Physical fitness (if I make the effort to be in shape, please care about fitness/staying healthy, medical care is expensive and longevity matters). Someone who loves to grow and learn and read and isn’t a complacent person. Caring, loving, respectful, gentlemanly, will respect me as a person and cares for his mom/sisters (assuming good relationships with them exist). Dependable, responsible, I know that if things are going wrong he is dependable in a crisis. Hardworking and ambitious (I work har…

I agree with that whole list actually I don’t see why women wouldn’t

I would hesitate to conflate intelligence with degrees. My mother is the most responsible, caring, kind, and beautiful woman I know, and she’s also sharp as a tack. She had to drop out of college (come from a culture where arranged marriage is common) and had to marry my dad, who has an advanced degree/established career. Any day of the week she can wipe the floor with any of us (all three of her children have advanced degrees as well.) She is refined, elegant, graceful, and managed the househol…

It is simply not stigmatized or shamed to the same degree as women. Calling a woman a slut has a much more negative connotation than calling a man a fuckboy.

And why aren’t men who sleep with lots of women seen as slutty?

I think, and I’m not trying to be pejorative, therapy will do you wonders. (I’ve also been to therapy! It changed my life.) to try and figure out where these feelings are coming from and how to move forward. But I feel you. Dating sucks all around. I didn’t trust men because, in my eyes, it just seemed like all men traded for a younger, hotter, more interesting and smarter model, every chance they got. I felt like, in their eyes, I wasn’t valued as a person, just what I could provide for them or…

I think the key is asking yourself really why you reject these parts of yourself. Society? Women? Childhood? And realize that your life is yours you don’t owe anyone shit. You’re an empathetic kind guy? Do you. Be happy. Having that confidence to embrace who you are, screw the world

I find it interesting that you seem to ignore the fact that millions of women around the world are passionate about their work and even achieve at high levels. Female presidents, lawyers, scientists, doctors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, millionaires, and leaders do exist. And no, they aren’t working to solely impress men. They are passionate and excelling at their work. Even in your field, you will find distinguished female doctors, in all specialties from oral-maxillofacial surgery to academic medicin…

To your second point, that’s true. Everyone has to worry about safety, but chances are, as a man, you don’t worry about the majority of other men raping you, the way women do. The majority of ptsd survivors aren’t veterans but rape victims.

Well see that’s natural I’d say. Most people take actions over words after they’ve been burned, women included, and I think that’s honestly the right way to go. If someone says “I love you” but they don’t act like it, of course you don’t trust them, that’s true for everybody. Actions have to back up what you say or it’s just words. If you just take men’s word for it and don’t look at the men’s actions too, you’d never really be able to see if they were telling the truth either right? So I don’t …

I mean think of it this way. Wouldn’t you be upset if a woman did the same to you? Did not trust a single word you said. Made you send her your location at all times, even though you said you were at the gym and that’s where you were. You wouldn’t feel free with her, and I’m willing to bet you’d end that fast. All her life, she was taught that men are violent, and they only want sex, and at any moment they could rage and do something drastic. Taught to see men as rapists or a predator. There are…

Not entitled, just equal to. If I spend all day working just like you, I don’t want to be entirely responsible for the house chores and child care when I’m dead tired as well, while the guy just relaxes. And yeah, if a guy is acting abusive or psycho, or cheats and puts me through shit, id feel okay leaving bc I have my own money.

Women aren’t equipped to comprehend? Because you say so? Please, cite real scientific studies that illustrate womens’ “inferior” intelligence and inability to comprehend. It must seriously grate many of you when women achieve more than you in life. And I’ll post wherever I please. You don’t own Reddit. :)

Not trying to convince you of anything really, just stating my quite logical opinion. If a man said the same thing, you’d agree in a heartbeat, and in fact, I’m echoing what a couple of men here are saying, Randomly saw this post when I opened Reddit. You do whatever the fuck you want, I’ll do whatever the fuck I want, that’s the beauty of life. Have a wonderful day :) hope that stay at home wife stays married to ya, and in the event of divorce, doesn’t snatch half your shit.

It’s always interesting to me how guys act surprised about gold diggers. The fact is many (but not all) women are gold diggers, and I’m a woman saying that. The thing some men don’t get is that, to many women, money is a hot commodity, the same exact way a man evaluates woman’s appearance. To men, looks are the hot commodity. Lots of y’all crap on women for looking at money the same way you care about looks, just saying. I mean who would you as a man tend to go for? The hot, bitchy gold digger w…
