Literally under fire. What a scary experience. Glad that nobody was injured and that you are safe. Time to buy a lottery ticket I'd say. Take care. :)

My thoughts exactly. The longer I hold myself back, the more I become snappy and nagging. The more I snap and nag, the less likely he is to be receptive or even care for these types of conversations. This is not what I want. Thanks for replying. :)

Good idea about the music. I think it's time I put my big girl pants on and find out what's going on. Posting here has given me some courage. Thank you.

Ok, you're right, maybe it's not the only time that we are alone together, but it feels like the only time we're actually doing nothing. We haven't been out to dinner recently as he's trying to eat healthily and eat at home. So we've been eating at home but the tv is still on during dinner. I try to talk to him about less deep things while we're eating and the tv is on and I get a very short response and it's straight back to the tv. I'm kind of lost regarding this. We're always doing something …

Exes all live in different states. Knew that past post would bite me in the butt. But that's all over now. Bottom line is I trust him. The only other woman in his life is FIFA 15.

"If you have stated to him that you would like to take your conversation to the next level and he has shown no interest then why are you still trying? Men aren't oblivious." Hence the part why I feel like I am failing by nagging him. I agree with what you are saying. I would just like to know where to go from here.

No, he's said directly to me that we are exclusive. In a relationship. He calls me and introduces me as his girlfriend. So unless I'm in an exclusive but purposefully temporary relationship I don't see why I would be a plate. I have also met his parents. Do plates meet parents?

It's pretty much me stating I would like to take conversation to another level and then being scared to follow through. That is why it is conflicting. I admit it is nobody's fault but mine.

Noted. Thank you. When do you suggest I bring it up? Obviously post sex is a no no but it seems to be one of the only times we get to spend one on one without other people interrupting or daily schedules getting in the way.

Of course I am scared. Sometimes change and introducing new things is scary, I don't think this means I have a bad relationship.

I mean it in the sense that it seems (to me) every thing is falling in line for something bad to happen. First of all they have a history together. (I was happy to leave this in the past. But it seems it won't stay there.) Secondly he was upset that she moved away. (Sort of like the one that got away to be extreme.) Thirdly she has now moved to his HOME state. Which gives him a bit of incentive to move there. (There is pressure on him from his family to move back home.) And now fourth is that we…

"to keep one eye on my boyfriend and one eye on other girls" was probably not the right expression. I mean to say that it is hard to give all I can to my boyfriend whilst looking out for girls at the same time. Don't know if that makes it any better. I didn't mean to say "keep an eye on my boyfriend" because he's so untrustworthy and all that. Wrong choice of words.

Thank you so much for your long reply. I would have talked to a friend about this but I think that would be a bad idea so I came here for advice. :) Regarding dread game: yes I know well what it is. But sometimes I do wonder where the line between dread game and hurting a relationship is. Your idea of looking fabulous is probably what I'll have to do. I used to be kind of sassy like this and had a 'bring it on' attitude towards other women but I've lost it a bit. :( Guess I'm in a bit of a rut. …

The last time I cleaned my boyfriends house I got pizza and head. Well worth it I'd say. He was really grateful that I'd helped him out because although he tries he just wasn't able to keep on top of it all. His house was too big for one man to be living in by himself so I suggested I'd help him out and he let me.

I don't have AC either so here's what I do when it gets too hot: Eat lots of salads and cold fruits (nothing is worse than a food coma from greasy foods especially on a hot day) I pretty much live in my bikini when I'm at home if it's too hot Put a few wet face towels in the freezer and leave until chilly (make sure you lie them flat though) I'm not sure if this is correct but apparently the back of the neck/head/shoulders area is where placing a cold towel is most effective. It may not be true …

I like this. I will try to be more encouraging of any decisions he makes when I see him tonight. The only thing for me is that whenever I make encouraging comments they sometimes seem to be interpreted as sarcasm which sucks even if I had good intentions. How do you phrase your encouragement so it doesn't come off as sarcastic? Is it tone of voice, any particular words or body language?

The UV index is 12+ pretty much all year round where I live. So I do not think religious sunscreen use is unwarranted. I do not fear unprocessed fats hence the bit about nuts and protein. Tuna and salmon steaks are also my best friends. Thank you for your concern, I will keep doing my thing and keep your advice in mind.

I am only early 20s but I use sunscreen religiously on the backs of my hands and on my arms before I go out driving. The UV where I live is pretty harsh and I think areas like the hands and neck are where you show your true age the most. So anything I can do to prevent this I will try. I have found the best weight loss results from eating very few processed foods, very little fat, no added sugars and very few processed carbs. Lots of protein, nuts and fresh foods have helped me to lose quite a b…

All of your game is fair enough but I hope the dread and the golden ratio is used wisely and not "just because". If this was a major part of my boyfriend's game I would definitely question his loyalty, attraction and commitment levels. This could have negative consequences if you really want to continue your relationship with her. If suddenly someone you knew was not as excited about you as you were about them, would your attraction wane? Probably. Especially if there is no way for physical cont…

Articles of this nature take a reeeeally long time to get to the point. And when you finally get to the "point" it is just the body of the article paraphrased. Round in circles. Where is the substance? "Let me give you heavily watered down advice in the hope that you will buy my e-book." Every time.

Makes perfect sense. Clubwear is definitely not the look I am going for haha. Although it is a shame that if we want to break away from boyish casual sometimes our only alternatives are clubwear. Thanks :)

This is my dilemma. Stores for younger women in my area are usually concerned with trends. And none of these trends suit me.

I like to do this too. It's especially easier when dinner requires baking so there is a bit of downtime for washing up. The way I see it, ain't nobody got time for worrying about lots of dishes after a good meal! So do them beforehand. :)

My boyfriend told me one time that it made him feel manly after I'd been holding his arm (without realizing) like this. It works for me too. For some reason it is more comforting for me to hold his arm like this. He's the perfect height and size too.

No.1 haha funny that. /r/RedPillWomen won't let me post there yet because I only just made my Reddit account today and have no karma so the bot told me to come here. But I have been lurking for a while. Thanks for answering! :)
