So telling them that something looks different about them (if its nothing noticeable, just say you dont know what it is, but you like it, if they ask). But in a friendly vibe way. Dont go overboard. A little comment means a lot more than a lot more than an overdone compliment. Say you like their shirt. if they ask why, say their blue shirt really brings out their eyes (you get what I mean). You dont perceive it as awkward but girls do. The quiet ones need a boost. Make them curious.
