If your ex isn’t trying to reconcile then he probably wants attention. Or he’s bored. If you were actually annoyed by this behavior you would have put a stop to it long ago with something like “hey we’ve had this conversation before and I don’t want to keep in contact. I’d appreciate it if you respect my wishes.” And then block him. You don’t have to armchair analyze it. It’s not that deep. A lot of men will want to keep in contact just because they can. Part of you might be flattered that you’r…

You’re either a very naive young woman who is brainwashed by what you see on social media or a borderline incel who spends too much time thinking of fantasy scenarios and doesn’t actually date or approach women in real life.

Unlikely scenario for most women.
/r/RedPillWomen04/03/25 03:21 AM

I have dealt with the same exact thing. I have a close friend who kept letting herself fall into bad patterns with a few men. It was bad. She wasn’t even technically dating these men which makes it worse. They DOG WALKED her. And she would often vent to me and other close friends. We gave her all of the advice we could. She kept going back and repeating her patterns. It came to a point where all of us were sitting there in silence after she was venting because we literally didn’t have anything e…

No facial piercings, keep ear jewelry 2 holes max on each side. No un-natural hair color, that’s a big giveaway. No glasses in super oversized shapes or colors. Keep them square and simple. Keep hygiene up. Whiten teeth. Some conservative styles tend to come across more “boring” (I don’t think it’s boring but I think other people would describe it that way) No ripped clothing or clothing in super loud colors. If you can afford it, jewelry in real gold or silver but there’s plenty of costume jewe…

This is interesting. I’m curious to see if there would be any updated studies

Sir this is a Wendy’s. But in all seriousness this sounds like something he made up as an excuse to finish inside you. There’s no studies backing this up as far as I know. If this were true we wouldn’t have a lot of unhappy women walking around. Because many of their partners finish inside them without returning the favor and making the woman orgasm.

Hmm not sure that’s it… he provides a lot financially and never asks much from me. I don’t think he’s that sinister because I can sniff that out

Definitely sounds like you outgrew the friendship a long time ago. I think you may just have to slowly phase her out if she’s a bit crazy. Maybe you can mute her on social media so you never see her posts? And then just block her actual number. I had a “friend” who would make all these plans when we were in college and I was never interested. If I didn’t want to party with her or spend money that I didnt have on traveling, she got pissed. She was really jealous of me and ended up saying fuckrd u…

I told him 2 years was my max wait time. 2 1/2 would be pushing it. And he replies “do you really think I would keep you waiting longer than that 🥹?” And I’m sitting here now thinking, um, yeah, i think you probably would. And I know the age difference can be off putting to most LOL we just get along really well. I didn’t intend to go after someone that much older than me. I def understand what you mean

Yeah. The past few years I decided I wanted marriage. Sometimes I think I’ve been conditioned into wanting it. But maybe I’ve just been dealing with frogs. I vetted him hard in the beginning and even cancelled our first date. Within the first 3 months he kept assuring me that he was looking for a relationship. I do feel worried because subconsciously I feel like I’m planning my future without him now. I’ve told him before that if he cannot promise anything that doesn’t make me feel secure.

The thing is, I’ve told him multiple times. I’ve literally said “I’m not happy.” … and he told me he doesn’t like hearing that. This has been going on for a few months now. He tells me to give ‘us’ time, and that we are growing and will continue to grow. But I haven’t really seen any huge changes on his end. He has been going through some tough things, family and health wise, the past year. So I’m really trying to be there for him and be patient with him, and be someone he can lean on. I keep as…

I’ve actually been thinking about that the past few days. How I’m not that interested in marriage anymore… You’re correct, he’s never been married and has only a few relationships to my knowledge (+ which I absolutely know nothing about..) I also considered this a red flag in the beginning but he assured me it’s because he never really felt a deep connection with anyone, and his parents sort of instilled an ‘emotional block’ inside him. I get it because my parents throughly fucked me up mentally…

Taking a peek into your post history - was this relationship long distance? From context clues it looks as if it was. If a 'driven man' with a 'great job' was telling you the truth, why would he be asking for money at all? (especially within the first year of a courtship/relationship) In my opinion, that would be the first sign to dip out. Many women who hand over money to a man have low self esteem or think it will make the man care about them more. Well it doesn't. He just knows he can take ad…

First, I’m sorry you lost your job. It’s a shitty feeling whether you know it’s coming or whether they catch you with your pants down. Lol. Just trying to lighten the mood. Second, do you have an idea of what you want to go to school for? Continuing education is really important because like you said, your education will never leave you. It sounds to me like you may have had a run of the mill insurance job. (Just speculating) If you can swing another desk job while going to school part time, I w…

I can see how the promotion of sex, sex work, “independent women”, money, multiple partners, cheating, etc can deter a (black) person from pursuing marriage and children. As social media and technology become more sophisticated it seems like they are pushing the message harder. I notice that the general population is very easily influenced now more than ever. I think the dating coaches (red pill type communities for men, Shera “sprinkle sprinkle” for women) - are also playing a huge role. Men ar…

Lying about simple things like his name and age = huge red flag. Children too? Red flag. He’s staying at his brother’s place now and doesn’t let you come over? Big red flag, come on now. Something is fishy with his living situation or he’s still involved with his ex and the children. They might be staying over his place now. (Is what I’m speculating) Or he’s bringing other women over to his place and doesn’t want to get caught. He keeps confessing things every time you see him? Seems to me he’s …
/r/RedPillWomen21/02/24 12:08 AM

He said he isn’t, but anyone can lie. You’re not there with him building an in-person relationship, so you don’t know forsure that he isn’t talking to other young women. It’s easy to text multiple people, all day everyday. I’m sorry, I’m not trying to rain on your parade or hurt your feelings, but you’re stating his actions which obviously translates to that he doesn’t care. There are plenty of other men in the world that you can meet in person.
/r/RedPillWomen03/02/24 08:29 PM

Forsure wasting your time. If he won’t spend time virtually, he won’t be bothered to do anything else. He’s probably talking to you and a bunch of other young women. He likes the attention and low effort texting offers

Why do you feel the need to talk to guys you used to date, if you are dating him? Sounds reasonable that he would want you to stop talking with them. It seems like you may need to work on yourself before getting into another relationship, or perhaps you’re not ready for one yet.

It sounds like you’re still caught in the post-fantasy-cloud of the encounter. Maybe step away from the apps for awhile and really think about what you want + future goals.
/r/RedPillWomen30/01/24 02:23 AM

He doesn’t make much money, work ethic sucks, didn’t listen to you, went 50/50 on bills, etc .. why are you missing him again? Maybe it’s a combination of your pride is a little hurt because you feel like you are high value enough for him to want to change, but he didn’t. He ended it instead because he knew he wasn’t the one for you. Imo you can’t push a guy to want to “build an empire.” He’s either motivated or he’s not. Unless he meets someone so amazing that it lights a fire under his ass.

If he couldn’t be bothered to leave the jewelry at the hotel front desk I’m not sure he’s going to take the initiative to mail it back to you, that’s way more effort than simply leaving it at the front desk. You could message him once more and let him know it’s a special piece to you and offer to pay for expedited shipping, but I don’t think this guy cares. I could be totally wrong, but, I hope you get it back either way.

I love this. ♥️ I agree, I don’t think every couple has to celebrate and I don’t judge whoever doesn’t. But it’s nice to see when some just go all out anyway. I don’t think it’s totally outdated, just fun for the most part.

When he said he is getting to know you through your actions, it makes me go ???? I understand you should show a level of interest that reciprocates his, but it makes me think he wants you to do more of the chasing. I’d fall back and see if he asks you on another date.

I would have to agree with NoHat754, being, people with that specific type of trauma can pick up on those things and behaviors. I’ve been through a myriad of bad situations like that with men in the past and I can sniff it out very well myself. If I start to sense those things with my partner I would start asking questions and feel insecure about the relationship. If you feel like you’re wanting attention or itching to go on “chat sites” - that does seem like an orange flag.. if not a red flag. …

I’m sorry to hear you are going through a tough time right now. Based on your post history, it looks like you’ve come into some money from an accident you were in. If you can financially, my suggestion would be to find a therapist who specializes in trauma. Even if you try 3-4 different therapists and none of them stick or you don’t find that you’re meshing well through the initial rapport sessions, sometimes venting out loud to them really helps you pin point the specifics of what you’re strugg…

Respectfully, if he was not interested the first time when your friends offered to set you up, and he ignored your LinkedIn message, why would you want to chase him? How do you know he has a good character, ambitious, etc? If you’ve only been ‘hearing’ about him from distant friends, and don’t actually know him? How do you know his mom has been talking about you recently? It seems odd that an older women would go through the trouble of making a fake account to look at a girl her son doesn’t seem…

Please watch and look into Doctor Ramani on YouTube. She’s exploded in popularity with her videos. She provides guidance about healing from narcissistic relationships. She’s very down to earth and informative. I learned so much from her after escaping from my ex years ago.

My boyfriend and I have an 18 year age gap, him being older. I know this isn’t the same exact situation as yours but I’ve experienced unwanted opinions and side eyes. If someone is truly wonderful and high value you will learn to ignore what society thinks. It’s your life to live, not anyone else’s.

I get that. I definitely wasn’t trying to imply that you don’t contribute, was mostly curious. Not receiving anything for Mother’s Day, especially your first one was probably really disheartening. Perhaps he is stressed/preoccupied with working a lot, so him putting more thought into your gifts gradually subsided? It doesn’t sound like it was intentional. Is he normally attentive to you?
/r/RedPillWomen30/11/23 03:43 AM

As a gift, it wouldn’t be at the top of my list, because my taste in lingerie might be a little different than what my man would pick out. Although, If we picked it out together as my gift I would think that’s kind of sexy… You mentioned he is the provider, are you a stay at home mom/house wife? You don’t contribute financially? If I didn’t contribute financially at all, I would feel bad and distasteful to not appreciate the gift. I do understand being disappointed when you didn’t receive anythi…

I really do understand. That’s something I’ve also struggled with. I try to lean into being feminine as much as possible. It’s hard when we are conditioned to be “independent women” in todays society

If you take care of yourself you won’t have much trouble. A lot of men set their age ranges on apps from 18-50. From what I’ve seen and experienced.

Telling a man that you have more life experience than him and that you are more ambitious is not going to end well. (Speaking from experience - I’ve done this) If he already knows you make more money, adding those other things may hurt his confidence/feel emasculating. Idunno, I agree with the first comment from Jenneapolis, damage may have been done already. Perhaps reading up on Laura Doyle may help.
