Fuck all your hot coworkers too. It's the only industry were It's okay to shit where you eat and no one cares.

As for picking up tables skip the ones that have family with them. Write your number on a coaster and leave it in the checkbook for the solo hot ones.

This thread caught my eye. My cousin was a waiter at a restaurant throughout college. He noticed an attractive girl out on a date. Her date left early and he sat down with her and started talking. They're married now. She's expecting their first kid in a few months.

It depends on whos shes with.

If shes with the family all the time it might be impossible/ awkward to approuch her.

Shes with a group (and you know 100℅ that not one of the guys (if there are one) is her bf) then approuching the group in general is a good first step.

If shes with friends again first approuch the group and then maybe ask some questions and go in on her answer (?)

If shes alone you have clear sight

Be carefull not to seem unprofessional. But a talk with the waiter is never bad even for the buisness

I once went to a restaurant myself and the waiter was very intested in me and my friends. (Not in a weird way) He kept helping us. (He spoke anather language so he helped us with translation) and it left a good impression on the restaurant. So its not bad to be a little social

You can't try to force it. If you see an opportunity or if a girl seems to be feelin you in particular just take a chance but do it in a way that doesn't put any pressure on her. Because like you said, you don't want to appear unprofessional. But I know what you really want is examples haha so for instance last night I had a party of 15 in our private dining room. There were a few fine ass girls and I had my eye on one in particular. So I acted normal as usual working the whole room, making everyone laugh...but at the end when the girl I was eyeing needed a togo box, I took a sharpie and wrote "Shh. Our secret. Just act normal" and my number so she saw when she opened up the box. So I don't know man. Just be creative haha

I'd act somewhat friendly and look at the girl your interested. If she picks it up then she'll give you her # if she's available. You might get when is your shift over? So be ready
