I am crazy. I cannot believe I allowed this loser to remain in my life for as long as I did. I cannot believe I shared so much, gave so much and cried so much — for someone who clearly never respected or valued me. That is the definition of crazy. Yesterday I told him to leave. And I meant it with every ounce in my body. No hesitation. No looking back. I just wish I had that clarity back in 2017. 😔

No one should marry this man. He has THREE girlfriends. They should get together and murder him. 🤣🤣🤣

I hate douchebags in pink flamingo shirts, who think their shit don’t stink.

They know what they do, but often are clueless. Lol.

I wish you strength, abundance and grace. It’s terrifying walking into the unknown but you will come out on the other side healthier and happier. 💕

Therapy. Start now if you can, and have access to benefits. You’re going to need the mental strength to endure their harassment, abusive communication and/or not cooperating through the process.

Back in college, as I was breaking up with someone, he said I had fat knees. It’s was pretty funny at the time tbh. There I was telling him to get a job and a life, and all he could do was tell me I had chunky knees.

I just want to share that I was approached by a male model online. Good god, what a creep. Tried to spark a normal convo that resulted in him sending unsolicited nudes. He may have been pretty, but I still blocked and deleted.

Yes, but has anyone actually experienced this? Because I’m not sure that man exists. Lol.

This is really insightful. Thank you. I’ve also heard, the right man won’t leave you confused. That’s something I’ve struggled with.

I have to believe people have the capacity to change. Sometimes losing themselves, to find themselves is what it takes. But more often than not, people don’t have the courage, conviction or strength to pull it off.

Saw this posted by another redditor: There is a scene in The Matrix where the protoganist is given choice to take a red pill that would allow them to wake up to the truth of the world around them, and a blue pill which would allow them to continue living in blissful ignorance. Elon Musk tweeted "take the red pill" presumably meaning wake up to the truth that the this pandemic is overblown and I should be allowed to reopen my factory. Ivanka tweeted "taken" presumably because she believes she is …

What the actual F? Wow. Most men who’ve been shady in my past just didn’t bother to ask or mention other women (aka cheating). But this guy had audacity to keep asking. And she hasn’t hit him upside the head once? She’s wayyyy calmer than I could ever be. 😂

I think I’d say something along the lines of ... well, I’d react this way (and severely kick him in the nuts). Then leave. Guy sounds like weirdo. Run.

The other day had a low effort ask if he should swing by at 11 pm. Keep in mind we’ve never met, there’s a pandemic, I’ve never implied sexual things and he asked if my kids were asleep (very gross). Anyway, I thought my response was perfect for such crazy, “negative ghost rider.” As in, the commander does not give you permission for fly by. Stand down low rank. I also blocked and deleted. FDS is the best.

I’ve inherited money. It’s not marital assets. Know your legal rights ladies. Was married at the time and it drove my husband mad. Lol. But you know what, he was terrible with money and I knew better than to give him access to it. Thank god I didn’t because I used it years later to file for divorce. Thank you mom. ❤️

Awww sis, don’t ever tell a BF these things. It’s like giving them a playbook on how to leverage your insecurities. Also, if he were the one, don’t you think he would have listened carefully and not made you feel anxious? Relationships run their course. Sounds like this one is slipping into the slow fade. Now, my advice if you want to take back some of your power and sanity... initiate it yourself. Don’t reply next time. Leave him on read. Change it up and sprinkle in a few low energy “yeah” “su…

Out... of the relationship. There, finished his sentence. What a clown. I wouldn’t even entertain a bottom feeder like this... in my house.

Lmao. So I’ve been saying this for some time and I’m in my 40s. Women keep up with themselves - hair, nails, apparel, not to mention pleasant personality. But what I see on the other side of OLD looks like the line up of Johns from a prostitution sting. Even the rare few attractive ones are unappealing with the... just looking for NSA, FWB, here for the night (aka looking for free hooker) 🤡🤪profiles. 🤮

He could be a narcissist, an avoidant or just an asshole. Doesn’t matter because he shouldn’t be your problem anymore. Never try to over analyze the mind of a monster. Just GTFO, take care of yourself and level up.

Hey sis, I know just how overwhelming and hard it can be. Not because you know he’s a shit LVM (that part is easy), but because you put in so much and got very little in return. People rarely change. Even good people who want to, but can’t seem to figure out how. So you’ve got to accept this BOY isn’t going to magically morph into a prince. He’s already shown you he’s a monster. You deserve better. At min the basics. No physical and emotional abuse. Call your mom, your best friend or anyone you …

This. Experienced the most painful relationship where I was left starving for connection and affection. I gave all my power away and allowed his rejection to measure my worth. Truth is I’m more than enough. I’m lovable. He just wasn’t capable. Hard lesson to learn, but it’s almost always (99.9%) a reflection of their low self image and insecurities.

Splitting aka object constancy is a dynamic of personality disorders. Not going to bother explaining it all here. Just GTFO.

It was very abusive. Never physically, but emotionally. The gaslighting and projecting was insane. I did convince him to seek therapy. But who knows what they talk about. I’m doubtful it’s about how much he’s hurt others, because he lacks empathy and is incapable of connection. Honestly though, I don’t care anymore. And that’s why I came here to respond to you. Please focus on loving yourself. Relationships will come and go. Even good ones with HVMs. But you will always remain in a relationship …

Specific question. I’m a widow. We were divorcing. It was tragic. All around awkward. I’ve struggled with how to very briefly explain this without my dates running or wanting to know more. I sorta feel like they imagine I keep a shrine or I’m damaged. But I simply need to convey I have no co parent, but I was married when I had my children.

May I also add, the love bombing. They mirror what you want, though you don’t realize it when it’s happening. No, your brain chemistry has you believing he’s amazing. So If you say you want a relationship that will evolve into cohabitation within a certain period; wow, so does he! Nope. Funny how after years of desperation they tell you with a straight face that you knew who they were and you’re trying to change them. Avoidants are pure evil. And btw, no woman (outside his mother) can take credi…

Dated very similar situation. He wasn’t cheated on (actually he was cheater). He was dismissive avoidant. Learn to identify this early and run!!!! I’ve learned so much from this unfortunate mistake. We women allow so many red flags (whereas men won’t tolerate much) thinking they’ll change or this behavior isn’t who they really are (but he’s a really nice guy 🙄) Trust me, this IS who they are and you are not going to change someone. Have standards. Communicate boundaries. Love yourself first.

I wish I could upload a photo of the turd I just flushed. Looks a hella lot like this illustration. So much, I had to do a double take. Also notorious for behaving exactly the same. Really must let me (and all the other harem members) know he’s a really nice guy. Jesus Christ. What the hell is wrong with these creatures? 45 years old and acting like that, still.
