Thank you for sharing. It only hurts more if he ghosts after you have sex so im glad i found FDS because my attitude used to be "if he likes me it wont matter if we waited for sex". It DOES matter because if sex was his only intention you'll be ditched after giving up sex rather than ditched with minimal attachment.

I’m not a psychologist but having been in this situation myself the man who is manipulating and emotionally abusing you causes a wound to your self esteem that you feel only he can fix. It’s natural to want a happy ending so you don’t want to leave this person you loved on such a terrible note. You want them to somehow fix the damage THEY caused you psychologically. That’s just not possible and they’re never going to change that’s the hardest thing to realize in those situations. You try to chan…

They are very aggressive and dominant in the bedroom and want you to do whatever they say. The narcissist I was involved with told me he gets off on other peoples pain....

WOw. the audacity of this man to basically lay out that you are his backup plan. You deserve better & good for you for not replying. I love telling guys off but honestly it hurts them way more to be ignored

Yeah it was traumatizing. I never share that info with guys I’m just casual with because I’m very guarded & don’t like telling people in general. I told myself to be more open with people now I regret it a lot

I told the guy I was hooking up with (not a good person) about my dads death for the first time (it came up naturally in the conversation) We had sex later on and out of nowhere (we had sex many times before and nothing like this) he kept trying to get me to call him daddy in bed like it was so fucked up and disrespectful given what I had shared with him earlier and I don’t know if that was a conscious thing he did or not

I am doing the same thing right now. I “attract” narcissistic men who want to use me for their own egos. I am attracted to confident dominant type of men and these types tend to be selfish as well. I think these men try it with lots of people and it’s not that we attract them..lots of people attract them. It’s simply that we haven’t looked past their bullshit and we LET them be in our lives I think your idea of making a list of what you will and won’t put up with can help screen them out. Stick …

Needed to hear this. Been the girl who a guy keeps going back to in between gfs but he would never wanted a relationship with me. I had feelings and he didn’t. Made me wonder why he spent all this time with me if I wasn’t good enough for him. He used me for sex while lying that he wants more-and was extremely manipulative. then I see him treating other girls well and going on dates with them. I wonder if behind closed doors he’s just as toxic and horrible with them or if it was just me.

Mine convinced me we would be in a relationship the 6 months we were talking before we met. Even said I could move in with him lol. Whole time he lied about wanting to commit and he kept me in his web literally for the last 5 years on and off pushing my boundaries sexually and gaslighting behaviour. I’m grateful I never actually got into an official relationship with him even though that’s what I wanted at the time. He caused me so much anxiety and insecurity that I stopped eating and I started …

Superficial charm, physical attractiveness, Confidence, dominance, love bombing, the fact that he had so many options but seemingly chose me. A mixture of complimenting And Negging me when I was already insecure. Surprise he was a complete narcissistic abuser who was doing this to multiple women and still is to this day!

Yep I asked him to and he wouldn’t. And he had the audacity to not text me after this sub par sex. Smh that’s fine I’m not trying to have t shirt sex while you have me fully naked...

I know this has been said but NEGGING is huge The guy I recently dropped I was on and off with for years he’d say stuff like “Look cute tonight” “Your hair colour is so pretty. Your hairs not that long though” “You have a nice smile. My teeth are whiter though.” Or just make mean jokes at my expense. I think guys like this can sense your insecurity and prey on it. His behaviour really did work in making me just insecure enough to want to gain back his approval. Last time I saw him I realized how…

Yeah that’s true. This guy seems low effort however he has had a few girlfriends he recently became single again which I guess is why he’s exploring his options. His relationships seem to last like 5 months max Maybe I should just accept I guess I’m not his type/ not girlfriend material in his opinion

yeah you're right I feel like if we go on a date or two hes just gonna lose interest when he realizes im really not into having sex again.

You're right I always had some feelings for this guy and wanted to explore a relationship again without sex happening but he never treated me properly before and if we do end up dating "he bootycalled me on and off for years until he finally decided I was good enough to date" isnt really the story I want to tell... Im going to bail.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
