Well put. This is how I feel. If I’m interested, I should show you I’m interested. Like OP, though, I worry that’s going to come off clingy. I’m in a situation now where the girl I’m talking to responds when I text and we usually have a good convo, but she rarely texts me first. People have told me to back off and let her come to me, but then I feel like I’m letting go of the steering wheel.

A+, best advice here.

Hey man, I'm about your age and in a similar situation, so I wouldn't typically feel qualified to give advice but I saw something glaring that I had to point out. she really tried to make an effort to talk to me through text every other day. There was a lot of flirting and somewhat on my end I felt it was going very well, but eventually it seems that this faded out too. Did you ask her out? If you were flirting and she was making an effort to text you regularly, ask her out! Plan a date! The soo…

Make sure to sit next to her. Avoid sitting opposite, it's not an interview. Man, how I wish someone had told me this before I started dating. Had to learn the hard way. Great advice all around!

But all the same, happy to see you took a chance. Thanks. Generally speaking, women don't like being approached at work. It makes them uncomfortable. I think the key word you used here is "uncomfortable". I did as much as I could to be subtle and not cross that line. I could have drawn it out by asking for her number, making her either have to take time to give it to me or explain that she didn't want to. Instead, I already had my number written down and gave it to her, and the whole interaction…

What changes did you make/what did you learn from 21-23?

Dude, don’t let anyone rule you out before you even try. Shoot your shot. Either she likes you or she doesn’t. If you’re already friends, you’ve proven you’re not a creep or weirdo. Find something you can do together and invite her. If she turns you down, you have your answer. If she accepts, then make your intentions known on the date. When you meet up, tell her she looks great. Stay close to her (think going somewhere loud where you have to lean in so she can hear you), build up physical conta…

Nice work, man. I haven’t built up the guts to do this myself (I’ve never done night game, much less day game), but this is encouraging. Not only did you survive, you got a number. ME: Hey can you help me with something please? FRIEND: With what? ME: Basically I think your friend is absolutely gorgeous but I don’t know what to say to her. Can you give me some tips? [BOTH GIRLS LAUGH] FRIEND: I don’t know, just talk to her and see what happens! [I TURN TO FACE THE ONE I AM INTERESTED IN] ME: Hey …

Dude, I’m no expert at this, but I have learned a few things. This wasn’t a rejection. You didn’t ask if she’d like to go out. You asked if she was doing anything this weekend, and she mentioned that she might be free during the week. That’s an opening for her to ask you out. Your next message should have been “Oh, that sounds fun! Would you like to get drinks Tuesday night?”. You should always ask to go out on a specific day. If she’s interested, she’ll say yes or suggest a different day. If sh…

I get what you’re saying, but to use the same analogy, it’s more like you see a ripped guy at the gym and ask him “Hey man, what routine do you do? Cool, I’ll try that.” Sure, I’ll keep trying and talking to women, cause sitting at home sure as hell won’t work, but some pointers every now and then are handy.

You probably wont even read this, but will share anyway. Trust me, man, I read it. Like I said, I’ve never been good at this before, but at some point in life you realize that’s what you want, so I’m determined to improve myself and figure it out. And if someone has valuable advice, I’m going to listen. I’ve learned a little about pick-up/seduction so far, and I agree, confidence is key. It’s not easy to fake, but it’s the most important thing. I also agree with about men thinking logically and …
