It’s gonna be less about “getting out of your head” in the sense of stopping negative thoughts, more about not identifying with your thoughts and your emotions and training yourself to choose which ones to engage with. I think mindfulness is a good place to start for beginners. It’s more accessible for those who tend towards over analysis. Be prepared to find some things you didn’t expect.
