in my spare time. Read more bo…

You should read the sidebar and some of the recommended books. There’s a lot to unpack here and it’s not as simple as to give you a bullet list of tips. The tips wouldn’t even be helpful until you have reoriented your mindset when it comes to yourself and men.

Calling his exes crazy, generalization about women being terrible/crazy. Has terrible relationship with his family, no respect for his mother. Passive aggression when in public as a form of “punishment” for something he thought I did wrong.

Imo those traits don’t make a man high value, they may make them attractive to more people. High value speaks of their character, their moral standards and how well they treat other people and themselves.

This may be a little unpopular opinion and completely YMMV. I don’t like texting everyday with a guy I’m dating, doesn’t matter how many dates we’re in. And I certainly do not like to engage in a textversation with him either. I’d rather have these conversation in person. With that said, he texts me (with me occasionally initiate a text or two) every 2-3 days. But the caveat is, every time he texts me, there’s a purpose: to set up the next date, or to confirm the next date. We pepper in some fun…

There’s no friendship to him. He just wants to keep pushing your boundaries and hope you give up and eventually you two smash. That friendship you thought you two had had been gone a long time ago and you’re grasping at straws here to keep the illusion of it going. But good thing is you’re realizing he’s dirt. Just drop this “friend”. He is not bringing anything of value to your life a friend should. Do you really want to put yourself at further risk of being violated and maybe even worse?

This. FDS don’t support women lowering their standards to be someone’s side chick. Edit: also in support of what other commenters said. Don’t devalue yourself by throwing other women under the bus like this. I know this sounds harsh, but you need a dose of tough love here.

They are biased against women. 99% of Reddit is biased against women. They know these biases exist, they choose to ignore them because these mods are also men. Ergo, fck women, and fck our concerns. But thank you and applaud you for speaking up! Hopefully more women will speak up and things will start to change.

Yup! And they think we are making this up when we aren’t. This happens everyday to women who know their values and unwavering standards. Relationships built on a man chasing after a woman is more rewarding and fulfilling for both parties involved!

So so so true. A man who is interested will drive 2-3 hours to a date but will not put in the effort or complain to have to drive 20min to meet half way if he’s not that into you. Pickmeishas be deluded.

To me.... not necessarily better, it’s not worse. It’s just very different. It only feels better in the sense that wow, I was actually able to relax this much to finally achieve it because it’s difficult and doesn’t happen often at all, so somehow it feels more “special”.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/19 01:03 AM

It’s a real thing. But very very very few women could achieve it either because of bad sex, physiological differences, mental blocks, etc. or combination of those. I’ve achieved it once during sex and a couple of times with a vibrator. For it to work for me, I have to ... let myself, as in overcome that mental barrier.

I think FDS definitely should apply in committed relationship. Honestly to me, a committed relationship happens when the man puts a ring on it. But that’s just me. If not engaged, then I think during this time it’s still important to be somewhat emotionally unavailable, but show him love. Don’t give him validation all the time. Don’t love him more than he loves you. I’m not sure if we should put down our foot down and talk to them about our timelines (marriage, etc), so hopefully someone or you …

This almost feels like telling us to give the guys we aren’t attracted to a chance. I deem myself to have realistic standards, while higher than most women’s I know, but still within the ball park of compatibility. So no, if people are telling me that I need to lower my standards just so I can be in a relationship, then I will kindly tell them that’s not what I will do. I think at the end of the day, we all need to introspectively evaluate whether our standards are realistic or not. And I believ…

Not really, my dad has always been telling me what FDS been telling me, it’s just I never listened, because parents, amirite? Lol but now I’m older and wiser. I haven’t told my dad this because I don’t want him to say “I told you so” However, my perception of a close friend has changed. STEM nerds yes, but not all men who work in STEM. There are some rare ones in STEM who are not so weird. Maybe I’m biased because I’m in STEM and get along very well with most people who are in that field, can’t help it if I get turned on by their brains lol.

The moids got so mad in that thread probably because they feel inferior to the woman who has standards and won’t lower them for these men who aren’t measuring up. I’m a student right now but I will be making high 5 figures once I graduate (and easily >100k with more experience), so why should I date/marry someone who can’t even make that much? Men are notoriously famous for having fragile ego, especially when it comes to incomes. We women should not be there to manage their egos and their feelin…
