I will speak from my experience on what works. Might not be your thing, might work for you, might not. You probably wont even read this, but will share anyway.

I had no idea how to flirt with women when I was 17. I rdecided to run my own little research project on 2 females where I worked to put all this online seduction theory to the test. Obviously, these girls didnt work at the same place. I had 2 part time jobs. So, believe it or not these were my earliest flirting experiences. Now, Im not assuming you know nothing about seduction, but anyway...

1). Remember confidence is KEY. Fake confidence if you dont have it. It will evolve into real confidence once you realize how well Females respond to it. Confidence = Good leader= Alpha. It all goes back to caveman times. 2). Most girls are emotionally wired, not logically wired like men. So how do you infiltrate a females wiring to think of you? By overloading her emotions. 3). Most Girls unconsciously want to feel submissive

I was floor security guard in a bank and also a large fruit store. When the store wasnt busy I went up to Amy. I noticed she walked very fast. I approached her with my back straight, looking directly in her eyes, with a cheeky smirk. I said 'man, you're always in a rush. Im going to call you Usain Bolt.' Then it started. She would say something cheeky in return and it just kept going. Dont try to come up with a conversation script; just make fun of her without putting much thought into it. Try not to cross the line otherwise she'll genuinely not want to have sex with you... but if that happens, who f**ken cares? Be the cheeky bad boy. It dosent matter what females think. You might of screwed up with her but at least you are gaining experience and are better equipped for the next girl.

Now we're on to complimenting girls ... like you said "(You) think its so sexy how (shes) dedicated to (her) career". This is neither right or wrong; there are 7 billion people in the world, so when it comes to seduction, there is no black and white. However based on my experiences and observations of others, I would not say that sentence in those EXACT words or tone until you've been flirting successfully for a while. If you were to use this in the early stages of flirting, I would re-phrase that as something less strong, such as: "I think its cool how you're dedicated to your career..." . Get it? Good. Now lets talk about frequency. From experience, showering girls with compliments never got me far (in general). If you met a shy and insecure girl she would be more open to it; however most girls I encounter come across as typical bubbly feminine over emotional annoying bitches. Complimenting girls all the time will place a Girl higher than you on a subconscious level. In her mind, you are TRYING to IMPRESS her. You are persuading her to like you because you are making her feel good, so she must like this right? Well as much as this appeals to your logical reasoning it might not do the same for a females emotional thinking. She is above you as you are TRYING to convince her to fuck you. Nobody can convince a female to fuck you but herself. You, as a male, should be in control of the situation from an emotional standpoint- NOT THE FEMALE. Girls are supposed to be lost in their emotions, men should be firm and in control. Kissing her ass just shows that you are not controlling the situation and you are leaving the decision uo to her. By all means, compliment girls, but do it now and then. It will come out as being more authentic if you are teasing her all the time. It will also cause a shift in her EMOTIONS. In her mind shes thinking "this guy is always teasing me so he must not like me but he's always smiling at me so he must like me plus he complimented my new hairstyle today but yesterday he was making fun of my hair so Im not sure if he likes me".... can you see the picture im trying to create? When you constantly change the direction on an emotional rollercoaster, a female is going to be overwhelmed with all these thoughts as she tries to pin down the mixed signals you give her. When you compliment her all the time, the emotional thrill stays constant and never changes. If you were on a roller coaster that only went straight, I'm pretty sure you would want to jump off because you FEEL BORED. Its mere push/pull. I could go on and about this forever but you get the main idea right? By all means, be a CHEEKY, PLAYFUL ASSHOLE. If girls hate you for it, who cares, logically you had nothing to lose in the first place because you were never a nice guy so logically girls shouldn't like you. If you were being nice and kissing a girls ass only to have her reject you, thats much more embarrassing. Logically, girls should like you but they dont and that just embarrasses you.

You're probably getting caught up in what to say next syndrome. Need to walk towards your goal while never caring if you reach it.

Put in the repetitions and let the cards fall where they may. The trick is, just like lifting weights and building a perfect body you lift the psychological weights and talk to as many girls and put it in the repetitions and eventually your verbal blockage is washed away.
