Some just want do the D.E.N.N. system and fantasize about the I.S. while sending their generic holiday season miss you text, variety in LVM!

Honestly? It can be a green flag in my opinion, the attractive female best friend would be worrisome but moreso in a confusing why aren’t they dating sense (is the guy LVM?), a lot of time these types are actually exes which is major red flag. But here’s my thought: A HVM should have some male friends that are in LTRs (being around all single bachelor type friends is a red flag) and he should be on good terms with their girlfriends instead of viewing women as an obstacle to hanging out with the …

A pre-FDS tactic that I started to utilize in OLD instinctually was that if I had to divulge information that my father had passed away years prior I made sure to mention that we were close (we were, but I’d have no problem omitting information if we weren’t) and I have supportive family around me still aka not looking for replacement support. LVM are absolutely on the hunt for the usual “””daddy issues””” they think make women easier to manipulate - if you have or had a terrible relationship wi…

This meme is trash because having healthy standards and knowing who you can go for is essential, but to go on a tangent (and this isn’t really an FDS issue since the women here would openly rather be single than in a crap relationship) I hate when some women I know complain about how someone they think is disgusting isn’t single while they themselves are. Just embrace the high standards and own it, no need to be petty about people JUST because they are in a relationship as if it should be reserv…

Throw in “okay, want to grab dinner before/after”, that is actually what guys used to do when I would suggest coffee/drinks when I was online dating (in relationship now so these examples of effort tbf are from a year and a half ago). I was DEEP in disordered eating issues so I feared any food occasion which is why I was doing such a thing (and clearly not FDS enlightened) but no matter what, the coffee/drink dates just sucked for the most part and I ended up having better dates when I agreed to…

You remember the sex being good because it was probably the only really good part of the relationship.

So many lurkers about to rage out about comments implying this isn’t an isolated incident and many men get off to the thought of this more than they will get upset about the murder of a child.

Yep, if he is interested he will find a way to contact you.

Dying @ the cretin hoping for videos and getting the “can’t share those will share stories later”, enjoy that creative writing exercise dude. Anyway, the idea of women trying to be the cool girl into kinky sex makes me sad - start vanilla, you can always add kinky shit later if you must (but honestly preferably don’t lol).

It’s still pretty pro-porn, a long way to go. Fauxcest/incest trend seems to be the main thing that is acknowledged as “weird” but the harm it causes is not being acknowledged. Literally the first thing I think of now in regards to that is a murder case in the past 5 years where the guy killed his step daughter (not going to provide additional details or the name of the case due to lurkers that would love the details) and frequently watched daughter incest porn. And then the even more recent tin…

Let’s be real, Midsommar! Any wary of FDS lurkers might misinterpret this rec as endorsing the actual actions within the film I’m sure, but the entire thing is a daylight horror film allegory for a breakup so leading up to the finale is all endless red flags of a LVM giving low effort and feeling like he is the one inconvenienced by having to offer emotional support to a woman.

Bear with me on this tl;dr storytime but this post inspired me: there is a guy I know from HS that randomly tried to message me and ask me out a few years back before I met the current bf - and besides the fact that dating someone from highschool/hometown just has never appealed to me I guessed that this guy must be a LVM on multiple factors including messaging a random girl he barely talked to in HS even though we actually had a lot of mutual friends he hung out with that involved single girls …

Men who brag about how much they spend on cars are the absolute worst, I can’t fully explain why but it’s red flags all over the place.

Basically your Saturday night is free. If drinking at all is a dealbreaker for you then be thick skinned about weeding out drinkers to save yourself time (put non-drinker, not open to bar dates in your Bumble profile if you don’t already).

this was TWO MONTHS in, violence is an end to a healthy relationship at any stage whether it begins months in or years in but this is bonkers that he couldn’t even make it through the relationship honeymoon stage before doing this shit and tried to play it off as barely anything to a relationships subreddit.

You should definitely join meetup groups or clubs - so many are specifically for women or mostly women. Honestly, being an adult and struggling to make new friends isn’t just an introvert issue in 2019, a lot of people that are extroverted will lose contact with hs/uni friends and struggle to make new friends without that easier social environment, so going to these groups and even outright saying that making friends as an adult is difficult and you are trying to do so will let people know you w…

EXPECT online dating to be mostly duds and a process that could take you a while, and believe men when they show you their true colors - no one trying to hint at sex in the first conversation when you are trying to just talk normally is going to turn gentleman if you show up at the date acting classy enough, and a guy that waits 24h to respond to a text isn’t going to be attentive later on. I am currently in a committed relationship and only started having sex/dating in the middle of my twenties…

Men who consistently go after younger women go after them because they feel more control over them and they it’s the easiest way for themselves to feel powerful and desired - women in their 30s don’t look any different but with a few exceptions they generally ACT different and expect more and predatory men hate that - they also hate the idea that a woman spent a decade of her youth not on him. Don’t bother trying to fit into a mold for these men, ever. And the tables are turning on these men and…

Men will literally sit there and trash women that have had multiple sex partners and then tell you if they don’t get sex by a specific number of dates they will have no interest in more dates - stop trying to fit into the box of sexually available but not promiscuous ideal female.

I’ll focus on online dating filtering out since for me it was the most annoying part of finding a relationship: Upfront about what he is looking for - if they are being vague or saying they are POSSIBLY looking for something deeper or just wanting to see where things go, run. You deserve to know whether you are in for hookup/fwb or in for a potential (like, actually potential) relationship, unless you Iike the idea of a defining the relationship discussion looming over you and being afraid he wi…

Don’t “go on a date” because you feel open to the idea of giving a date a shot, this is the wrong loser. If a guy gives you signs of being pushy and trash outright take him at his word, he isn’t gonna turn into a gentleman in person because you got him out to a date. Basically, block him again.

Yeah fine piece was the warning and OP should have officially dropped the convo at “MILF”, responding after that signals being objectified in an initial conversation is fine.

You spend so much time thinking about him and he does not spend the same energy thinking about you, and on top of it all he knows this - be petty and vow to stop updating him that this still the case by cutting off contact. Soon your mind will follow your actions and think on him less and less.

Having a good social life is a really good element! Let it be known that weekly you have plans and social events that do not revolve around them. It signals that they will never be your one and only source of support, and furthermore that you have connections to aide you through any type of breakup and provide you social connections to date again. Not to mention all those things are legitimately great things to have regardless.

Word @ only having Friday open being a red flag. The relationship most prior to my current one the guy only had specifically one day of the week free and it was only for a few hours that day, and I was supposed to believe he was super busy. The tables have turned or whatever where about once a year since he seems to fuck up another relationship and text me out of desperation just to be ignored, but I’m not fooled that he was thinking of me the entire time or anything, he is clearly texting multi…
