I empathized until you said you get laid every couple of months. That is very frequent in this day in age. Your problem sounds like you can’t keep them around.

That only works when you’re 6’4 with all the extra words above.

Zero. No change. Was 5’8 200lbs, now a fit 150. I have not seen a single change in women’s perception of me.

This doesn’t make me feel any better. Who cares if it’s me or them? It ain’t happening either way.

Wow I just went to reddit to make the exact same post. I’m also 34 and maxed out on looks/self improvement. I just realized that 100% of the times I’ve made myself vulnerable to ask for a date/number/whatever have ended in rejection. I had a relationship once but the girl came to me and made it happen. How do I keep my spirits up? It gets worse every rejection.

Not what you want to hear, but I’ve had a lifetime of rejection, manipulation, abandonment, and overall invisibility. I’m not bad looking either, I’m average and on the muscular side and every time I’ve asked for a number/date/relationship has ended in rejection.

Thank you for stating the obvious. Now what about those who never see any of those signs?

Glad someone’s on the same page. The rest of these comments make me sick.

Hmmm so the one point i would challenge on is the keep sentences short thing... in theory i guess that makes sense? But it seems like those who dominate the conversations in a group get all the attention and looks. I’m a short comment/reaction based guy. One liners, etc. But it seems these long winded attention commanders get everything and i’m a side piece. What do you think?
/r/seduction23/03/21 02:46 PM

Exactly right. Especially the part about glittery eyes. It’s happened more times in my life than i can count. And every time, i just wish i had some kind of action i could come back with when the other guy takes over.
/r/seduction22/03/21 02:29 PM

Well, I am that guy. I’m the in-shape, muscular one. All the other guy has over me is a good dead-pan sarcastic teasing wit about him.
/r/seduction22/03/21 12:45 AM

I also lost a ton of weight, look my best ever, and it’s increased female attention by ZERO. Your doors are now open to find something, so you can start to practice and get better as you go.

Counterpoint again: Why does only the male have to work to improve himself to top 3%? Relationships take 2 to work well.
/r/seduction15/12/20 06:02 PM

Counterpoint: There’s a lot more than 3% of men in relationships. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Not walking by he came into a fenced in area and started chatting
/r/seduction13/12/20 02:17 PM

Wow that sucks, i feel for you man. It’s like another person posted on this thread: it’s compatibility, if they are not a perfect match, competition doesnt matter. If they are a perfect match, competition also doesnt matter
/r/seduction13/12/20 02:16 PM

Right, it’s the second situation. I’m just saying whenever these dudes are around (bars, parks, wherever) i just get jealous of their natural qualities and stop having a good time.
/r/seduction13/12/20 02:13 PM
2

No, he came in and started up a conversation. So it’s 3 people in a small fenced in area, and i could tell this guy’s game was on point.
/r/seduction13/12/20 02:09 PM

I like this. It’s actually what I tried to do. Inside it tore me apart. But it seemed like the best option. Thanks.
/r/seduction13/12/20 04:36 AM

I agree so I tagged it as inner game. Do others not feel the same way when these guys are around? Any suggestions of how to handle it?
/r/seduction13/12/20 04:18 AM

It feels like the chances of transcending this downward spiral get lower and lower each time failure is reinforced. “Controlling attitude and how you deal with it” might also mean just doing something else with your life, before you spend all of it chasing your own tail.
/r/seduction04/11/20 08:02 AM

Good point. I took it gracefully the first time when “thank you but i’m actually dating someone” was the answer. Led to another chance a year later. Still seeing it as a no, but didn’t lose anything from it.
/r/seduction11/10/20 05:50 PM
4

Oh absolutely. Discussions of it pop up in these reddits/comments a lot. A lot of guys have really bad reactions to rejection like name calling, not respecting the word no, even violence. It’s why ghosting has become so popular, especially in online dating when they don’t know the person well. It’s just too risky to say no. Even with my friend I’m super comfortable with, she still just said “I’ll think about it” and the topic never came up again. We’re still really good friends because I was abl…
/r/seduction11/10/20 03:00 AM

I’ve done it and not had the relationship change at all. Assuming she values your friendship at all she won’t want anything to be different and will understand why you went for it. If you get rejected or an ambiguous answer just play it off like nothing happened and you’ll be fine. But you HAVE to take a rejection gracefully if it happens. No retaliation or strong reaction because girls are actually quite scared to reject guys in 2020.
/r/seduction11/10/20 02:44 AM
12

Second this. I’m the definition of normal, and i make lasting friendships with pretty much any girl i want. Never, ever, does it lead to anything more.
/r/seduction11/09/20 04:28 AM
4

Exactly. I know plenty of guys in relationships who game a lot. It’s still a passion, and the right person will find it interesting. There just might be a smaller pool to choose from, but you’ll get a better match.
/r/seduction24/08/20 04:39 AM

The fact this got zero comments is the ultimate proof I’m correct.
/r/seduction17/08/20 03:30 AM

Well, i didn’t ask for that response. It just happened so i don’t really have a choice.
/r/seduction02/08/20 01:45 AM

Thanks, it’s a relationship i want with her. Good point about re-learning me as a potential boyfriend.
/r/seduction02/08/20 01:43 AM

Why?
/r/seduction02/08/20 01:09 AM

Wow and not one date? The human race is doomed.

It doesn’t make them money to agree haha
/r/seduction30/07/20 11:13 PM

Good idea
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:57 PM

At least i can do that now, but it still hurts
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:55 PM
1

So a few successes erase all of this damage of rejection?
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:50 PM
2

Have you ever felt like you had the ability to choose from a handful of options this way? I keep getting rejected from girls i have really fallen for over time, and that i’ve particularly selected to ask out. I don’t feel anything for girls i’ve just met, so I would at least like to feel that there’s a possibility of options.
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:48 PM
1

I am in the top 10% and still no return.
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:40 PM
2

The number itself doesn’t matter, i just think it sounds ridiculous when the advice given is “go approach 300 women”. It should definitely NOT be this hard or the human race wouldn’t exist.
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:37 PM
1

Yes, I do need. And i don’t think it’s a problem. Most people do need a close human connection. There is no shame in being honest with myself and my feelings about that. It’s not a hole i’m trying to fill. It’s an addition onto my house that I want. I’m awesome and can give 100 reasons why I’m special and rare. It just never works out when I want it to, and I’m frustrated by it. Your comment is good for most people, I just think I’m beyond that.
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:32 PM
1

To clarify, i got rejected from someone i knew really well and liked deeply. I thought we had something rare. Now, i’m thinking what next? And the thought of playing the numbers game until i find anyone remotely close to the girl i chose does not sound appealing or satisfying.
/r/seduction30/07/20 10:17 PM
2

Just misreading everything i guess
/r/seduction30/07/20 03:44 AM
4

Agreed. Those once a year types are what’s killing my self confidence though. Every time i’m like “this is finally going to be the one!” and i’m let down over and over again. I almost stopped mid-conversation this time because i could already tell what was going to happen. 😢
/r/seduction30/07/20 03:34 AM
3

I’m saying everyone I’ve built a connection with first has been one-sided and I get rejected. So now if I play the stupid numbers game, I just get whatever comes up without much choice. It’s not worth it in that case, right?
/r/seduction30/07/20 03:22 AM

Makes sense. I blackout every time i go for it. That will never stop until i get some sort of positive response.
/r/seduction30/07/20 03:14 AM
5

That’s all based on looks. Of course. But I’m talking about a deeper connection which you aren’t gonna know for a while.
/r/seduction30/07/20 02:43 AM

Post what happens when they write back to you. Hopefully they do soon!

Need more posts like this around here. Thank you.
/r/seduction02/07/20 12:12 AM

But i don’t want money and power, i value sharing life’s experiences over any of that shit.
/r/seduction28/06/20 11:08 PM

The blackout feeling is real. Glad you got it out of the way before the gym girl. I had a similar situation and when i finally approached i blacked out and barely remember anything, except her being very nice and welcoming so don’t be scared.
/r/seduction27/06/20 11:18 PM
3

It has to be the right situation. Like my one friend in particular, we’re similar in EVERYTHING as i got to know her sitting next to her at work where interaction flowed easily. I fell for her, but she didn’t feel the same when i asked her on a date. We’re near best friend territory because we connect so well, so i’ve totally accepted that nothing romantic will happen, yet this is still an extremely positive relationship in my life.
/r/seduction26/06/20 03:28 AM
11

These aren’t exclusive. Yes, you could be attracted but if you put that aside, she also makes a good friend. You could share common interests, world views, etc. It’s only dishonest if you don’t share friend traits and instead you fake friendship with ulterior motives.
/r/seduction26/06/20 01:52 AM
4

Well-written, well-illustrated points. I don’t believe you that her friends all went to get a drink at once, and that they left without her. But good job.
/r/seduction22/06/20 05:11 AM
6

Agreed except for the part about you can’t expect the other person to fulfill emotional needs. You absolutely want this from a good relationship. If they don’t fulfill my needs, i’m out.
/r/seduction21/06/20 08:17 PM

Women are so selective, that would feel like buying a lottery ticket and expecting to win. I understand why most guys can’t help but act that way.
/r/seduction19/06/20 09:49 PM
2

Elaborate. I’m currently questioning what exactly IS confidence. It’s a vague term.
/r/seduction19/06/20 09:28 PM
2

For perspective, you describe yourself as below average looking. I describe myself as slightly above, and you’ve already had more success than me, so looks aren’t that important.
/r/seduction19/06/20 07:44 PM
2

Don’t discount your success in there! Already sounds like you’re doing something right, just keep going with it.
/r/seduction19/06/20 07:38 PM
1

Good point. I dont think i’m lacking in those either, but i see what you’re saying.
/r/seduction19/06/20 07:36 PM
1

In my experience, if i get to display my awesomeness it’s just “oh, that’s cool”. End of story. It’s not like “wow i’m attracted to you now!”
/r/seduction19/06/20 07:06 PM
1

But i can only control myself, i can’t control other peoples’ interest levels. It just doesn’t make sense, on paper i have everything i should have to be desirable.
/r/seduction19/06/20 07:05 PM
1

But that’s the correct inner game mentality, right? Just know you’re awesome.
/r/seduction19/06/20 06:06 PM
1

Fine, this is me: Anything i decide i want to do, i accomplish it. I decided i wanted to lose weight and get in shape. I did. Lost 60 pounds and look awesome. I wanted to learn the guitar solo from Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd last month. I did it in about 2 days. I supervise a team at a big financial company. I’m outgoing, i join groups by myself. I offer a lot of support emotionally. List goes on, and there’s not a hint of anyone interested in dating me.
/r/seduction19/06/20 06:04 PM
1

Just take my word for it. It’s more of the concept of why this happens.
/r/seduction19/06/20 05:57 PM
1

Assuming she was desperate, why is that dodging a bullet? Aren’t those two separate things? Is it possible everyone’s overestimating the “d word”?
/r/seduction19/06/20 01:35 AM
1

LOTS of assumptions here. Are you confirmed not in the friend zone? I have girls over all the time and nothing happens and nothing is expected to happen. She actually has to show up. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been told “sure let’s do xyz” and then she flakes. Especially if she has a bf. Nothing says her intent is to come over there AND hook up with you. Maybe you validate her or satisfy some other need of hers that her bf doesn’t.
/r/seduction19/06/20 01:26 AM
3

I’ve actually gotten feedback from some I ended up in the friend zone with. All of them say I have this sort of “too excited about everything” type of energy. Those i’ve really clicked with want me in their life, but just as a serious friend.
/r/seduction18/06/20 04:27 AM
11

But nothing works. What even IS confidence? And every interaction is different so there’s no effective practice. I’m 33, known about PUA since I was 16, not bad looking at all, and I’ve landed one woman ever. Tried everything. Not trying to shit on your post, it’s good, just feeling the same thing OP is feeling.
/r/seduction18/06/20 03:24 AM
11

Invite him over to your place and be touchy. Done.
/r/seduction24/05/20 04:58 AM
2

I see his point. A random hookup is now even more risky than it was before. Even people i know don’t stop to chat right now.
/r/seduction18/05/20 04:51 AM
1

Think for a second, what if someone from the future told you “yes, you found someone”. How would that change the way you feel about everything today? Having that one piece of certainty would allow you to enjoy today and spend it improving yourself or just enjoying life. I struggle with the exact same thing as you and I’m 33. It sucks.
/r/seduction14/05/20 12:52 AM

Oh, we have something in common. Wanna video chat? J/k
/r/seduction10/05/20 05:47 AM

I’m in the same boat and i basically just stopped texting everyone. Haven’t messaged any matches on apps. Can’t meet up, so i’ll try again later, or not and just try someone else. I also need advice on this because that’s the only conclusion i came to. Text is boring, not you.
/r/seduction08/05/20 05:10 AM

It’s only fair that as guys we have options to choose from. Many women have tons of options, we deserve the same.

I like turtles.
/r/seduction05/05/20 06:20 AM

Your experience is pretty close to mine. It’s frustrating af and I feel your pain. It’s also annoying to have people say “focus on yourself instead” as some magic solution. I took that advice a year ago. I lost 45 pounds, I dress better, I’m out of the house doing something fun or interesting nearly every night gaining experiences I can share. I now look as close to that “male model” type as I’m going to get. Guess what? I still get ghosted and sent mixed signals. No interest shown in me over an…
/r/seduction24/04/20 06:19 AM

Agreed. Thanks!
/r/seduction20/04/20 11:22 PM

The reverse of that last sentence is why I almost want to check in. So after this is over she’s not like “why didn’t YOU call?” It’s a catch 22.
/r/seduction20/04/20 09:50 PM
5

Same situation. I want to be thoughtful and check in on someone i built momentum with because she’s having a rough time with 2 jobs affected by covid. But i don’t want it perceived as “he has nothing better to do”. Let me know if you figure out how to balance it.
/r/seduction20/04/20 08:57 PM
5

Perfect response. OP - Do you want to hide your feelings your whole life to be with someone who doesn’t respect them? Express your feelings and if they don’t like it, move on.
/r/seduction19/04/20 05:31 AM
2

Agreed. I really want to believe this isn’t true. But the more I seek to disprove it, the more true it becomes.
/r/seduction19/04/20 05:26 AM
1

First point: just start reading the top posts on here, and you’ll see the patterns in behavior. Although I’ve never found success with it. Last question: ask them to meet up somewhere, and see if they show up. You’ll know the difference right away.
/r/seduction19/04/20 05:20 AM
1

Yeah. I’d have had a hard time figuring out which was old/new. Feel good about it!
/r/seduction19/04/20 04:55 AM
1

Thanks! I’ll check it out.
/r/seduction18/04/20 10:59 PM
3

That last sentence will be written on my tombstone. Everytime I hear it, I want to believe it, yet I can’t.
/r/seduction18/04/20 10:58 PM
4

Exactly. There’s no non-verbal language over text. You’re just going to dig into the friend zone if you make a penpal right now.
/r/seduction18/04/20 10:02 PM
1

It’s more of a motivation thing. Can’t workout in front of good looking women, or display results. So the drive isn’t as strong. And also eliminates all hope that gets me out of bed thinking “this could be the day”.
/r/seduction18/04/20 09:52 PM
1

Haha not the intention of my wording above. Your looks are absolutely good enough, and it’s not where your mind’s focus should be. I’ve been overfocused on looks before, and it’s distracted me from actually paying attention to what’s going on in the room. Being distracted is far worse than having a few hairs out of place.
/r/seduction18/04/20 09:36 PM
2

I thought working hard would lead to success
/r/seduction18/04/20 05:58 AM
1

Looks the same to me. Don’t overthink it. She came to you probably for how you make her feel instead of looks. You don’t want someone shallow anyway, so nothing to lose.
/r/seduction18/04/20 03:27 AM
2

Last year, I did all of the above. Still an absolute zero in results. Dropped 45 pounds, new wardrobe, new hair style, and now compliments are coming from everywhere, but again, zero results. Do it anyway, you’ll at least feel better about yourself.
/r/seduction07/04/20 07:52 PM
3

I’ll just use you as my one source because that’s pretty wise advice.
/r/seduction03/04/20 05:18 AM
15

Definitely not counting on it. Just thinking about the situation, because this sub would have you think it never happens, yet I’ve met tons of real-life examples of this. Got curious about how it even happens at all in those cases.
/r/seduction02/04/20 07:03 PM
2

Thank you, another great post. Reassurance that I’m close to success, and that it’s not necessarily on me if someone bails.
/r/seduction19/02/20 04:27 AM
2

First, your posts are great. Second, what do you say about this when getting mixed messages? It’s not always clear when to disengage. For example, frequently they seem very excited for the chance to spend time with you, then backing out and suggesting another time. So you try again, still excitement, still wanting you around in their life, yet more excuses. Is this still “chasing” when they’re saying one thing and doing another? I’m only acting on what’s being presented to me as enthusiasm.
/r/seduction18/02/20 08:48 PM
