Depends what you mean by "decent". As someone who usually do strength routines, I can safely say that it is pretty rare to look like you barely lift if you deadlift X3 your bodyweight, bench X1.5 your bodyweight and can military press your own bodyweight. Sure, I made more "mass" gain while I was and am doing 8-10 reps with a lower weight. But there is something amazing doing mass after strength where you do 8 reps with the 1RM of the stocky jerk who suffers from the invisible lats syndrom
