This is absolutely true and the examples are spot on. Women often want total domestic control but then want to go 50/50 on the work required by their choices. And I'm not talking about unavoidable things like household chores. But anything outside of that (excessive cleanliness, elaborate events, busy or detailed schedules etc.) should be weighted 50/50 with what the husband wants. But it never works out like this, women guilt and coerce to get what they want and the men go along with it. And wh…

SMV probably a 9 or 10, might be too tall for some. RMV I'd say an 8 or a 9. I have a couple degrees, a good chunk of relationship experience, and great character. But I'm also a hair on the spectrum and q bit fucked up from my formative years. I don't have a family and I don't make a lot of money now, but I have a couple hundred thousand saved. Honestly in the 90s I think I would be a 10, but women these days are so superficial and focused on the wrong things and I'm not interested in selling m…

Lots of truth in here. Good, strong men are the backbone of society. But there's such a focus in the manosphere on the strength part without looking at character at all. These guys think being assertive and dominant is what makes you a man and thus they just become assertive shitty men instead of passive shitty men. They have embraced exactly half of what being a "high value" man is. But instead of blaming their non-existent character, people demonize their whole shtick, including the "strength"…

My views mainly inform my actions and boundaries with women This. I'm not walking around thinking about them or bursting to share them. They are just truths I've realized that inform my actions, and things run smoother as a result. It's crazy to me that it's basically a death sentence to think about women in any way other than how they want to be thought about, even if there's no actual problem with your actions. The entitlement to moral authority is wild. But given the reality, much better to b…

blind hope is the best way to live life! It is until it isn't. And if (when) the curtain falls, you will be completely unprepared for what's behind it. A great example is the "Healthy At Every Size" movement. I'm sure many obese people have tricked themselves into being happy, but eventually their health will catch up to them and they'll have wasted years blindly hoping instead of acknowledging reality and operating within its boundaries.

There is obviously objective truth lol what a silly thing to say. And once you see and understand truth (not just "something") there is no going back. Once you know the solar system isn't geocentric, you can't go back. Or any rational person can't. Such is the way with understanding women and the gender dynamic. The only thing that can change someone's mind who knows the truth is new truth, and there's absolutely none of that coming out of any "bluepill" or left-leaning spaces.

I don't consider myself RP but I have some very controversial views (truths) that I will probably never speak out loud. And the funny thing is I get along great with everyone, especially women. But if I were to open my mouth I'd be cancelled immediately. Apparently what you think is more important than what you do.

I love how her approach was "want to buy me something?" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 02:55 PM

Same here, I only see this sentiment on PPD. This implies that they are baby-trapping their spouse in a sense and that's the opposite of how I know most men to be lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:07 PM

Pleasing their wife? How many men have capitulated because of their baby-crazed spouse? I'd say far more than those that take on a lifelong responsibility for the sake of their "legacy".
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:05 PM

This is a misunderstanding, it's not about time spent with them, it's about the specific labour surrounding them. Nowhere is anyone advocating for an absent father.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:18 PM
1

We haven’t been in year zero for 10,000 years. What are you on about? Thanks to the labour of which gender? The dynamic worked for men for 10,000 years This implies that it didn't work for women. And so I'm asking you to tell me what a proper dynamic would be that would have worked for women in those years.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:15 PM

The year is 1680. You wake up every morning to swing a pickaxe all day while breathing in coal dust so that your family can eat. You are a deadbeat.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:57 PM

The dynamic worked for everybody. And like I said it was a necessary prerequisite for having any alternatives at all. You'd be the type to take an electric train and wonder why anyone would use a steam engine. Explain to me what a proper dynamic would have looked like in the year 0 please. You have nothing but sharp rocks and a loin cloth, tell me what 50/50 looks like then lol. What about the year 600? 1600? Those poor women trapped in their homes with kids while their husband got black lung sw…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:41 PM

I could just as easily say that diapers are done after 2 years while shoveling (and every other "man" thing) is for life. I wasn't even comparing them anyway, I was just saying that preferring something else doesn't mean the other thing is beneath you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:40 PM

Good take. This is why I find the idea of “artificial wombs replacing women” completely ridiculous Everytime someone seriously brings up artificial wombs I have to remind myself it's not satire lol. Even if human surrogacy was free, there's no way 95% of men would be able to raise a child from birth on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:21 PM

I've been told (by men) that it's usually something they go along with because their wife wants 'em and they want to make her happy. This does not surprise me at all. There are definitely those men that want to "leave a legacy" like people say here, but I'd wager those are a very small minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:05 PM

Not doing 50% of childcare does mean you are a deadbeat. TIL men have been deadbeats for thousands of years.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:53 PM

Where did you get that they were absent, let alone 70% of the time? They weren't absent, they were just not doing 70% of child-related labour. I don't think they were good fathers as a result of that, they were just good fathers and that happened to be true.

I didn't ask what you'd rather do, I said IF a woman would rather change a diaper than shovel snow, does that mean shoveling is beneath her? The obvious answer is no, she just doesn't want to do it. I could name a hundred things some women would rather change a diaper than do, are they just lording above everyone? Or do they have preferences just like men, and should find someone to match those preferences? How are we out here shaming men because some of them want the dynamic that worked for 10,…

Anyone can hold, rock, feed, and change, and play with a baby. That doesn't actually require a vagina. TIL nurturing your baby is grunt work lol. I'm imagining my aunt (SAHM, perhaps the most wonderful woman I can think of) saying this and it's cracking me up. It's crazy to me that somebody who says something like this is a hopeful mother, but to each their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:24 AM
2

See I'm totally with you other than calling someone who wants that selfish and half-in. Is it selfish and half-in for a mother to only want 20-30% of the financial burden? Personally I think not. Same with how you say "proper partner and father" as if your standard is the right one. Some of the best families I know had hard working dads doing less than 30% of the domestic work and childrearing. But good on you for knowing what you want and not ending up in a resentful relationship because you se…

I whole-heartedly agree with this. As a man, I am shocked at how little credit we get and how normalized it has become to disrespect and belittle men's experience, contributions, and preferences. When I talk about the domestic stuff, I mean for the more recent generations, say late millennials onwards. They don't really own homes and they mostly aren't working hands-on jobs, but they aren't developing any skills in place of these things. The type to work at a computer and then come home to their…

This is one of the things I was hypothesizing and it seems to be common. 50/50 doesn't mean her telling him to do half of whatever she wants done. Even just thinking back to how my mom wanted things, holy I would lose it if I had to meet that woman's standards. I already hated it enough as a kid, forget about the added stress of raising kids. Unsurprisingly she ended up divorcing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 01:04 AM
2

Yeah this seems like a very reasonable way to do things. Also agree with parents doing all the childcare. It's wild to me that parents drop their small children off with a stranger all day. Obviously not everyone has the choice but I'd rather live meagerly in a stable and intimate household than have any of the luxuries that come with a full second income.

Well you are certainly not messing around. Curious who determines if he's doing enough? I used to wonder how my mom could make a such destructive decision for our family of 5 based on her individual happiness/expectations, but you seem like you wouldn't think twice about it either lol.

I'm all for men challenging their roles, but that doesn't mean that all men have to or that the ones who don't are bad. I know great dads in both camps, but people are really starting to demonize any dad not doing 50% of childrearing. Or maybe I've just been on reddit too much and online too much in general lol. There's nothing wrong with having a preference for how you want to contribute to a family, so long as you are still giving it your all. Not every guy that wants to work more than change …

Yea, the whole men have a super lost cost of living and women just can't accept that. She doesn't subscribe to the "I might make a sandwich later knife". Or unused spaces are just going to get dusty, maybe don't walk over there and look at it. Totally. Again I'm pretty particular myself and maybe an outlier, but I feel bad for men who are simple and easy-going but get called a lazy deadbeat because they don't need everything to be as perfect as their (often neurotic) spouse.

I can say with confidence that I would not be down for all of the duties associated with childrearing. I would be fine to take on a portion for sure, but there is no way I could answer the call of 50/50. And that's okay, I'm just not going to have kids. Not quite at a vasectomy yet but I've thought about it. The point of this post was to see if women would be willing to accept more of this work if it was the only way they could have kids. Curious though, if a woman would rather change a diaper t…

See I'm not sure this reasoning is sound. This assumes that both parents are equally suited for the "real work" at every stage, but what if that's not the case. What if women are generally better at the younger stages and men are generally better at the older stages? I think there might actually be studies backing this up. In terms of bonding and development, I recall hearing/reading that the mother is more important for a certain time period, (maybe up to 5? Or 9?) and then it kind of switches.…

I would not be up for changing diapers frequently and wiping and bathing and all that, but it's not because it's beneath me. I just don't want to do it. I have a sensitive nose and am easily overstimulated. Same reason I like dogs but would never own one unless I had a partner that did most of the walking and poop picking. I would rather do hard labour for 30 min than spend 10 min cleaning and changing a baby. I think most men would too. Obviously it's a hypothetical tradeoff, but not wanting to…

That's true actually, we all just assume women are domestic but thinking about it actually, I don't really know many that are legitimately good at it. Like can whip up a good meal and legit know how to clean. Kind of gives me power as a man to be good at my thing and their thing, now there's nothing for me to need in them but their character lol.

The rub is, she is particular about the level of care, and wishes to provide more I've thought about this too. I think most women are naturally more particular about the standard of care, but I don't think 50/50 women adjust these expectations to factor in what men want now that they are doing half the work. A lot want final say over what the minimum is and then assign half that, which is a raw deal for the guy. Anyway, seems like you've struck a good balance and that's close to what I'd want if…

I agree, but I don't think it's entirely a matter of socialization. I think there's a nature aspect, but I also think socialization (nurture) is really just a feedback loop of nature programming us.

I honestly don't think most of these guys are bums. I think they get into it with a different idea and then find themselves in a nightmare. Women want kids more and the constant thinking and caring necessary for that is a more natural fit for the female disposition. But it's hard work and society has really made having a job a status/success thing. So women don't want to do it all (even if they are better at it AND have all the expectations for the right way to do it) and expect their modern man…

Good take. When I say men (and women like you said) should get this in order before they date, I meant mostly to land the best possible partner. Even if you're attractive, these skills will add to your attractiveness and increase the quality of your prospects. It's like hygiene in that sense, but more of a "life hygiene". You're totally right about the atomized families and the lack of generational homes/communities like the villages of yore. I wouldn't really be up for 50% parenting though no. …

It is amazing how wrong you are about how I think. It's also wild how much control you want over what I think. Telling me what I should and shouldn't think about women being promiscuous. Who are you? What do you know? I reported an anecdote of a girl who specifically voiced to me her own woes. I didn't treat her poorly, we had our transaction and went our separate ways. I'm replying on the off-chance that there's a learning opportunity here. Listen, I don't come on here to upset anyone or throw hands. I'm a good man. I'm respectful and kind to women and they like having me around. I get that you can't conceive of a strong man with views like mine that respects women, but you're wrong. You're projecting, and that is honestly not an attack. I'll say more. It's actually you who thinks a 31 year old woman is worth less. Your post history that I quoted proves this. …

I wasn't going to mock or ridicule and I don't have a double standard. I respect a lower number for both genders and think promiscuity is bad for both. But you're making claims about sex and women and I'm curious what kind of real experience is informing these claims? what does it indicate about a person? It indicates that they think sex is "just sex" and that's not a good fit for people who think sex is more than that (like me).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 09:53 AM
1

IMO your view that sleeping around has no effect and doesn't indicate anything about the person is naive. presumably they grew up, got married, started families "presumably" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there... Agree to disagree, I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I am genuinely curious though, how many partners have you had?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 09:29 AM
1

I'm not concluding anything, it was a guess based on the naivety of your view. Do you have experience? How many women have you slept with? Also I never said anything about a virgin trad wife. If a woman doesn't want a man who has slept with a thousand different women, does she have an immature attitude towards human sexuality?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 08:49 AM

You don't know a thing about me. The female version of me would have treated me with respect, you know, like I treated her. Would you believe I still insisted on driving her home? all you can say is “tee hee she is so damaged lol and she’s going to have a hard time having kids!!! Me and my brothers grew up with over 20 cousins from 3 aunts (+1 uncle), half of these were like siblings, half of which were girls, all of whom are now happily married with children. And I have 3 step-sisters, 2 of which are really little sisters 10 years younger than me. And that's just on my mom's side. Believe me, I've spent a lot of time around girls being daughters and women in basically every way possible. But aside from that, I hear what you're saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 03:08 AM

This is a very reasonable and informative take, thanks for sharing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 02:56 AM

Why does everyone keep taking vetting to mean choosing? The fathers I'm talking about didn't round up a bunch of options for their daughters lol, they just kept a close eye on the guys they were spending time with. And then if they passed the litmus test and stuck around, they'd sit them down and have a man-to-man talk about intentions and expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 02:43 AM

What about my post made it seem like I'm suggesting that fathers should pick partners for their daughters? Again, vetting is not picking. Vetting is making sure trash doesn't accidentally make it into the picks.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 02:29 AM

You're taking me pointing out she's 31 to mean that lol, those are your words not mine. 31 isn't old, but it is older. Especially for somebody who wants a husband and kids. Again, SHE is the one complaining about her situation, I did not bring any of this up lol. refuse to admit that men have different sexual desire styles than women When did I do this? You literally made this up. I know men and women have completely different desire styles. Are you going to lecture about responsive desire? how …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:32 AM

What's to take into account? If they settled, then they didn't vet properly. You don't settle for good things that you want. If they didn't want it then yes they shouldn't have gotten married. Where in this post am I calling for women to be pressured into doing things they don't want to do? This is about vetting. It's about the women who DO know what they want not picking the right guys to get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:25 AM
2

I just mean that not being picky isn't as virtuous if you don't have options. it wouldn’t matter if she’d slept with ten, a hundred or a thousand men before me - the past is the past Honestly not trying to be hurtful, but this tells me you probably don't have very much experience with women.

Yes obviously there are psychopaths out there who can trick anybody, but that doesn't negate the fact that men can pick up on certain things that women seem to miss or ignore. Like another comment said, the same goes for men. Women can pick up on things about other women that men are "blind" to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 10:50 PM

Well, ultimately women obviously decide. Vetting isn't choosing, it's just making sure that there's no garbage hiding among the choices. Good men are good judges of other men's character

The top 30% of men is usually referring to their attractiveness or success in the dating scene i.e. the 30% that women are choosing, not the top 30% of men in terms of character and suitability as a good partner. But it's hard to know what their actual view of women is in their head when they aren't defending themselves from strangers on the internet. I'm not really "pilled" at all, but I have a pretty traditional view of men and women. I love women, I just don't pretend that their shit doesn't stink. I love…

The reason I asked about looks. Is because women can look more feminine. And women do not start out looking feminine at birth. So essentially I wanted you to explain your position with the knoweledge that a woman’s looks don’t start at max femininity It's not that they start with max femininity, obviously a newborn baby isn't "feminine". It's that the potential is already in them and it will shine through as time passes and they grow into it. So long as they take care of themselves and are prote…

women absolutely know who they’re dating. Women who say “he changed” or “he was pretending to be nice” are ignoring that they absolutely knew that at the time and actively chose him because of those traits. Those “bad” traits are sexy and exciting men cannot choose for women as they will always choose a sexless femme boy because of bias and pedestal placing of the woman, so will make sure he’s a boring dweeb accountant losing his hair so he’s “safe”. women prefer someone they find attractive and…

Women do need to learn to vet better which means thinking with their mind not the heart. Emotions cloud judgement and are an impediment to logical decision making. When they learn to do that, they vet better. Plus I have my own tests which I would recommend like travelling with the person, how they act towards people lower than them, behaviour towards animals and kids, environment around them, company they keep and the best one is how they act in anger and while drunk. I agree with this complete…

I never said it was inferior or that we shouldn't do it. I also didn't suggest rolling things back for women lol, you're so sneaky with how you misrepresent my words. I was referring to rolling things back socially in general. And really I don't mean literally rolling back, moreso just taking the good parts of a dynamic that worked better than what we have now. When men don't lead by example, we get women choosing poorly. This is exactly my point though. And those are supposed to be the men who …

The women I'm talking about legitimately could not spot them. One showed me her matches/convos on the apps and exclaimed that it's just impossible to tell. I scrolled through a bit and called out exactly who each guy turned out to be and she confirmed I was right. I know that what you're saying happens too, but I don't think it's as simple as women clearly identifying red flags and letting them slide because the guy is just so hot. I think it's more that their "flag mechanism" is how the guy mak…

It would be kind of a turn off but yeah I'd probably be more accepting of it. I think it makes a huge difference for the longevity of the relationship and bonding if you are the most attractive person they've been with. I've overheard women talking about this sometimes and they definitely don't just forget about the hot guys who fuck them senseless lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 06:43 PM

Would you consider looks/visual appearance to factor in femininity Definitely. What would you consider femininity to be in your own definition Femininity is the outward expression of a woman's internal alignment with her female nature. This expression can be physical, mental, and/or emotional. A really feminine woman is in touch with her sexuality and beauty (physical) and knows how to wield her soft and nurturing disposition (mental and emotional).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 06:35 PM

So are you saying femininity has a max that constantly decreases and has to be preserved Generally, yes. Although I do think it's possible to undo certain damage and become more feminine again. But I believe women start with 100%. Men are the opposite and start at zero, but they also get the opportunity to build themselves as high as they are capable. It's an interesting dynamic for sure.

The most feminine women are the ones with the least "damage", the ones who have been taken care of and protected from the world i.e. preserved. The most masculine men are the ones who have endured and overcome the most hardship, the ones with the most experience. Masculinity is turning damage into strength and wisdom.

Beautiful things do not beg to be seen.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 06:59 AM

I'll give an answer that I haven't seen yet. Women do all sorts of things that weaken the relationship but they don't take accountability or apologize. Men get used to swallowing their discontentment because they know it's just going to blow up in their face if they bring it up. This slowly kills their attraction, intimacy, and motivation to put effort into the relationship. But again, they don't mention any of this because women cannot handle negative feedback. So from the woman's perspective, …

I think the general sentiment is that women are okay being single when they are youngish and getting attention, but they'll regret it later on when they are "old" and the attention and beauty has faded.

Gotcha. I didn't mean that it "just happens" for women or that it doesn't require effort or intention, I know it requires a lot of both. What I meant is that when women put in effort and intention, they naturally do it in this way. Women aren't constantly guiding themselves internally to show love in this particular form, it's just how they are. Bonding through emotional intimacy, care, and consideration comes naturally to them because it's a product of their natural disposition. And when it's w…

I think the thing about the “male loneliness crisis” that genuinely confuses women is this: why can’t men be caring friends to each other? They obviously can, but it's different. It's not the kind of caring that softens you or warms you up. It's a masculine caring vs. a feminine caring. Your friends are probably mostly women, which is why you get this from them. You said women notice this with every male in their life, and presumably you aren't getting this level of caring from your male friends…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:40 AM

It's funny how this turned into enough of a meme that the legit connection between chemicals and frog sexuality is ignored lol. Plastics, fertilizers, and other endocrine disruptors are absolutely lowering testosterone levels in males across the board, joking about it doesn't make it any less true.

I agree with what you've said. I think neuroticism + empathy explains why mothers/women are so caring (and sometimes overbearing). They think about other people and they think semi anxiously/obsessively. I think the empathy "gap" is a biological difference though, men just aren't disposed to thinking/acting like women and efforts to make them that way are proving to be futile. General empathy would be a big disadvantage for men back in the day when they were literally protectors and providers. B…

Women do a lot of this "considering" because they are just more neurotic. Like many comments have said, some of this is stuff men just don't care about and wouldn't care if it was missing. No water bottle? Guess I'll be thirsty for a bit. No bandaids? We'll make do. Some of this is universally necessary and the load should be shared by both partners, but there's a common misconception that men are expecting women to do all this labour. When in reality it's women that want the outcome and take on…

I don't think it's the same treatment, but it's a similarly privileged treatment for sure. I'm very tall and fairly handsome and get quite a bit of attention. This is such a wild take to me. Without women, there'd be nothing to pay for? Like it's women's participation that brings the actual thing into existence. Obviously the participation is under questionable conditions and the exploitive producers (men) get a good chunk of blame, but porn stars/OF girls are way closer to the root of the problem than the consumers.

I've had some sex that will probably go down as the "best" sex I'll ever have but I would never in a million years let this get back to my partner. Here's the way I look at it sometimes: What is the most extreme indication that someone has gone through too much or carried too much weight? Like what's the most severe reaction you can have to struggles of life? I think most people would agree that it's suicide. It's the choice of people who have run out of road. Their experience has been too much, they have too little hope, and they just can't do it anymore. Men kill themselves 3x more than women. The people for whom life became too much are …

You can often tell. Sounds like she's an exception with a rare condition that makes her gain weight. In a room with 100 random women that look like her, she'd almost certainly be the only one with a healthy lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 12:40 AM

I agree with this and it's a big reason why I'm more interested in younger women. I'm 31, very healthy/fit, and aging well. Women my age don't really seem to be taking care of themselves. I'd wager that 75% of the profiles I see are at least overweight. Even aside from weight, a lot just look older than I'd expect. I'm not looking for models or anything, but you can tell when someone has healthy habits (diet, exercise, sleep etc.) vs. not. Attraction is quite important to me, but it also just me…

I think men also like making their woman happy and "giving her kids" is one way to do that. I find it really hard to believe but it totally depends on the methodology used to quantify things. If it's largely self-reported, I can't imagine that miserable older women are just going to admit that they're miserable. If a woman is older and single, she has likely had multiple opportunities to partner up. I'm not saying they were amazing opportunities, but they were almost certainly there. If a man is in the same situation, it's possible (maybe even probable) that he just never got the oppor…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/24 09:59 PM

If you read my other comments you'll see that I have spent years reflecting. It's actually one of the reasons I have such good character now, is because I listened to every single person that criticized me and told me I'm the problem. Of course I've considered if I'm in the wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:21 PM

All of the latter ways, and very similar to how you've phrased them. I loved these girls, and was always very careful with how I brought up these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:07 PM

Totally, I would never end up in a similar dynamic now and it was definitely not coming from a healthy place.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:06 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:05 PM

This is honestly exactly what I was getting at. Obviously this doesn't apply to every single person, but it's not hard to imagine a general dynamic like this arising given the gender differences you mentioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 11:18 AM

Please tell me when I said something about every woman to have ever existed? Or where I said "crazy"? I'm talking about toxic behaviour I've witnessed. And 170 billion? Might want to google that lol.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 11:00 AM

I am definitely going to be very picky with the next woman I date.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:59 AM

By do a thing do you mean date a woman? If so yes, I do intend on having a wife lol. But if you are referring to dating women with issues, I'd remind you that you only find these things out after spending a lot of time with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:59 AM

You are 100% right about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:54 AM

If you had a large random sample of men and they were all or mostly rapists, then I'd be okay with you concluding that all/most men are rapists. Not going to address this point any further because we both know it's nonsensical and intellectually dishonest. And regarding being American, you said 170 million women which I'm assuming refers to half the US population.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:33 AM

I don't like to say this explicitly because it gets immediately branded as misogyny, but I know exactly what you're talking about. It sounds crazy, but it really dawned on me once I flipped back through my entire life interacting with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:23 AM

Hundreds of women is larger than the sample size 99% of people will ever have. Sample size isn't important as long as it's representative, that's the whole point of taking a sample and not the entire population. While my sample isn't totally random, I know all kinds of women from all different walks of life. Also I'm not American so.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:21 AM

I'm defensive because it's not true lol. Of course I know there are nuances and complexities and it's silly to paint half the world with the same brush. But also, not everything is complex and nuanced and sometimes the explanation is simple and straight forward. I'm not writing legislation here, just discussing what could be a broader gender issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:19 AM

I don't mean solidarity in being toxic, I mean more that society doesn't have your back in the same way. You aren't going to get any positive reinforcement as a men unless you go out and earn it. The same is not true for women, whether that attention comes from men or other women. My post isn't talking about blatantly toxic women like what you've described. It's low-key damaged women that never have to look at their damage and instead can easily seek positive reinforcement from the people around…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 10:07 AM

I don't know what to say other than I could not relate less to the person you are describing. No point in addressing your points any further because they are simply not grounded in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:57 AM

I hear what you're saying, thanks for writing this. This was a rant and there's a reason I posted it here. I know this is not how you influence society or change people's minds. I mostly wanted to see the reaction I'd get for suggesting that there might be a wider issue among women because of the societal dynamic we've collectively created.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:49 AM

My experience isn't limited, I know literally hundreds of women. Are you saying that it's not possible for there to be a widespread gender issue period? Who has enough experience and is allowed to discuss these issues? And I never said anything about their capacity, everyone has the capacity to self reflect. What I was discussing here is that it doesn't seem to happen and gave some reasons for why that might be.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:45 AM

Maybe if they did it maliciously they'd be shitty, but I just think they are damaged. I'm not stating it as fact that it's gendered, just my hypothesis. And I'm not surprised to hear that there are lots of men like this too. What I'm getting at in the post is that women can get away with this kind of behaviour because they are the ones being pursued in the dating dynamic. They can just sit back and look to the next suitor who is keen to try and land them. You're much less likely to consider that…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:36 AM

I'm not doing whatever you are referring to here. I described my experience and gave a few reasons for why I think this could be a larger scale issue being perpetuated by modern dynamic between men and women. And then I asked for other people to share their thoughts.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:25 AM

You hit the nail on the head with those first few paragraphs, that's exactly what happens and what I've hypothesized. One of the girls I dated was a bit more masculine in her disposition but was actually the worst one for taking criticism, but she also had the most trauma so who knows.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:14 AM

They aren't the same people at all and I said that. Different women with different dispositions and issues from different walks of life. What they have in common is that they weren't able or willing to acknowledge these issues. That hardly makes them the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:10 AM

You've missed so much in my post and other comments. I literally said maybe it's just a human thing but I'm only interested in marrying a woman so that's why I pay closer attention to their character. You calling this internal misogyny is exactly the problem I'm talking about lol. I have spent years reflecting and working on my issues. Some unprompted, some voiced by previous partners. I have even met up with them and acknowledged that they were right about x and y. I have no indications (and ac…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:07 AM

I'm talking about behaviour (a general disrespect of men) invisibly stemming from old trauma like father issues and shitty high school boyfriends. Stuff that's at least a decade old and where there's been plenty of time and space to heal if the issue was recognized. It's not like they are agreeing it's a problem and just need time to work through it. They aren't recognizing that there is any problem at all. It's extra frustrating when they have no problem calling me broken and damaged for things…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 09:03 AM

You know what I'm getting at, God forbid I picked the wrong flair. I labeled it discussion because I want to hear what other people think about my thoughts, not because I want to get into an argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:41 AM

This is one of many trends I've noticed. I don't know if I'd say crickets, but there is certainly a big disparity.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:36 AM

You're right, I think women are so bad that the number one goal I have in life is to create a wonderful relationship with one...give your head a shake. Read literally the first sentence where I describe the girls I've dated as "great". This is exactly the issue I'm describing. I can't voice any concerns or criticisms without it being classified as women bashing. If that's what you think this post is then I can't help you. Do you know what subreddit you're in? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:31 AM

It really isn't though. These women weren't shitty, they were good women who are unable to see the few (but serious) issues that they had. I feel like this kind of thinking is exactly the problem. If I call out their bad behaviour it's viewed the same as saying that they are shitty. I'm only calling out the behaviour because I know it's something they can and should fix. If I thought they were shitty I wouldn't date them in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:28 AM

Yes but I've fixed my issues because I've listened to my partners and been willing to accept that I have work to do. My point here is that the women I've dated aren't doing the same thing and thus not growing from their experiences. I tried again with one of them and she still had not worked on any of her issues that were there 4 years ago at the very start.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:24 AM

Fair enough, I'm thinking of issues like: excessive and accusatory jealousy, selfishness, gaslighting, emotional recklessness and abuse, lack of trust, lack of respect, using my vulnerability against me etc. Just toxic behaviour that comes out of the woodwork in certain scenarios.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:21 AM

I've spent literally years introspecting and fixing my own issues lol, that's my point. I always spend so much time doing this after my relationships but realized it's not happening on the other end. These are all women that would have been happy to keep dating me had I not ended things. I see what you're getting at, but you're wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:11 AM

I definitely think control is part of it, and I'd agree that women really struggle here. Hence the post, it's frustrating to see women parade their emotional intelligence when they are usually pretty bad at regulation, at least in my experience.
