Op, I think ur focusing your energy on finding the answers to wrong questions, ask the right ones first, then you will know what to do. From what you said, you seem to know how the world works but are having difficulties accepting it. You should first seek to accept the world as it is. No one said that love is impossible, or many of the things you claim. The whole of TRP is about how wrong we were told about those things, but it doesn't mean they don't exist. First of all, you need to learn to r…

I am sorry, can someone explain this one to me? If you check my post history, you will know I entered my 30s with my wife leaving me, but I am exactly what this post says. No wife, no debt, no kids... But I lost my job and not exactly happy being sex less. Is there something I am not seeing?

I already made peace with that, despite how unbelievably hard it is. I made peace that she most probably cheated, and even if she didn't, she started after the divorce. I won't lie, I am already doing that, getting better at the gym and everything, but it's not as easy as people marketed it to be... I still think about her, sometimes my brain tells me to insult her, other time it tells me beg her back. I won't do both, but it's not easy...

Yeah, the plan was I move first then she catch up, but she didn't, and moved out of our? I guess my place... After staying there for like 6 months..

I do admire her, greatly. Both in a negative and positive sense. She could've divorce rape me but she didn't. She could've done more damage, much more damage, but she didn't. But at the same time, some of the things she told me was so vile and demeaning, that it truly destroyed what I was before, and while I think she did it maliciously, I couldn't be more thankful. I needed to be destroyed and be built anew...

I did read, continue reading and learning, and I think I distilled all tbe lessons I can from why she left. I won't lie, I spent a lot of time crying in my own puddle, and sometimes still do. Things are hard but I take ownership of what I do. And right now my main goal is improving...

Amen. I do take absolute full responsibility. While I have a lot of negative feelings towards her, ultimately I know she only did what she thought was the best for her, and I can't blame her for that... I started my journey. Going strong..

Oh, tons. First of all, to know that I have a right to grief, and that what she did was wrong. Technically, my ex wife just lost attraction and left, as amicable as possible, and she didn't want to keep on touch, with the "love of her life" and "best friend" for seven years. Many people told me she didn't do anything wrong. Many did admit she was in the wrong, but never specified why. Even I didn't know why. What I knew was that I am hurt like hell. Typing this (even before publishing on reddit)…

It's a form of catharsis. When you live a year in solitary confinement and going through the hardest period of your life (so far!), sometimes you need to let shit out. I know the pill advocates every man to be a black hearted robot, but unfortunately humans aren't exactly built this way. I know I have a lot of feelings, and I know my feelings are bad and I should feel bad for having them, but it is what it is currently, and I will do anything and everything to move forward, including victim puki…

OYS #4 Context 30 yo, 5’8, 211 lbs, 32% bf Body Hello fellas, First of all, I realize how I came across and understand the response I got. I wasn't actually owning to my own shit. I decided to start stronglifts 5x5 immediately and increase "my pathetic lifts", I have been dieting but haven't measured my stats lately but I definitely lost some weight, coworkers are commenting about this. I started counting my calories religiously (eating less than 1500 kcal and very low carb/keto) and it seems th…

Thanks for the reply. As to the first point, I am dieting and exercising, I have no problems in the journey of losing weight, I am just saying it will take time. What to do in this time in relation with being good with girls. The second point is the hardest. I don't envy people, I just feel resentment towards society, or my former life. I was lied to, and I think I missed a lot of opportunities, a lot of experiences, especially with women. Religion, women, men, family, society, they lied, and I …

I won't bullshit, I know that you are 100% right, but I took thr divorce real hard. It was unbelievably taxing on me emotionally, especially thst I am alone, along with the absence of most of my "friends", add an uncertain future and a job loss, well, all the talk about maintaining frame is meaningless. I fell and I fell hard. Now, while I got much better (to the point of thinking about my future), things are still hard. I think a social circle is very important, especially for my mental health.…

I got out of bed to reply thoroughly, so here we go: Why do you feel pain and where is it coming from? I 100% know the answers that you may give, but you need to figure this out for yourself. lots of reasons. i made mistakes, so shame for that. i was willfully blind, so that too. I feel very betrayed, as my ex didn't even bother to ask how i am for a month during a global pandemic (despite the whole lets be friends crap, and this woman was family for years), the absolute abrupt end of friendship…

Humans survive in groups. Getting shunned meant death for a long time for us. I can't explain why it's scary for me, but it very much is. I feel the walls of my place closing up on me. I truly fear that this is it. I will always be alone for the rest of my life. I dont want to be alone, and most people who say they do are lying

Human are wired to live in communities. It's unnatural to - at least- not want someone to care. But after this, I now KNOW no one cares. It's a cold world, but it's the card I was dealt

Believe me, this isn't self pity. I don't want pity. I want actionable advise. I do admit that I did a lot of reading and very little internalizing. Oh well, that's why the divorce happened...

The cure for it is as u said, fresh poon. I have zero confidence in my current, fat, depressed self to get that. I am working, hard, to stop being that person, but it will take time, time where I won't be getting the poon, and hence, will still have oneitis... Any advise?

You are right. I did drop the victim mentality, victims don't do anything. But I can't get over the negative mindset. And while I wouldn't call her a oneites, she was my wife for 7 years. I don't want to get back together, but you are right. I am just content not thinking about her everyday all the time

I logically know that. I logically know a lot of stuff. Emotionally I am not quite there yet

I think this is the ugly truth here. Time. I will feel like shit and continue till I don't. I am already thankful for the divorce. It showed me the false reality I have been living in. It literally unplugged me. I now know who my friends are, and who aren't. That was one of the worst pains... I hope things work out for you

Hah, the middle east has a bit of PR nightmare. Many people think that it's the last bastion of men, the reality is its the complete opposite. So no, no stoning here... I know that I have the best years of my life ahead of me, but absolutely no will to grab it...

The thing about it is that I am not sure I learned my lessons. It's over, I know, but it was a complete and utter surprise (not the divorce, but the 180 turn in attitude) that I honestly feel wholly unprepared to deal with any relationship, intimate or not. If the woman I called family and invisioned the rest of my life with didn't hesitate to leave, why wouldn't anyone else?

Thanks man. The weight loss has been very hard actually, I have a lot of troubles losing weight, and can gain weight in mere days. I did take cooking as a hobby, but lately it's been faltering, but I am doing my best not to at least indulge in sugar and fast food. I did read a ton of books. A TON. I have no game, as I need field practice, not theory alone... It's my next project. Glad to know things worked out well for you

True and wise words. But my objective is the now, I can't think in days let alone years, what can i do now to regain my drive?

I am ashamed to say that yes, marriage was my mission. Or rather, the "married life". My main focus was career, to be able to provide and live a better life. All that is gone, so what's the point? My problem now is lacking the energy to search for the mission. I was always a man of a mission, now there is non, and nothing is attractive enough to seek...

I did do just that, but I am not sure the next relationship will be better, and I am not about to find out. While ur advise is sound, It actually make things worse. There is an infinite number of things I want to be. Too much choices is freezing. I just stop thinking and porn/video games

One of the best things is that no kids and no divorce rape (hopefully), but the scars might not heal. I feel like I have seen the eye of the devil, evil I didn't know existed, especially with someone you were with for years, someone you called home

Thanks man. I actually did all that, which is the reason I wrote this post. I analyzed to insane degree all my past mistakes and encounters, I took multiple advise from multiple people, I meditated, read like 6 books in a month, had a nice routine, cooked my own meals, etc etc. It was working... But then, everything stopped. My pet died, my only companion. Since then I just can't. It's not that I feel lazy, I can deal with lazy. I literally can't even start the internal dialog to make myself do …

Thanks. I did read the rational male. It was so spot on, and predicted past behavior of mine and her that some of it felt like a punch in the gut. I did do all that, thanks brother

I just turned 30, I know logically that I am young, but I feel old. Very very old. When ur dumped and have severe scarcity mentality, and completely rudderlees, the future doesn't seem bright...

Banging strangers is next to impossible sadly. I have a lot of work to do on myself before I am "bang a stranger" smv level... I am trying my best not to be gay about it, but every plans for the future are evaporated. I practically have nothing to live for (or so think the bitch in me, but hard to reason with that bitch right now). I simply lack the energy to kick myself up like I always do

Ok, but it's a very scary thought. I thought "normal" people would have someone who cares about them. Guess I thought wrong
