It's apparently 2 houses + a lot of acreage https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2050-Old-Hillsboro-Rd-Franklin-TN-37064/42632814_zpid/?

Improve yourself for your own sake Agreed. And it seems like she made the most improvement when he was out of her life. I see a common denominator.

Culinary arts might be a good option. Or you could go into childcare - some nannies make pretty good money, and it's more creative than most people think.

Looks great, but a little expensive. I think you could find a similar pattern and sew something for half the cost.

This is great advice! It can be stressful when you first combine finances. Especially if you're not the top earner, you can feel guilty.

Speaking of books, what about a monthly red pill women book club?

That's a lot of change to go through in 3 months and it takes some adjustment from both ends. From a financial point of view, I'd warn against buying a big house in SF and all the toys, etc. Consider long term investments if you haven't already. The other stuff - how much of it is in your head? I've been in a similar position where I was the sole provider. When that got flipped it was weird... it made me feel like I wasn't contributing enough to the relationship and that he didn't need me anymor…

What are some things people commonly overlook when cleaning?

Refuses to take the next step and says he has to do it on his own time. Maybe he will. I wouldn't throw out a 4-year relationship because he won't commit right the fuck now. Are you happy? Is he a good man? He's stuck somewhere. Figure out where he's stuck before you go forward. Maybe he doesn't want a wedding - offer to get married at a courthouse. Maybe he's afraid of divorce - offer to sign a prenup. Maybe he can't afford a ring - go without. Appeal to his sense of reason for getting married …

Also, I want to add - have fun! Remember if something goes wrong to laugh about it. You're here to support your SO. Guests won't remember the burnt dinner rolls - they'll remember how graceful you were under pressure.

Do you know if any of your guests have dietary restrictions? I don't eat meat - so I wouldn't be able to have brisket or soup or the sauce. Just throwing that out there, sorry :) I recommend having a salad available. Salads can mostly be made ahead of time (spring mix, onion, dried cranberries and walnut would compliment your dinner well). Any thoughts on getting a dessert from a local bakery? Expensive, but could be worth it. Otherwise, you can make a simple pie or cake. Cakes with buttercream …

This isn't your fault. Why won't he cook or feed himself? If his mom has been taking care of him, he may just not know how to cook. Show him, or take a cooking class together. I also recommend getting into meal prep. That way, you don't have to cook every night and there's a lot of food if he wants second servings.

Thinking of going to publix and just raking the spice shelf to make a collection. Aaah, no - you worry me. I have spices on my shelf that I've had for years because I bought them on a whim. Every time I move I'm like "Why do I have 3 things of cumin...?". I also have some spices like "Asian Lemon". Wtf does that even mean...?

Ooh, something I can help with! I meal prep usually twice a week so I don't have to cook so much or worry about lunches. One of my favorite things to make right now is soup/stew/chili because it's pretty easy and it actually gets better if it sits for a day. It's also just that time of year to make soup. I have a Word doc of all the meal prep things I've tried and liked - it's helpful when I'm not sure what to cook. You may also want to buy a cookbook and go through the recipes (I like Cookie & …

Tuesday: peach salad with farrow + almond, feta, lemon. Wednesday: Enchiladas! Corn tortillas, black & pinto beans, corn, roasted peppers + salsa & quesadilla cheese (these are amazing). Thursday: Chickpea Marsala with coconut rice. Friday: (lazy day) "fake" chicken sandwiches with roasted sweet potatoes.

Maybe I can help as a woman. First of all, good for you asking this question. I've been with my bf for 9 years. He may have the same bedroom issues as you - but sex is still really great. Foreplay is awesome. After-cuddling is divine. Find someone who wants to have sex because they like the couple-intimacy, not because they're looking for their own gratification.

I commend you on asking this question. Is your life boring, or are you boring? If you're boring, I have nothing for you. If your life is boring, but you're an otherwise engaging person, then don't worry about dating. If you're bored, then I recommend a hobby - something that helps with self-sufficiency such as auto repair, wood working, gardening, or electronic repair. Find something you have that's broken & fix it. Instead of taking your car for an oil change, do it yourself. Things like that.

Man up and tell him. Put yourself in his shoes. Empathy. Everyone here telling you to ignore it or act anonymously are speaking out of cowardice. He'll respect you for coming to him as a peer.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
